I wear glasses which steam up with a mask. This made shopping a nightmare today because instead of going directly to the item ms I wanted, I had to search

Gotta love Waitrose. Always a lovely selection of things you might not see in other places. Good cakes, great breads and produce. Always friendly and charming people working there. It's a great supermarket.

Last minute Friday night trolley dash round my favourite super market for a range of sustainably sourced delicious food. Would normally give 5 stars but I just noticed that my guilty entry into my trolley, the Waitrose Thai green curry take away has one item with palm oil in it. Damn. Come on Waitrose start labelling food as palm oil free or better still have Waitrose products become palm oil free. It would make my shopping experience quicker and guaranteed guilt free.

The best . Organised clean safe staff are great and of course the food is great .I always use the app so I pack as I go along. Their click and collect is also efficient and convenient! ????♀️

Decided for a change to shop in Waitrose, normally its out of my price range, then got followed all round the store by the Security guard! Dont think your used to working class people shopping in your store!! Could do better!!!!!!!

Huge. Large carpark, same level, opposite main entrance. Usual Waitrose service, efficiency and quality. Easy access. 5B bus from city centre.

I’ve been to this Waitrose lots of times which is only a short walk to my house for food shopping however the only thing I don’t like about Waitrose in general is that the products including my snacks that I like are more pricy than at Sainsbury’s, Lidl and Tesco.
Even so it can be ok for small food shopping but it depends on how expensive the products are.
Giving this 3 stars and a solid 7 out of 10.

One of the only big stores near where I live, where I don't need to queue as I work for the NHS I normally shop straight after my shift, the staff at waitrose are always very welcoming, totally recommend the store. 10/10

What's not to like about the ' Trose? If you need shopping and don't want it delivered this time, if you've got a few quid and you want to exchange it for quality ingredients, if you want an exceptionally pleasent in-store experience, then it's all here

The worst shopping experience at Waitrose this week.
We normally shop at Waitrose Brighton with pleasure and feeling safe. This week we decided to go to Waitrose Hove well never again! 9.45am NO security controlling the entrance, a mass of people at the vegetable counter, we counted 6 members on the aisles WITHOUT any PPE at all (they can't all be exempted!), 2 members of staff on the food counter wearing masks on their chins! Then the management has put a pile of newspaper at the checkout counters , given their clients NO space to pack, we had to pack on the floor. We mentioned it to the cashier who replied with a nasty attitude that it was for her protection and the other cashiers which make NO sense what so ever when the other Waitrose do not. Waitrose & Partners Hove you have a LOT of catching to do with making your shop covid secure and drop the attitude and be professional! You are a real shame to the Waitrose chain.

It might not be a good time for me to visit this Waitrose yesterday. Normally this branch is full of all the essential stuffs and with a very good atmosphere for shopping. It also provide sufficient number of parking spaces for your shopping. I wish that I can come again in a short period of time to enjoy my shopping !!!

Their sushi ???? trays have neither the little soy nor wasabi nor ginger parcels. You have to hunt it out separately in a condiments box that is not labelled such that you could guess. No clues are given whatsoever.
There are only two bicycle locking places and they are incredibly rusty. I hope you don't like your paintwork.
Why is it so hard to shop here?
As always it's pricey.

Store was good (but no flour of any description) and outside waiting time only 5 mins BUT my teenage grandson (who is living with me) wasn't allowed in with me. Later we saw people coming out with older children. Had we known we'd have queued separately with a trolly or basket each. Where's the logic or consistency in this rule?

Amazing staff left wallet at checkout only to realise it once i got back. Phoned the branch and they were helpful and held on to it until i got back. Hove Waitrose is the best layout of all there stores.

Lovely security staff, limit of 65 people in store means you're never in a busy aisle. Self scanners precleaned and there are precleaned trolleys just before you enter the store. Queue usually 5mins. Staff v helpful and fresh Sushi bar v good. All fresh fish, meat, cheese counters still open. Really relaxing experience compared to other local supermarkets. V few empty shelves, I only notice cleaning gloves seem regularly empty, most other things vary on each visit. Some good item discounts recently. I feel much safer shopping here than all other supermarkets I've tried. 10/10 to the staff

Due too open today for seniors at 7.30 but did not open until 7.50. No system to police shoppers who were in the queue. If there is sufficient food in the supply chain why should it be that there was no pasta, rice and toilet rolls?

Went to this place today as a carer to buy some food to some of our clients which they are very vulnerable and elderly in this horrendous situation but I was so disappointed to going this place and not recommending for any care-worker to going in there as they do not respect at front of the door, whereas all the other supermarkets including ALDI, TESCO, SAINSBURY'S, CO-OP, etc. They put vulnerable people and also care-worker first.
However, will never go back there even if any of the clients as in elderly people required, I was not expected from waitrose.

This is a very nice shop I always feel when I've been shopping there that I've done a bit of posh shopping they have a lot of interesting food it is very clean and the toilets are really clean and fresh . There is a nice Cafe and you can get a free coffee here
