Often times extremely rude staff, unfortunately.
This shop had a good selection of items and I’ve been shopping at this particular boots for nearly 4 years now. Every now and then I will come across an extremely rude and unprofessional member of staff which has obviously built up enough for me to leave a negative review. There will rarely ever be someone available at the self check out tills and getting a bag or your checkout machine back to normal is a close to impossible. It was particularly busy tonight and there was no staff at the tills for a very long time. I was stood at the machine waiting for a bag (as ALWAYS) and had, no exaggeration, 6 people try to take the machine I was using while I was stood waiting. I was so frustrated with staff never being available at the tills and the fact that I was unintentionally holding the queue that I ended up having to take a bag myself from behind the tills next to my machine. Somehow immediately, a woman shows up and starts telling me off in a very rude tone. I apologized and explained that I had been waiting for a long time and people had been trying to use the till I was stood at. She continued to yell at me about how I should just stand and wait (which I had been doing for literally 5 minutes with no staff member in sight). Mind you I was stood at the very last till and she was on the other end and was, therefore, doing this in front of about 20 clients from across the room..absolutely unprofessional and rude. I honestly have no idea where they find these people but as I mentioned before - this was far from the first time something similar has happened to me. If you’re planning on shopping here I advise that you avoid contact with staff as much as possible. It seems a lot of the staff here have zero manners and absolutely no comprehension of what professionalism looks like. Laughable.

Best place to buy your vitamins and make-up. They always have 3 for 2 Sale for vitamins and BUY 1 and pay 1/2 price for the second product for the COSMETIC PRODUCTS. Cough, colds & flu meds are really cheap as well as everything for INDIGESTION. I bought a few packets as this is double price in my country and could only be bought in the pharmacy.

I love boots! And this branch is big with lots of choice! But I was saddened by the demotivated makeup counter staff! They looked so bored and like they wanted to go home! When I asked about a product on a specific brand .. the lady representing that brand didn’t have a clue? Turned out the tester was right next to her! Another brand the lady disappeared after serving my friend! So someone from another brand had to search for the product I wanted! When we went upstairs the self serve drugstore makeup was heaving and really buzzing! Completely different vibe on the next floor.. as it was full of tourists rather than staff. I’m not saying the staff weren’t helpful or they where bad. I’m saying they looked like they hated their jobs! Seriously! It was a Tuesday evening 7pm!

This store is in a good location. It can be found in the heart of Piccadilly. It's a big store but lacks allure. I'm uncertain if this is due to people traffic and staff feeling underwhelmed to help.
It's split over two floors, the upper ground is messy and feels disorganised. Ground floor feels empty even though decently stocked. Sounds like a contradiction, but again I'm perhaps putting this down to the vibe of the shop.
Given that other branches, even the smaller ones feel much more welcoming and less chaotic, I think a restructure or retraining of staff is what is needed.

Worst experience, I came to buy three specific products, was given three different products, even if I asked to have the right ones. Staff took my notes what to buy, but still has the wrong products. Very bad experience. If you need something specific go somewhere else. Staff has no clue and or is not interested at all.

Worst service ever. Today 26 March I went here and I wanted to buy the Parfum Chanel Allure and the lady from Chanel was unhelpful and so moody!No smile! No open questions ,she was like a robot. If you don't like working her, quit! Lots of people want and look for a job.dont work in customer service role. I will buy product online or from other competitors.

Boots is the most popular drug store in the UK. The stores are very busy and offer a wide range of items. You can even buy a sandwich and crisps for a reasonable price. Americans may find items over the counter or at the pharmacy desk, that may prescriptions in the US. Many locations throughout London. They do have some clearance and sale items as well.

The service was outstanding.

A large branch, well stocked with goodies. A decent range of food to go too. The staff are very helpful and quite lovely with everyone. It was heartwarming to see (different members of) staff be kind and friendly to a chap that was elderly and in a motorised wheelchair.

Huge Boots with a great selection in central London. There were a lot of people here and it was a bit chaotic. Staff seemed overwhelmed and didn't seem helpful. There are great deals to be had here though. Stars are more for the selection and size of the store.

Relatively large Boots location, but obviously under constant barrage from tourists due to it’s location. They stock most of the basics over their two floors, but the pharmacy line is long most of the day, shortening after around 8:30PM. If you’re a local looking for a quick purchase, try a smaller store a little more off the beaten path.
