I understand that the pandemic has caused problems but these two surgeries were just as bad before. They clearly have ONLY ONE PERSON in answering the phone hence the time it takes to answer the calls. I have never heard of such incompetence or ever been caller 47 in the queue with any other company. If they read their reviews they would make improvements but they just don't care. They don't even deserve the one star I have given but ZERO star option is not available

This has got to be the most useless medical surgery ever in the UK. My wife has to speak to the GPS and yesterday she started ringing at 8am. She was on the phone for 2 hours when she reached No 2 she got cut off. Today she was on the phone for 2 hours 4min and she reached No 1in the queue when she got cut off. I have seen the GP going home at 3pm, 4pm. The GPs don't really care about their patients nor does the receptionist. After being treated like this when you start getting annoyed they cut you off or don't speak to you if you go personally saying they won't tolerate verbal or physical abuse. The doctor was supposed to ring yesterday which he didn't then they said he will ring today which he didn't. Surely they can't be that busy!

What is going on at this surgery, gp wanted me to book a blood test in April, I have called everyday for the pasted 4weeks now, I have been 26, 38 ,24, 29, 37th (and so on) in the queue every single day. Why can you not get someone to answer the phone, absolutely ridiculous. You can't go to surgery so WHAT the hell are we suppose to do.

It is very difficult to make an appointment i was 31st in queue took me 1hour and 24 minutes to get through i dont understand why we have to hold phone so long. Online booking was not available. I think they needs to really understand and value people's time. Crazy... ... feel so bad when you really wants to speak to your GP and you gave to go through this !!!

Over the last few months I have had real bad experience with getting through to the surgery. Waiting queues up to 37 before you. If you are a working person how can you afford to wait nearly one and half hour to get through. On top of all that you can't even talk to the GP. A person can even be dead before they get to see a GP if they suffer with heart condition. Why is this surgery still operating.

Husband tried to call this place was 23rd in the queue once got to the 6th they hung up on him and then he called back he got through however the receptionist answered once “hello” and my husband said hello and they just hung up again! Absolutely shocking - I will be making a complaint to nhs England. If hospitals are working tirelessly with more work then why changed for the gp practices. They have a duty of care to their patients and are negligent. Literally shocking and angry as he is poorly and need to speak to a doctor. We waited 1 hr and 40 Minutes to be hung up twice on. If people want to complain please contact NHS England.

Two days in a row now... 3 times I’ve been on hold for more then an hour. To get to 1st in the queue and then they put the phone down. It’s an absolute joke. Appalling service and I will be changing doctors for my mum. She’s 62 and has Heath issues.

I wish I could give a 0 star review. PLEASE AVOIDE THIS PRACTICE. Their staff is useless as well as their GP. The reception is apparently always full, I wonder who calls this useless place to book appointments. I have been trying 3 days to book an appointment for my parents but the line is always full. I have seen the people working in the reception, they hardly every pick up the phone, it is always ringing. Please do yourself a favour and register yourself at a better practice.

Shockingly bad as all the other reviews show. I have been calling on my Mum's behalf, was 23rd in the queue, waited 29 mins and as soon as it connected, someone cut me off. I am now queueing again and 26th in the queue. This is ridiculous for a GP surgery! Update 1 April 2021: 30th in queue and 53 minutes later and I am only 15th in queue. Get more staff on the phones please!

Terrible treatment of elderly patients, Covid is no excuse, it's as if they hope the elderly will die before they have to bother with them. No one should be waiting longer than 10 minutes on the phone.

Absolutely appalling service from receptionist every single time. I don't know who hires there staff but rude and unhelpful must be in the candidate requirement to get a job as a receptionist here, can't ever get anywhere with them. I work for the NHS too and honestly these people are an embarrassment to the service.

Absolutely dreadful service. Terrible that they do not operate a queueing system on phone. Recorded message which says do not come into practice to make appointments and to use phone and you can never get through, automatically cuts you straight off. Very bad for the elderly to have to cope with this, needs to be addressed.

Apart from some Doctors whole practice is going downhill. Letters to the doctors lose their way and end up in bins. Telephone appointments are not processed and you have to rebook it again which can be anywhere between one to two weeks later. Of this you will be informed very rudely. Anything can happen to the patient during that time it doesn't concern the surgery. Pathetic management of the surgery.......

i am really surprised that this practice is still open. Given one star as they never have any appointments. they hardly answer their phone which is usually after 11am. People Que there before they even open to get appointments. their midwife is rude. Seems they have no code of conduct to follow. looking in to change. have waited for 2 years but its getting worse.

Just as many people have said, I can’t believe the place is still allowed to still be practicing. The worst thing is about it is they will make mistakes, say they are writing referrals etc (months later you’ll find out they haven’t done anything) then they’ll be rude to you! How can you be bad at your job, make constant mistakes, then have the nerve to be rude to people because of your own incompetence.

We (me and my mum) join a few years ago and thought that it was a upgrade from our old one but believe me it’s just got worse over the years to the point my mum had a stroke and tried to get an appointment but was denied to the point her partner had to threaten them with a law suit if they don’t give her an appointment and then they miraculously had an appointment for her and I call a lot because I have a weak immune system and am often sick so I’m in there and recently my mum will be on the phone for hours trying to book me an appointment. However they do have one thing that’s good and that’s dr Dinah he’s the only one that listens and does everything I’m lucky he’s my doctor and not one of the others. Another good thing is the nurses as they are ever so kind and their bloods never hurt and they get it over and done with unlike the hospital where I feel like I’m being poked at and end up with bruises

If I could give it a 0 star I would rather than a 1 star. Poor staffing, poor customer service. I thankfully am not registered with Manor medical but my parents and grandmother are so I have to always call to arrange appointments on their behalf but can never get through and usually after a few hours of trying no appointments. ANYONE WHO NEEDS TO SEE A DOCTOR JUST GO TO THE WALK IN AND WAIT FOR AN HOUR..... IT WILL BE QUICKER .

I have always found this medical centre and staff to be most helpful. Trying to get through on the phone is a challenge I admit. Fortunately, the location is within close proximity so I drive there to take care of prescriptions, appointments and phonecalls from the doctor. It is my mum’s medical centre and I have no complaints about their treatment of her, which is a considerable improvement on her previous doctors surgery.

Awful practise and awful staff. My pregnant partner was booked In for her jabs, she phoned twice to check appointment on the morning, no answer, she turns up on time only to be told it's been cancelled. No effort has been made to rearrange she was just told sorry. This medical practice is disgraceful. Would like to add they never ever answer the phone and trying to book an appointment is near on impossible......all who work there should be ashamed of themselves. Disgusted.

I had to wait one month for an appointment. Different Dr didnt care just sent email to hospital and tried to get me out room in less than 5 minutes. My proper hospital appointment will be in the next 3 months! I will be much worse by then unless i go private which is £3000 plus.Ive been at this practice for 10 years but now will leave.

Been with practice over 15 years it used to be very good but gradually going down. But in last year a so it's so bad you can't get appointment, last three times I be tried to ring for 2/3 Hours to get though, when you do they put you on hold only to cut you off.

The Service is poor and pathetic. Dont wanna explain much because most of the reviews are bad anyway. Staffs are really rude and some of the doctors as well. Been going to this Medical Centre for years and day by day its getting worse to awful.

In UK I hope this is a very poor service Medical Centre. Very hard to get an appointment. When I call to get an appointment off peak or peak hours from 8am very hard to catch the staff. Sometime I wait nearly half an hour over the phone, then they answer the call and they say there is no appointment available. Especially they say one day, they don't have doctors to have a look under 2 years old babies. Because I always tried to get an appointment for my baby, she's 1/2 years old. I'm very disappointed their service. Probably I am going to change the centre soon.

I hate Manor Medical & the owners, they force us to call, force us to listen to 2 mins message, just to say too busy, then cut us iff. The worst reception in the world... I called today for an emergency appointment (note it was an emergency). The reception told me that she doesn't have any appointments whatsoever!!! Welcome to NHS 2018 So I explained my situation and I asked her what can I do, she said: "go to a walk in centre, there is one in Loughborough or oadby, I don't know address, but if you Google it, it will tell you" :-((((( Googled it, 16 places came up, but I'm not sure which would help me!! I'm so sad :-((( my GP is no longer a GP. NHS sinking, someone help them please 999 or 111 I don't know

Possibly the worse telephone service ever, they don't put you in a queue like a normal place, you have to ring and ring just to get in a queue... Its madness and by the time you get through there are no appointments left... Would not reccommend this place.. Once you get an appointment the doctors are mixed, Dr Sinhir is the best, takes his time and you don't feel like your being rushed unlike some of the other doctors.
