The largest Waitrose I have been to. Vast choice of all aspects of cooking and eating at home. Usual Waitrose high quality fresh foodstuffs for the healthy eater.

I only go to this Waitrose to shop for an elderly relative. Enjoy shopping here with the wide selection of quality foods.
BUT... I find having to hear the dogs crying and I do mean crying, not barking, from the greyhound track nextdoor distressing. Not Waitrose's fault but spoils the shop for me.

They do not like people who have coffee without asking for it, even if you use your loyalty card. The staff at the Hove store are not nice or good with people. They need better customer service training. As far as I am concerned they are high in name but low in staff and customers. Ie low grade. Waitrose is trying to hard to be something they are not. High prices low grade food none wants.

Fabulous Waitrose. Great selection of Vegan and Vegetarian food. Large car park. Friendly and efficient service. Nearly as good as Waitrose Brighton......but not quite....simply lacks the vibrancy and quirkiness.....but fab none the less.

I LOVE Waitrose. The food is ALWAYS good and tasty, even their own brand. The veg is fresh, and lasts once you've got it home. The staff are always friendly and happy to help, that's the John Lewis way, and you feel it as soon as you walk in the store. What can I say, I'm a John Lewis fan.

Great store. Products especially fresh produce can be a bit thin on the ground at times. Today meat counter almost empty, shame as couldnt get my beef joint. That said, staff on the whole very friendly and approachable. Good store, just needs some logistics sorting

Great parking and if full can over spill into Grey Hound parking. The shop has everything you could want from a grocery store, nice cafe, fresh fruit and veg, butchers, fish monger's, rotisserie, delicatessen, amazing bakery / patisserie with a very well stock selection of wines, beers, ales and spirits. There is also a pharmacy and a small selection of seasonal plants. Great location and brilliant produce and services.

As always Waitrose is the classiest of the supermarkets with slightly higher than average prices and always so clean snd tidy.
Scan as you shop has been introduced into the store which makes it quicker to get through checkout once you've completed your shop. Add to that the cafe if you want to relax be for or after your shop, what more could you ask for.

Great stock and customer service. Almost always a pleasant experience (save trolly wars at peak times). I appreciate the convenience of self-scanning/packing which ends up saving a great deal of time at the checkout.
Nice cafe with friendly staff, breakfast and outdoor seating in the summer!

Stay away from the Gants tinned chicken curry being sold here. I thought I'd give it a go to compare it against the M&S chicken curry thinking it's Waitrose so it's got to be good. No chance it's proper awful. Never again!

It's just next to Hove park, so it's perfect for weekends to grab your free regular coffee (if you have the loyalty card) and have your breakfast in the park. The store itself is wide, open plan, with a good variety of sections. Friday is fresh fish discount day, and every evening you are bound to get great deals from the bakery. Dress well to get the utmost respect from the staff :)

£1.89 for an extra large avocado but on the other side the cashier tell the difference between a pave rustic and a chewy. So got this cheaper than expected. They don't accept my coop card either.

Usually a wonderful place to shop. I do all my groceries here. Love the way the tellers are usually so helpful. Today they only get two stars though due to the young girl that served me at the till. She was in an incredible hurry (there was no one waiting behind me at the time.) She began putting my stuff through the till before I had finished unpacking my trolley, she then started asking if I want bags again before I had finished unpacking my trolley. She seemed to be in a really big rush most of the time.

I went to Waitrose and used the self scan after I scan my shopping a woman that works there stood and watch me, after I put my whole shopping through just to find out I suppose to use the self checkout. I was so annoyed , That Linda she’s called stood there and watch me until this young guy came and told me I couldnt used the self scan. Then I had to queue again to used the self checkout!

It's a Waitrose. A big one with a full range. Perfect for all your persimmon-infused goat curd needs :) OK, maybe not that. Yet.
I go for a decent range of flour to make interesting bread.
By the way look out for the premium priced versions of things in obvious places and then several aisles later the normal- (for-Waitrose) priced versions that are rather hidden away where you wouldn't expect them. You can save parting with a few extra bob if you're aware of this.
