Plenty of essentials but feels like it should have more home or entertainment lines for a store of this size. Nice seasonal area with gift ideas. Good mix of checkouts, have never had to wait too long to pay.

Ok they sell food that you mostly have to cook yourself. On the supermarket scale there above tesco but below Waitrose.

Easy to get to and loads of parking, plus now it's had a makeover they sell amazing sushi stuff as well as groceries, clothes and the cafe. It's also pretty handy as there's an argos in store, as well as a Timpsons cabin in the car park which cuts keys and doors passport photos. And you can get some petrol on your way out too

Great selection of everything. They have all sorts of herbs and spices, including lemongrass, Thai basil, baby spinach.Theey definitely have a great variety of meat andrJUST COOK ready meal in super affordable price, and my favourite are roast lamb and gammon shank. I would say it is compatible with ASDA but with greater selection of specific items. It is one of my favourite place to visit every 2 weeks. It is located just 5mins staircase walk from the train station. If you have an Argos card, you are eligible to purchase the items by credit and pay the full amount within a certain number of days which is very convenient. They offer very good delivery service too!

Alright if you live near this store just of London road. Otherwise to much of a steep hill to climb alright coming down the hill as long as your not carrying shopping

Great Central supermarket. Fantastic to here the Greens put a stop to a competing Tesco props Al - no thanks and no need. Lovely staff here. They appreciate the locals :)

Really like this Sainsbo's. The staff are friendly and helpful, lots of veggie and vegan options and if you don't mind looking around, some (just some!) of the products are competitively priced for the area. For a town centre supermarket, there is a good range of stock, due to its decent size. At the times I've been, it's not felt too full of people, but I do avoid peak shopping times! The loos are ok, and there's also plenty of benches and palaces to sit outside the main entrance. Perfect for when you just have to open a newly purchased tasty treat.

Usual Sainsburys schmutter. Wifi doesn't work.
Why is the veggie/vegan section only half of one side of an aisle. And it's always half empty!
Same w/o the the Quorn freezer section. Nearly always empty.

Big store with parking (free for customers) and wheelchair access. Customer toilets. Cash machines. 2 mins from Brighton Station and London Road shops.

Shelves always bare after the rush hour. Be careful to check the expiry date on the package. Would welcome a later closing time a couple of times a week with longer opening times on Sundays.

A solid supermarket, offering a larger range of everyday essentials as well as homeware and clothes than Waitrose across the road. They have some excellent deals going and generally service is quick and efficient. Great for the weekly shop.
