2 weeks I'm been calling reception from 8am..and they fully booked..can't get blood test .I have hashimoto and need my tablets but they don't care about patients at all!!!

I have reviewed this surgery before and given a much lower score. I felt I needed to update my review as I have seen some improvements. The reception staff are vastly improved and the individuals currently on the front desk are on the whole helpful and empathetic contrary to my previous post. The Doctors do a difficult job and although I occasionally have issues on the whole I have no great complaint at this time. I believe the surgery has on the whole improved and hope that it continues to do so in the future, credit where credit is due

This surgery is an absolute waste of time. I was on the phone for 25mins 15secs today and all it kept saying was your in a queue please hold the line, I then decided to walk over to the surgery with my phone still ringing to see what was going on only to find it was shut at 1pm for staff training WHY couldn't that have been said at the beginning it's hard enough now to get an appt when you work. Why couldn't it have been switched through to Birstall and I know the answer to that as I tried to give them a call and guess what no one answered the phones there. This must be the worst surgery us at Botder Drive dont get much of a service is this because we don't live at Birstall. Disgraceful

Only giving this surgery ones star as I have no choice. Probably one of the worst surgeries I have ever encountered. Avoid at all costs.
I contacted the surgery regarding my sons one year immunisations that I rescheduled almost a month ago.
The response I received was absolutely disgusting as I was told that “I could not be bothered to bring my child to the first appointment so I need to wait and a letter will be sent”.
The receptionists are extremely rude, unwilling to listen or help and as well as being very demeaning. Seems like they are very eager to hang up the phone without any resolution.
Honestly something needs to be done about them. As of today, I am removing my child and myself from this surgery!!!

Horrible customer service. Whenever I call I speak to the rudest lady on the reception, she is condescending and has hung up on me multiple times. I will not be using this doctors again and would advise others to think twice before registering here.

Worse surgery ever never answered the phone and very rude. When requested a repeat prescription it takes forever, need to chase it up 2 to 3 times sometimes takes over three weeks. When call for an appointment don’t have any and telling us to call morning 8am when we try to call 8am phone lines busy. When we got through after trying for hours then says sorry all the appointments are gone.

I was a patient b4 Dr Shergal took it over from Dr Hardcastle, I'd been a patient for 15 years then it was taken over and within a couple of years I was told I'd have to find a new surgery as I cost too much... Dont go there if you have a choice, Dr's r not that bothered, receptionist's r even worse, u have to get thru them 1st if you want to see anyone n that's if there's anyone sitting. I was happy to leave.

Two stars only because of the doctor ..the european receptionist is rude, racist.. has no manners and not professional at all.. wife is pregnant so had to register in this surgery.. i personally wouldnt even want this disgusting lady looking at my baby..????????????i really hope you take all the reviews in to consideration and give her the suitable training so she can atleast speak with abit of respect towards the patients... still makes me laugh how she told us to sign the organ doner section twice instead of where our signatures go..haha dont know wether to get offended as we are brown and she thought we dont know how to read or maybe shes just an idiot..i would have sacked by now if it was my surgery..thats the first point of contact for everyone..its giving the surgery a bad reputation..

This has to be the WORST doctors surgery I have ever known in my life! They tell you that you have to phone at 8am to book an appointment yet there's a idiotic automated voice that says "call cannot be taken" please try again.. trying to phone for an HOUR to only be told all the morning appointments have been taken and have to ring back at 1pm.. talk about taking the piss! The doctors are rude and the receptionists are hardly helpful either! I will be making a complaint and changing surgery! I'm not surprised this surgery has more than 1 star ratings than 5 star.. it's ridiculous

Only gave 1 star as no option to give none.
The receptionists have no apparent customer service training and are rude and blunt... a message left on my answer phone, "call this number before 11".. (no mention of who the message was for or from) I googled the number as it was an 0844 number and not the number that I have for the surgery, called the surgery at 10:05, to be told I needed to see a Dr and to call back at 1pm to book an appt!! I did ask why I couldn't just book an appt there and then and the receptionist could only answer with, it's our system.
One morning that sticks in mind, I had a 08:30 appt, (which is the 1st am appt) whilst I was waiting in an empty waiting room an elderly man came in and asked to see a Dr, the receptionist told him there were no appointments available and he would have to go to the A&E. I sat until 08:40 to see the Dr, and no one else came into the surgery. Had the Dr seen me at 08:30, he could have seen the gentleman at 08:40!! And kept the pressure off the A&E!
Easier to say the NHS is in a mess and sell off to private investors, than to just knuckle down and provide a service that we should aim to keep hold of.
