Very disappointed! I bought my engagement ring from the store and we were advised to get insurance for the ring in case of loss, theft or for repairs. The lady at the store said if i go swimming in Paris or skiing in Switzerland or any place else and I loose my ring they will replace it. Also they mentioned I can have cleaning and repairing services any time within 1 year of the purchase and an extra 2 years provided by the insurance. We went to another store and found out this wasn't the case. The ring would be replaced only if stolen from my finger, and not how the ladies at the store told us. Also, since we paid for the insurance in full and not in installments then cleaning and repairing is not covered. So i wonder why did i pay an insurance for? I was very happy when I purchased my ring, but then just got very upset and disappointed. I understand the sales team needs to make everything look better and brighter in order to sell more, but providing false information is not going to gain you happy costumers. This only made me regret buying my most precious piece of jewellery (in meaning) from this store. Very sad approach...

Got our engagement rings here, staff didn't seem too bothered that I was getting engagement rings... Just made the experience feel a bit less than it was... Also had to have the rings ordered and they definitely weren't new... both of them had a fare few scratches on them which meant we had to take them back then wait 4 weeks for new ones... which further dulled the experience... but super happy now we've got them...

Brilliant service from everyone i personally dealt with. Should have taken names, but the whole store was fantastic.... even though i had originally ordered the wrong product and the resizing didn't work out. My options and scenarios were clearly explained never over promising but always willing to go the extra mile and make a potentially stressful situation, actually very enjoyable. Thank you all at H.Samuel oxford street, a credit to the company.

Staff is lovely, however clearly not motivated and badly managed. They have no incentive to make sales. Funny story. I bought a gold chain as a gift to myself for a hard year at work. Chain was damaged. They had to order 2 different ones to find a good one. Making me come back every time. I worn the chain twice and it broke. The manager's advice? 'This is a woman's chain (I identify as male), so you might want a stronger chain made for men...' She didn't even apologise, try to understand... she didn't even want to speak to me and went through her staff! I learnt something. Gold chains have genders! Needless to say I got my refund and walk out, no bothered of finding a replacement (the shop assistant not bothered either, however lovely she was). This is the kind a reasoning that is wrong with this world. Maybe change the manager, get great sales incentives in, put together a training program and you might see a difference.

I understand with these new safety rules (Covid19) extra precautions are taken, but making people wait outside in 36 degrees weather and talking to the customer from a closed door is unacceptable. When the lady did open the door it was to as "what are you looking for?" For a second I doubted myself - what am I looking for?! No hello, no sorry for the wait. Just "what are you looking for" I said I would like to look at their chains and she said "OK, someone will be with you shortly." When going in the experience was not at all better. I asked an assitant to look at some chains and then she pulled them out to get them cleaned, sat me at a table and them tried them on comparing them with my actual one. After I said that I am not liking any she got up and recommended the more expensive chains and asked me to have a look at them. Immediately after I said I had a look and unfortunately today was not my lucky day she insisted to show me her "best deal of the day for chains" jumbling up prices and making up discounts in "her system." Why would I buy a chain from you that is listed at "£250" and you tried to convince me to get it at £250 when after 5 min you wanted to offer it to me for £199. Ugh, no thanks.

I was served by a lovely lady called Elaine today. Very pleasant experience. Elaine was helpful, friendly, and wasn’t at all pushy with the sales. Staff seemed to have great rapport with each other and their customers. Glad I visited, and I’m happy with my purchases.

Terrible customer service! I really recommend to avoid this shop, after 10 minute I'm having a look to the display a member staff commented loudly "I don't understand what this lady is doing, she came in 10 min ago and just watching the display"! I'm shocked about the poor and impolite service.

Worst customer service ever, very rude staff, specially the manager. They sell stuff that has been used, probably returns or ex displays, and it's damaged, be very careful because if you don't notice it, and try to return it, they will blame you. Quality is also bad, and pictures online don't show the real item. Terrible experience with my wedding ring. A place that I would recommend to stay away from.

Good staff and they are keen to sell... shame they dont actually have the items in stock and so constantly try to up sell. I offered to go back to view an item when it was in stock but they wont order for display (even though there is a gap for it) unless I pay upfront...without seeing it. Kept trying to get me to DOUBLE my spend to one they had in stock.

My son brought me a pandora bracelet for my birthday but I had no charms, we were in London for the day so we popped into the store just to look as I know camilla charms fit the same, adviser was very helpful and let us browse without pestering us, I asked if the charms were comparable as they were half the price of pandora, I choose 2 charms which happened to be on special price that day. Excellent customer services and jewellery, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for good quality and after care. ????????????

Nothing special. A classic without much originality, nor great service. Some of the items are randomly overpriced given the material they are made from and the quality (beware of sale items.... these are a hit and miss). On the plus side, the store does have a variety of jewelery, so if you're determined to find something reasonable and you need it fast, you'll find it there. A classic with a few old fashioned items, gold and silver pieces, allergy free earrings, watches with pretend Swiss touches, here and there a few novelties including a very interesting Disney collection (rather for adults).

Watches are the same design for over 10yrs. Nothing special especially when the World is so competitive these days. Very established company but they don't seem to be capitalising on that fact anymore and so becoming less popular to the younger generations.

Honestly, the worst experience I had in a shop. I spent £400 on a pendant locket and the first shop assistant wanted to give me a scratched one. BIG scratch, saying that's normal. She mentioned I could engrave the necklasse there. I've ask for a straight exchange (took 2 days) and went back. This time I've asked the supervisor if it's normal that the hinge of the door is moving that much. She said yes and after I took it, it became worst!! making a clicking sound like is going to break any minute. I went back for the 3rd time to exchange it, (took 5 days) and asked for engraving. She said they don't offer that service. LIER. I've seen it advertized on the website. Fine I left and went to another jewellery just so they can laugh on my face saying that the material of the pendant is so thin, if they engrave it will risk breaking the piece.... UNBELIEVABLE, don't recommend them at all. She should have told me I can't engrave it from the beginning not making me waste time on another place. They are complete RUBBISH names are: Yordanos, Loren (though she might not have notice the hinge problem) and the worst the blond supervisor women from the afternoon.

We tried and paid for our rings in Croydon, and they said the rings would be available to collect in Oxford Circus store before our big day. Then today when I went to collect, one ring is delivered to the store and the staff can’t even see tracking number in their system for the other. They didn’t even try to help or apologise. I asked to take another size of the same ring to replace the missing one, and I was asked to pay again the full price again! It’s very confusing that I have already paid for the rings, but I can’t have the different size of the same ring without paying. The staff just kept saying the store manager asked for this. But the manager didn’t even show up to explain why this payment is necessary.

The store has very friendly staff and my partner and I were made to feel very welcome even though the store was extremely busy with the post-Xmas sales. With that in mind, the store itself is rather small for such a good location. Could definitely do with a slightly more spacious location.

Today I saw a girl ran out crying from H Samuel Oxford Street just because of the behaviour of one of the employees of the store. I wanted to buy a ring too but seeing the girl being treated like that. I advice everyone to avoid this store and they should train their employees to behave in a good manner. Being the witness the lady staff brown or Asian or mix with short hair, literally rude, ill mannered and thinking of being the boss of the store instead of being an employee. I just saw the post as well witnessing the same and being the witness like to suggest the manager or supervisor of H Samuel to take strict actions against employees who are treating customers with such disrespect. Literally shameful services from such a good brand.
