Good area to place a Sainsburys. Close to Brighton station and commercial business. Wide selection of produces and products. Large store for the London road area. Great bakery for bread and sweet & saviour pastries. Very good place and handy too!

This is a well stocked Sainsbury's band seems to have a bit more variety than others, especially for world foods and specialist items.
It can often be very busy and the tills seem overcrowded so try to avoid it at peak times. During the current Lockdown, people still seem to be very pushy and crowded so avoid if you are vulnerable or in contact with the vulnerable.
Otherwise it's a very good Sainsbury's!

Terrible staff. Walked in on Thursday and one female manager was shouting at two other staff members unnecessarily loudly and being so rude to them in front of all the customers coming in. That is not how you should speak to adults. Will not be shopping in Sainsbury's again, especially not this one.

Firstly the staff are so helpful and friendly all-bar- one lady who's rude.!
All has everything you need, Argos, Amazon pick up point.
Parking underground, 2 hours free..

First world problems I know, but there are often gaps in the stock here. No Smoked Paprika, Chinese 5 spice or rice wine vinegar, a bit of a dinner rethink required, which is always a pain.

A large sainsburys with a nice variety of goods, including fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh baked goods, cheese counter, some kitchenware goods, alcohol, ready meals and frozen food. Its mostly a self checkout system but there are a few tills. Shelves are usually well stocked, the place is usually clean with lots of space in the aisles, staff are usually pretty good. There is also a public toilet here.

During these stressful times staff were rude/snappy. Asked to keep my distance by lady on checkout even though I was behind the 2m mark on the floor. It's a shame staff don't monitor when you are going around the aisles getting your shopping and people come right up beside you constantly! Also barked at by security when leaving the store to use other door. A bit of politeness wouldn't be so hard! Sainsbury's lewes road much nicer experience. Wont be coming here again regretfully.

Always great - if you just stick to the offers its worth shopping and you can save a lot on good brands - tonnes of different types/ brands of dairy free/ vegan milks. Dvd offers and season household/ gift section is often in sale too for things like Christmas, Halloween..even costumes for school book day!

A tiny bit more expensive than Aldi but the food is much much better quality and it also lasts longer. Because there is no piped music or loud audio system it has a calming feel. Terrible idea of getting rid of so many checkouts and losing the fishmongers but the place is still head and shoulders above the other supermarkets nearby.
