Ignore all the bad reviews, the staff is extremely helpful and polite but sometime they’re just snowed under. Shoes are the comfiest and sells like hot cakes!

I love their shoes. Great ground feeling through the sole and a nice wide toe box for you toes to splay.

I was worried after reading these reviews, because I never tried these shoes and I needed some to help me chose the right pair. The moment, I entered the store, I was approched by staff member who made sure, I understand all benefits of their shoes and helped me with my size. I'm verry happy with the shoes I bought, they really did help me with my knee pain. Will visit again, thank you guys!!

I am looking to heal my feet by wearing Correct Toes in my shoes. I visited Vivobarefoot's shop in Neal Street, London and discovered that the correct shoe size for me is 40 (not 39). I would love my feet to heal within 3 years of wearing my Vivobarefoot Gobi shoes with my Correct Toes ????

Very helpful people work there. Did the 30min 'foot yoga' session. Excellent advice. Shoes are perfect for outdoor 'barefoot feel' training.

I want to be clear upfront, the 2-star rating in NOT for the Vivobarefoot product but rather this specific store. The product that vivobarefoot offers is suberb, comfortable, and stylish. My issue is with the customer service at the London store. For two days, I tried calling 7-8 times each day with no answer. Upon arriving in the shop, I never felt like I had the complete attention of any one salesperson. At the end of my transaction, the clerk put a talley mark beside her name for what I can only assume is a commissions tracker. Very put off by this experience. Now that I know my correct size, I will likely be doing my ordering online from now on.

Shoes are great, but staff is not very helpful. Didn't have the impression the guy actually wanted to sell them to me. Ended up buying then through the website.

I'm a coach who lives in trainers. I got my first pair of Vivobarefoot in July 18. I do everything in them : lift, cycle, crossfit, walk... and I can't stop recommending them to my clients and classes. With the wet weather, I noticed a funny smell started to build up. To be precise : a cat urine smell. Having no cat myself, changing into clean socks several times a day, and having never encountered this problem with any trainers before, I decided to email Vivobarefoot's customer service. I was advised to soak in water and soap, which I did with no result. Then I was told to use soda powder, which I did - again - with no result. I was also sent a general link from Google (thank you but I could have googled that myself too). I tried a few other things such as Febreze. The smell wouldn't go. I then decided to make my way to the Covent Garden store (where I bought the shoes) to see the experts. I talked to a gentleman who was lovely. When I said there's a certain smell, he reacted immediately saying "cat urine". Thanks god I wasn't the first one!!! He asked me to come back with the receipt and offered to give me a new pair of the same shoes. He would then send mine for further investigation. At that point he manager briefly stepped in and said "don't forget to give us a good review online". I thought into myself, that's a bit forceful especially when you know that this cat urine smell has given me a lot of trouble but OK... A few days later, I came back with the receipt as agreed. I was then served by the manager of the store himself. I found him very arrogant. It was like I'd never visited the store before and we'd never had a conversation. I had to explain everything all over again although they had a new pair of shoes, my size, with my name, waiting at the back. The manager then denied having had a single complain about the smell other. I asked : do you suggest this smell is coming from me? To which he replied yes. I was flabbergasted. He tried to shame me in the middle of the shop and acted as if he was doing me a favour. As soon as I came back home, I did a simple Google research "Vivobarefoot smell" and obviously other unhappy customers had written reviews before me. I'm really hoping this new pair won't give me any problem because I want to love my Vivobarefoot.

Probably decent products but customer service is awful. I bough a pair of shoes recommended by a sales person in store. After few runs I realised the insoles are sliding out during runs. Customer service suggested I buy some other insoles. Not good enough for 120£ pair of shoes that promote benefits of design

Came all this way and the ship was closed down. A notice on the website would've been pretty easy to put up. Will change the review if my experience changes

Went in and asked to try them on. The guy gave me space to try them on on my own but still checked I was ok and the fit was good. I even asked why I can find them cheeper online from other stores and he told me sometimes they sell the old make and told me how to distinguish the 2. Then gave me the advice that if I see the new pair cheeper I should get them. Really great experience.

Promising shoes. Reluctant staff and disappointing air of elitism. Once I finally managed to divert somebody's attention from the spirited staff socialising that was going on by the counter, I was granted a several minute lecture by a male attendant / manager on how my 3 years of practice training in zero-drop Altras is worthless in terms of being any reasonable introduction to barefoot style running at all, and that I would probably die or my feet would super-implode if I dare tried to run in the miraculous foot-to-the-floor phenomena that are Vivobarefoot running shoes. Oh and the fact that I "hadn't even" had my running form professionally GAIT analysed before was apparently another notch against my qualification.. Here's a hint Vivobarefoot "Experience" team UK: you can develop a strong and authentic barefoot running customer following without stonewalling people who are not quite fully seasoned webbed-footed primal-eating trail-running cavemen, but who still have the genuine interest, ability and drive to try and progress themselves towards the same goal - AT THEIR OWN PACE. Get over yourselves and try and do your (probably genuinely good and innovative) shoes and the barefoot running 'world' as a whole a service instead.

Love Vivo barefoots but they really have to be tried on in a shop as they vary so much in size, varying widths and lengths are a major problem. The store could be made a lot more comfortable and the staff more helpful.

I have been wearing minimal shoes for the last 5 years now of which the last few years mainly on Vivobarefoots. I have gone from two pairs of Dalstons to a Gobi to a Scott. Recently my pair of Gobi started showing tears in it's puncture proof sole. Since I had previously not had any such issues (my Dalstons were worn until there was no sole left to puncture) I assumed it would be a one off error. In the shop I was told this is due to me using the shoes on my bike and that any Vivo shoes would have the same issue. I advice people who cycle to not buy these shoes as puncture resistent does not mean resistent to flat pedals on a commuting bike. As I use my bike daily I will not buy shoes here again.

Not impressed with the quality of their shoes. Bought 4 pairs and they are all showing signs of poor workmanship or quality of materials. A leather pair noticeably stained socks within minutes of putting them on and these were brown socks so quite a lot of dye leeching out. Soles of another so thin around the edge that you can see through them to the insole. I expect the sole to fail fairly quickly on these ones. Another pair marked with black marks (probably the cheap dye from another pair in the factory) For shoes that cost in excess of £100 a pair they really need to put some effort into at least attempting some value for money. Perhaps the made in China policy needs reviewing. I probably should have been put off by the person in the shop complaining about their shoes breaking and having to be replaced repeatedly.
