This morning my husband and myself have received our second covoid vaccination at this surgery. We found the staff to be exceptionally polite, efficient and only to willing to answer any Questions people had. We cannot praise them enough and would advise anyone unsure about attending to not hesitate.

5 star rating from here, went covid19 vaccination and did not feel a thing, about mid afternoon felt nausea and had a bit of headache then had a sleep feeling loads better, arm aches but on that very grateful to get it, see you the 5th of june 2020.

The compassion and patience shown by the reception staff and doctors at Fosse Medical Centre is something I’ve never experienced before at a medical practise. A perfect example of how things should be done; they talk to you and each other with genuine kindness, and they get the job done - no messing around.

Would have given 0 stars if I could. Receptionists are so rude and condescending especially towards myself who is disabled and have just moved to the area.Was going to register there but thanks to their attitudes I went elsewhere.

I have my flu vaccination on the 26th september both doctors had PPE receptionist both masked and social distancing patients masked and social distancing one way inand out I felt very safe, receptionist very helpful when I phone, make's me feel like they have time for me I'm not just a number another OAP.

It’s like with all of the GP I been around, sometimes good sometimes bad, but most of the time I’ve got brilliant service and help. It all starts with you being kind and polite on the phone I believe.

Recently I had an experience with one of their doctors, who seems to see everything in pink, and based on his recommendations... my arms are numb because of stress, tinitus is something you can treat online (I know there is no cure for it), pain is always treatable with ibuprofen without further investigation, appointments are cancelled at their discretion, long waiting times, weird entries in medical history... not all the same... very poor quality of medical service. Looking to leave for a better experience.

Not worth one star. Mixed up my medical notes with another patient of the same name but 10 years older. Because of this called me urgently into surgery twice, meaning unnecessary worry and time off work, only to ask me why I was there! Treated me inappropriately at appointments because my namesake has mental health problems. Asked me how my asthma was - I've never had asthma. When I spotted the mistake Dr (Mrs) Sharma showed me the other patients medical notes in an attempt to explain!. Massive data protection breach. Failed to diagnose diabetes, TB, stomach and lung cancer in my partner despite numerous appontments. When he complained of chest pains he was told he could go to A & E 'if he wanted'. He was having a heart attack. Dr Gopal Sharma was glib and offhand with my dying partner joking with him that he was a 'walking medical textbook mate'. Constantly messed up his prescriptions which only added to stress of coping with terminal diagnosis. Terrible practice, not even worth one star but can't give zero.

Nightmare to get hold of them, they never answer the phone , pretend to be busy but when you walk in there, it is practically empty. No respect for patients time as it is ridiculous to call 100 times with no luck , having an appointment is an impossible mission. Get more staff and get an answer machine . My ears are still hurting from the busy ring tone after trying to get hold of the reception and 42 calls failed . What a nightmare . If someone makes calls to the practice to book an appointment, s/he gets a tingling ears , a headache and depressing but certainly not an answer.

Do they read these reviews? Because nothing changes. Been with this surgery for just over a year, dr Matthew is abrupt and doesn't listen, receptionist with blonde hair is rude and makes you feel like you're annoying her by wanting an appointment or information. Not one person at the surgery has read my notes and don't know anything about me or my condition, I'm changing doctors! Because there is nothing personal about going here, how hard is it to read a computer screen and find out about the patient!!

Some receptionist made fun of my look twice (not friendly at all). Very good at appointments times. Good GPs in General. Dr "Mathew" is not very cooperative but has good knowledge. Although I didn't like him at all, he is just OK.

I had to go to this surgery for a medical assessment for work. Dr Sharma was very patient and kind to me and the subsequent report I received from him was very thorough. If I lived this side of town I would have no hesitation in going to this surgery when needed.

I went to the hospital as I’m pregnant and I was feeling a lot of pain so 111 told me to go to the hospital emergency when I got there they tested me and found blood in my urine I waited for 7 hours to be seen because it was very busy my son was at home with the nanny and she said she needed to leave so had to go But I was advices to go see my doctor when I went to the doctor I was seen by dr g sharma soon as I walked in i explained what happen at the hospital and she told me to go back to the hospital and said what do u want me to do?!! She was very rude I asked her to do another sample of my urine and she said well go get a urine bottle from reception I was disgusted of the way she was speaking to me I went and got the bottle and gave her the bottle she was very rude again and she raised her tone and “said open the bottle”!! She didn’t use gloves to check the urine and picked the bottle up with her bare hand she didn’t even check my stomach after I told her I was in pain this is not the first time I have issues with this surgery but my complaints always goes un noticed

We all get frustrated when getting an appointment for the Dentist, Hospital and Doctors it is just how it is now, but I have to say my dealing with Fosse Medical have been 5* the reception staff have always been helpful with first class treatment from the Doctors and practice nurses. Don't want to say to much as everyone will want to become a patient of Fosse Medical. I think this doctors practice is a very valuable part of our LE3 district long may it continue. Thank You

Been there 4 years. Reception staff seem like you are are annoying them by being there. Appointment cancelled too many times. They cancelled a hospital appointment and they still wont tell me why! Stomach pains 2 years and counting!! A vet could do better. Time to find someone else.

First time registering with this practice, I didn't hear my name called twice, was nervous Saw GP on time, can't remember his name think it was Dr John Gp I saw made me feel reassured when I spoke with regards delicate matter. Felt my needs where met and was given assistance i felt i needed, Gp telephoned on my behalf, made enquiry and arranged the appointment. If he didn't do this I'd hate to think what would happen. I Would be very happy to see this Dr again Thank you for your support,

Ladies on reception are rude specially the blond one, she is the most rude person, she don't know anything about being receptionist in gp, she looks like she don't care about anyone who came and need help, her facial expressions showing you clearly that she don't give a f*** about anything, every time when someone from my friends or anyone came and ask for appointment for something, she says that you don't need appointment even when you in pain!!! That's stupid and none professional at all! I don't like coming to gp when she is there seriously!

Only because i cant give it a zero rang in the morning for an appointment all gone call in agternoon so i rang again at half one called over 100 times with line busy finally got through and all afternoon appointments gone What a joke of a system this is i might just sit here and die it will be less painful
