I wonder how this place is still part of NHS???? very bad service, they basically don't care about anything ....even calling them is difficult as nobody answers the phone, and when they do they talk you down and try to get rid of you as soon as possible.

This is the worst experience I ever had, extremely rude Receptionists and don’t listen to the patients who call to book an appointment . I waste my 1 hour in try to figure out about appointment on call . I was trying to get appointment since a month and when I got appointment they didn't listened my problems. And the main part is they just hang up the call by telling me that we are very busy at the moment, I was like how can someone talk with people like that on a call . When you call them and they couldn't find your record, They will just say you have to call up stairs . Its worthless to book appointment on call .

RUDE RECEPTIONIST THAT WORK HERE !!!! also very upset that I have been told I need iron tablets by my midwife being 29 weeks pregnant and the doctor is refusing to give me them!!! Also my partner has been left without tablets even after ordering them several times! This is very dangerous and potentially life threatening as he has dvt. This place should be shut down. Absolute embarrassment to the health care in Leicester. Currently looking for a new surgery where they actually care about there patients!

What the other reviews say IS 100000% true. This is THE worst place to bring ur health concerns. My appointment was rushed like the doctor had more important places to be even though no one else was here it was about 9:20 pm and they close at 10pm. I was sent here by 111 for an urgent coil check as I had been bleeding. The doctor seemed very confused that I had been sent there in the first place which was weird, surely I wouldn’t be sent there if they did not offer such services. On to checking the coil the doctor asked if I wanted a chaperone and I said no and she said okay that’s fine, it’s just protocol to ask. And then she asked me to undress and lie down, and then went out to call on the receptionist to come into the room and “help” her to point the light to where she was looking at and even showed her my coil?! Mind you it’s a surgical lamp with adjustable limbs that can be positioned to how you need it in whatever procedure so this was absolutely unnecessary. Then the doctor said to get dressed and she and receptionist began tidying the area and having a conversation and then turned around and said “come on get dressed” and I was like can you give me some privacy please” and the receptionist gave a huff and walked out. She basically sent me home and said u’re okay. My appointment took all of 5 minutes. Results weren’t discussed with me, privacy was not respected.

7 minutes ago I only rated this surgery 1 star, as I had to, to leave a review. So really I rate it ZERO Star’s. I was with this surgery since birth, which is 3 decades. However over the years, the care has just gone downhill. This has now become serious. I have a few health conditions. I turned to the surgery 19 months ago, when I noticed I was loosing weight without trying to. Me & my family members were told every few weeks that I had been referred to a emergency dietician. I was fobbed off as if nothing was really serious. Yes - I got upset as a mother of 2 young children. Not long after, during the pandemic I received a letter to say, they had basically took me off their patient list & to find another surgery. All my private consultants were disgusted & rallied around me during these difficult times. I spoke to my current surgery Johnson’s Medical Centre & within days they added me to their list & started my medication. During these few days, I turned to private care at Spire to get to the bottom of my sickness weight loss ASAP. That’s when our world came crumbling down, when my family & I was told by one of the leading gastro professors, that I wasn’t just a little poorly, I was actually classed a critical patient, with the amount of weight I had lost. In shock that I hadn’t heard from a emergency dietician, Spire immediately contacted the dieticians department. Who then stated they’d never had a GP referral from Highfeilds or Belgrave Medical Centre & they also provided a formal letter on this. As when they heard about my struggle, they knew this was now life threatening & they were not willing to take false accountability on the surgeries behalf - packed with lies. With no time to waste, as my weight loss was severe. In 2 days I was in ITU Theatre having 3 operations back to back at the same time. Not knowing what they will find when they went inside me. I now have a PEG (feeding tube) as I have malnourished so much, this is the only hope left to save my life - to try control my sickness & put supplements & fluids through the feeding tube. Due to the wait Highfeilds medical centre put me through, my health has severely deteriorated & now I’am on full bed rest, also under the care of LOROS Hospice. As we just don’t know what way my health may swing. I’m sharing a brief of my story, not for myself, but I feel I owe it to all the other patients who may also make excuses for the surgery out of loyalty. So I guess the bottom line is. Don’t make the same mistake as I made, by staying with or enrolling to become a patient here. As it may cost you, your life. My 12 year old son & 8 year old daughter, find themselves in a situation not knowing if their Mummy will die or not. My children hug & kiss me every night, as if it maybe their last time. Not knowing if mummy will still be alive in the morning when they wake up. No one should have to go through this & no surgery should support such injustice. No doctors should lie, time & time again. I count my blessings to still be alive today, because if I still stayed with Highfeilds medical centre - Professors simply told us, I would of died in matters of days. The pressure on my organs was way too much for my body to handle. I’m so lucky to now have a great team around me. My consultants have helped me to gather all evidence of negligence & like I said as a law abiding citizen, I owe the truth to the people of this country. When this horrific ordeal we are facing is published, I will for sure leave details on here to what platforms & papers you’ll be able to have a full honest read - with Proof. Stay Safe People & don’t be fooled by this surgery’s fake ethos that they don’t even follow themselves. This also goes for their sister surgery... Belgrave Medical Centre! Stay away from both. Stay Away - To Save Your Life. These 2 surgeries are just as deadly as COVID-19 if not worse!

Worst surgery ever!!! Doctors are useless you have to beg to get an appointment then when doctor speaks to you they are so good at fobbing ill patients off would love to opt out paying my taxes to pay their wealthy wages! We come with a problem they don't give two flying pancakes if it was their family it would be priority I had a doctor hanging up to me in the middle of an conversation because I wanted to see a doctor been referred by a specialist stating I need to see a GP in person and because I requested to see a GP as I have been told so by manish patel to take anti biotics over the phone without seeing me and stating if that doesn't work I would need to take something else.. the specialist told me i would need drops for the infection... why not see me and prescribe me the right medicine in the first place???? Treat patients how you want to be treated or your family would love to be treated utterly rubbish GPs in this surgery not the first encounter even doctor KHOKHA doesn't have any KHOKHAS in his brains had to beg him to get blood test was refusing me to have one and been advising me to take over the counter multivitamins after requesting to have b12 blood test he was still refusing... after 10 mins he agreed after results I was b12 deficiency and had to take 3 injections within 2 weeks what a joke!!!!!!! I hope you all get your fruits you deserve well done ???? ✔ you have accomplished not doing your jobs again! Wake up and SAVE LIVES thats your jobs right????

Receptionists are extremely rude and don’t listen to the patients who call to book an appointment. When call at 1pm according to them they don’t pick up the call. No appointment,rude receptionist, they think that they own this place.was told was urgent by 111 staff. This is the most ridiculous clinics i have ever been to.Appointment seystem is terrible they tell you to call 8am or 1 pm for an appointment but their telephone line is always busy.

This is one of the most ridiculous clinics i have ever been to. Receptionists are extremely rude and don’t listen to the patients who call to book an appointment. When call at 1pm according to them they don’t pick up the call. I will definitely complaint about them to the higher level. Worst place to sort out your issue.

I sat in the waiting area and watched a lady receptionist have a facetime conversation she had people waiting and didn't even notice. I said excuse me to my child who I was talking to she thought I was talking to her and quickly dropped her phone in her bag.

The service here is ridiculous. I'm currently in the waiting room, waiting to be seen. My appointment was half an hour ago, yet I'm still waiting to be seen. The receptionist never seems to understand - even though I try speak to her in 2 different languages. Would definitely advise people to look elsewhere!

This is probably the worst admin service I've received. I called in for my other half as she has a very high fever which needs medical attention. We were told (by 111) to contact the hub which wasn't live until 6.30pm. After calling Brandon street, the admin rudely answered the phone and raised her voice when she simply could've said the hub opens at 6.30. Not to mention she didn't say bye. I'd rather the doctors at this surgery not get bad feedback, as it's the admin team which is letting the service down. Further training is definitely required before putting them directly on the phones. Hopefully I get the chance to escalate this issue past the surgery.

Was waiting almost 45 minutes and then was called in. The Dr made a comment saying "you're late" to me. I had been waiting for ages... The receptionist hadn't even marked me as arrived because she was too busy on the phone! Attended for an appointment for my problem, which I was told was urgent by 111 staff, and this Dr was useless. Regurgitated information to me which I already knew, gave no treatment options and told me to go back to my gp as this was an 'out of hours service.' The reason I attended for an appointment at this surgery was because my gp was full and I needed medical attention OUT OF HOURS (which I never received)! It's a never ending cycle. Ridiculous. Never coming here again honestly. I got better information off Google!!!!

Unless I wanted to go to merlin Vaz Heath centre .. which is not my surgery . too see a doctor it’s like impossible ,your told to phone early but you still don’t get appointment ... looking to find new GP

So I am registered with Dr. Gandecha Surgery which now comes under Dr. R Kapur. Recently My Mom ( an athristis patient) had an appointment with the nurse for flu jab. We waited for 30 minutes. More ten minutes passed and we lost our patience. We were told by the receptionist that the nurse is busy with her senior and so we left the surgery after waiting for 40 minutes. It was pathetic how they don't care about the patient and not following the appoitment timing given to them. My mom was also refused for her travelling Jab saying they are full and was also told to otherwise look for private one or another nhs GP surgery. How nice of her to not give a damn about their patients.

I can't understand does it required for the receptionist to being samn rude to get this job it is bloody every where now especially asian surgeries they don't respect how they expect respect and when ever u call they are fully booked it's different story there will be no one at all some time in the surgery I think they are getting enough money without seeing any patient so they try kick out every one. But they should bare that in mind no one willing to come there unless urgent.

Surgery opens at 9 am but they tell us to call at 8 am for appointment..i have made several calls upto now but line remains engaged..and when you go to the surgery to make appointment manager says you call next day at 8 am to make appountment..and cycle continues until you end up going to A&E..
