Good value for money for good quality products. I got a birthday treat today and it was gorgeous! Morello cherry bakewell tart warm from the oven served with clotted cream. Wow!!!

I find it a tad difficult to navigate and find what I'm looking for. Too often they don't have what I need in stock unfortunately. Very interesting place to look around if needing odd bits and bobs. Staff are always super helpful and friendly.

People still trying to get in the store with no masks, also see adults going in together. I can understand children with mothers but not groups of students, couples.
The stores selfves are well stocked the the staff are doing there level best to keep them full.

I would give this place 5 out of 5 for quality and price if it wasn't for the low rent chavtastic store detectives and 'nervous' jittery staff. Now don't get me wrong, if it's going to be a pretty 'single mum' following me around holding a tin of tuna and a packet of pasta I'm all for it. But the fuax builder carrying a handful of Rustlers or the 'lanky tap dancing shelf stacker', suddenly feeling up the produce next to you whilst your browsing are as welcome as bowel cancer.

Having to find a pound coin to put in a trolley during a pandemic is unrealistic and too much hassle. Tesco trolleys are lock free and easily accessible to everyone. Plus Tesco have a cleaning station besides the trolleys so they can be disinfected.

Good produce for a good value but the parking can be a nightmare and rushed checkout nature can make you feel anxious in an already strange time. They tell you to pack your shopping at the counter but I never see anybody wiping down the counters or leaving spray for you to do it yourself. Xxx

The social distancing measures in this store are inadequate if you ask me, but marginally better then the London Road store. But why not treat yourself and go to Sainsburys around the corner, or even better, the M&S foodstore in Central Brighton: after visiting either you are more likely to live to tell the tale.

Aldi prices are very good we bought a large joint of pork for £4.60 a pizza 6 pints of milk a pack of bacon and a medium chicken all for £12.00 .
The quality of the fruit is not very good the bananas only last a couple of days other than that I'm happy to shop at aldi .

Shocking click and collect service. Loads of items not available and lots of items missing. When speaking to customer service to at least get the missing items refunded, was told to go into store to ask for a refund - the very thing I was trying to avoid In the first place. Without visiting the store (peak pandemic) I wouldn't get a refund, so Aldi are just keeping my money for nothing. Avoid like the plague.

Popped in to the lewes road branch this afternoon. I was looking for a specific item(which I could not find ) put my basketback and left and was followed outside by a security guard wanting to look in my bag? When I asked why he implied I had been shoplifting he denied this but decided that because I had left without buying I was clearly a thief. That was a big mistake on his part and I refused to allow him to look in my bag. In fact if he had pushed it I would have phoned the police. Sorry wont be coming to your store again. Your security staff need better training. Went and got what I was looking for at sainsburys where I don't get accused of being a thief when I don't buy anything.

Had monthly big shop, at checkout realised I’d need two trolleys to pack it, Really helpfull member of staff on door let me back in the exit when I got extra trolley, and then Katerina on checkout was so patient and got me bags and then boxes for shopping and pushed second trolley out to car - makes tiring shopping bearable. What a lovely staff team, a credit to not just Aldi but the grocery industry.

I visited the store recently and was very impressed with the very tall, bald, but young, security guard working at the store. He was extremely efficient, kept everyone under control, helped to ensure that everyone was social distancing and certainly eased my worries about going to a supermarket in the midst of a global pandemic. Though I was slightly concerned as his face was very red from sunburn after having to stand outside all day - perhaps the store could offer him some free suncream for all his hard work. I will be returning to this store only as no other stores in the area have such a high quality security guard. Also the food is really cheap in this shop xx

Great choice, good quality and just ridiculously good value - you can easily do a decent week's family shop for under £30. Well managed in the current corona situ, hand sanitizer and shielded checkouts. Staff are always really helpful and friendly.
