The freezers are almost always out of order. The fruit and veg is moldy at times. Staff are hard working, some more than others (the later it gets the lazier the staff tend to be). Amazing alcohol, soft drinks section for a small store. It's average and can be limited but has everyday essentials.

This is one of the smallest Tesco stores I have been to but it’s quite some distance away from where I live and I like how it is really close to Portslade station.
I gave this Tesco store in Portslade, West Hove in Sussex 4 stars and a solid 7.5 out of 10. ????????????????????????????

During this COVID-19 period, I usually go to this store to replenish the food for my household. All the customers are strictly following the 2 meters outside the store. I also like the ‘One’ direction setup in the store, it helps the customers move quickly to select their preference food stuffs. Everything is now well planned in the store and I think it is done by the team work. I hope this situation will be over and resume to normal in the near future.

This is a good store, reasonable selection and not too busy. Quality of fresh food is good, and very good value. The staff is very friendly and professional, the one way system is excellent, so is the way the queuing to the the check outs.
Very easy to keep the social distance and have a smooth shop. A shame last week two young Male staff were pratting around on the security desk inches from each other's and found it funny when it was pointed out politely.

Well stocked store quick check out. Always use the store when visiting my dad. It is within walking distance but has good disabled parking.
Employee of this week the tall chap that collects the baskets & trolleys always so happy & helpful.

I shop here often as right near my work place. After going to many times to count I have to say the food is good but the service is awful. Staff just ignore you and rather talk to their friends

Small carpark above with tiny spaces in it. The store is rather small and they never seem to have what I want in store. Otherwise it's not bad for a Tesco in a high street.

Visited tesco for 2 main items hopefully on offer and they were. Kenco coffee (large jar) at £4.00 and pg tips tea (240 bags) £4.00. So i was happy.

Good big tesco, doesn't have all items as although its a large store its not the same size as the normal huge supermarket. Its much bigger than a normal Tesco metro though.

Everything is fine until they hear a foriegn accent then things can get ugly with some of the staff. Most are ok with us "foriegners" but many aren't. Better off going to Aldi if you have a non British accent. It's just 150m north on the same road.
