Go in for a 6 pack of ciders come out with an existential crisis and question what you've been doing with your life. Late shift worker likes Frys Turkish Delight. He's a good bloke and if he doesn't complain about me killing the planet with my plastic bag use I buy him one.

The owner is amazing. I had been having a bad day, then when I arrived I had severe issues beyond what most people could cope with accessing money from the ATM, because of an faux pas by my bank, then I couldn't use my bank card on the contact less beepy thing, I am a wheelchair user and had to call my bank multiple times. Oh my days, the gentleman at the counter was incredibly patient with me. God bless him, and thank you so much for everything. Good man.

Went in for a drink, but the drinks fridge was not switched on at all so everything was warm. But that's alright. Pleasent staff and good selection of items.

This store never open when it says. They need to edit their google listing. Never open before 8 every morning!

A great corner shop, constantly serving the community during these Covid times. Well stocked with helpful and friendly staff.

Friendly in the evening, grumpy during the day. Items with no cost on will be grossly overpriced, e.g Ben and Jerry's @ £6 (rrp £4)

Very rude man serving, sell by dates on the fresh foods changed. Offers dodgy cigarettes from under the till. Avoid this shop. Extra 10 min walk to the 24/7 shop down Lewes Road

Floors were absolutely covered by huge piles of stock, that had to be navigated around (harder in a steamed up face mask)

Stop assuming East Asian customers are all from China. I’ve had this so many times and no, I AM NOT. A guy in the shop is always really starey as well. Don’t think I’ll ever go again if they’re being so patronising.

On this site they sell expired food. People treat you badly, talk to you very edge. Especially in the morning. I've seen food with fungus in the fridges. I went to buy a pizza and the store smelled of rot. It’s horrible

Nice store. Always open late. Prices are a little higher, but that's because that's to be expected for a small shop that is so local.

Good that it is local a little more expensive then most shops but what do you expect from a small shop. The owner seems rather friendly.
