Great store, not sure about the staff, they look miserable.

It is what it is. I would say though the layout is all over the place

Sainsbury's is one of my favourite supermarkets. The quality of their goods far exceeds that of Co-op or Tesco's. Co-ops goods go bad too quickly and Tesco products are of very poor quality.

It's a perfectly good Sainsbury, the staff are friendly and helpful. There's been quite a few times that it's late opening time in the morning has meant I've not been able to get what I need. For a city centre store, the opening hours are too short.

One of the biggest supermarkets in Central Brighton, always stocked up. Not too bad for queues either

I empathise with staff members having to work through such a challenging period and do not blame them, but there's been very lax mask enforcement or social distancing here. There hasn't been a single occasion shopping in this store since March 2019 when I've felt completely safe - of course appreciating that I may be more concerned about this than others might be. Very frustrating as in my experience some Sainsbury's delivery drivers have been maskless and not keeping a reasonable distance too.

With post tax profits of £152m and a third of food wasted. Sainsbury's prices for fruit and veg are exorbitant. Food is a tax on the poor it should be a third cheaper. And theyd still have money in the bank jesus came to serve not to be served the supermarkets should be serving its people and making life easier on people's pockets not harder. It was all right as always but quite busy and it is a bit annoying to be waiting out in the rain. I mean first of all, inside the shop none really cares about social distance and second we should be avoiding to get sick with this virus going around, so by making people wait out in the rain its not ideal. I also understand that it's quite difficult to keep a perfect service during this difficult times and I'm very thankful and grateful that they're open and working so hard for us customers ???? ???? ???? but about this waiting in the queue when raining and cold well its not again ideal. Maybe each supermarket should provide a sheltered sort of thing for customers waiting in the queue to get in the shop?? Have a great day ????

It's ok, have never found the Brighton one as good as the early London ones but good healthy grub on the go.

Really impressed with staff ensuring masks are worn and not allowing groups to shop. I know some shoppers were not happy about it, but I really appreciate making it safer for us to shop.

Worst experience ever of shopping while in Covid. No social distancing isle by flowers everyone squeezing past including staff rubbing against my back to get past me and I’m not big.. What’s the point of doing all the checks before entering the shop!! Horrible experience. Told security guys outside they did nothing. I will not be shopping with you ever again. If I contract Covid you will be hearing from me further. You are meant to provide aisle routes for people to safely distance. You owe your customers this assurance that you will provide safe shopping that follows government guidelines. There’s always those who don’t care at all. It’s up to Sainsburys to make it work better grrr

Decent and reasonably well stocked local full-size supermarket. Opening hours are a little limited but perfect for city centre residents within walking distance. Has a car park in the basement

My visit Sainsbury's is as always good but the lady on the door is very abrupt with people especially disabled people in that have to use a scooter and at the tills I can't fit my scooter down them any more they need to be wider please as find it hard on the self serve tills as I struggle to twist my back , but keep up with the good work as I and others really appreciate what you are doing kind regards Mr T Hills .

This is quite a good midsized store. It has most of what you want and the underground carpark is a bonus.

Not been in a sainsburys supermarket for a long time, very close to my workplace but rarely visit. This sainsburys is always useful for me when I do use it and this time was no exception.. I needed to be quick as was due a shift so was pleased when I could simply get what I wanted very quickly, pay and then depart... That and doing their best with covid details too, a good visit..

All members of the Staff have always given me time when I have had a query or cannot find a product, for a big Store there is a regular amount of long serving staff on the floor and usually get a hello, as big stores go, great.

Great selection of products and good prices. Plenty of self-checkout tills and personnel available to help. There is parking. There is also a very convenient pick-up point for parcels and AtM. The only downside is that they close quite early at 5pm on Sundays and 8pm the rest of the week.

I only went here to park. I bought some very expensive Christmas cards. I don't use Sainsburys. The car park is not on Google maps so was difficult to find.

I would have loved to give this store five stars, staff are always lovely, everything good quality and reasonable prices. Love the new policy with only reusable net bags for fruit and veg. What let's this store down, big time, is that the fruit and vegetable shelves are always half empty. No matter what day or time... was contemplating giving the store only 3 stars because of this, but everything else is great. And they stock a really nice alcohol free cider

The hill if your walking is very steep. That is the only downfall to this Sainsbury’s is it’s geographical location.
