It's an odd cramped and disorganised layout and loads of tills but not much room at each leading to quite a bit of queuing. Hollingbury is much nicer

Grocery order for my Daughter Jess Adkins delivered last Thursday in Brighton. Many food articles on or a day away from use-by date and already clearly off and smelling bad, No help from the store until today. As someone who knows Walmart and is a long-time Asda customer I am shocked and surprised at the poor quality, poor service and a lack of any positive action from the store; promises to phone back, do something etc. but nothing has happened to dat.

It's very asda-ish. If you want to experience the world of asda, this is the right place to go... maybe not if you want the tesco experience

I was shocked and embarrassed to be served today by a cashier who had had his chair taken away by management. Only cashiers with some disability are now able to sit to do their work. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable, as if I was being attended by a servant instead of one of Adsa's famous "colleagues". Shame on whoever took away this option of sitting or standing in an age when we are supposed to be moving towards greater egalitarianism. Does the management consider that the staff will work harder and go home happier? It was humiliating, like a schoolchild who had been naughty. Bad move Asda. Give your employees the right to choose how they can most comfortably do a good day's work for you.

Never order online with them!! We waited 3 hours for our delivery and when we reached the customer's support, they told us the driver had come while we were there! 55 minutes on the phone, and they couldn't even secured us that we would have our delivery the next day! They couldn't tell us more than to collect it by ourselves at the shop, without any compensation else than a free delivery! Can't even refund us within a reasonable delay...Seriously, poor service from the driver whom seems not being able to read an address and from the customers support who's completely useless.

They've moved stuff around again and the Isles are very narrow in places. Bags of rice not in the Isle marked "rice" but in condiments and oil. Avoid if you can.

Rubbish service had a click and collect slot for 7 to 8pm no one at the station so went inside to customer services who put a call out twice on the tannoy no one came after 10mins I asked for a manager who came to the desk then disappears for 15mins to find the guy and my shopping ..finally came back no shopping to be found at this point I ask for a refund could only be done tomorrow I didn't realise it was a click and find shop service wasted 30mins at the customer service desk no shopping ever found ... embarrassing service.. patronising manager who didn't apologise for the lack of service and offered no solution all walking around looking for a member of staff who has gone AWOL Rubbish won't use this shop again or recommend click or collect or asda to anyone if I could give a minus score I would ..have to now go shopping tomorrow

Too many staff filling Home Delivery orders, too many trollies and cages cluttering up the aisles. Why do assistants need to go around in pairs and then stand about talking. Not a really tidy store anywmore

It's got everything your little heart could desire. It is often very messy which you don't want from a supermarket. Staff are friendly.

It's an Asda. Functions well enough as such. Can be a bit crowded, especially Saturdays, but never had big queues at the checkouts. The fresh baked bread is actually pretty good (try the "Multiseed"). Like most big supermarkets, it's impossible to find things you need in a hurry, although the staff have been helpful enough once you do manage to chase one of them down. Open 24h on weekdays, which is handy when you've rolled out your pizza dough and notice you forgot the tomato goop that goes on top. There's a big parking lot in front, and the entrance is occasionally occupied with folks harassing you about car breakdown cover and such. The place is also in convenient walking distance from the Marina apartments. Has a "George" clothing shop upstairs.

Came back to Asda after 10 years with Lidl whose attitude towards its customers deteriorated rapidly presumably due to its latest popularity rise. Asda is best at night without the day crowd. I drive a Renault Zoe, 100% electric powered. The electric charging bays in this Asda store is constantly occupied by petrol and diesel guzzlers, complaints to Asda help desk falls on deaf ears, not their responsibility is their constant replies! Few weeks ago, I was sent a parking notice for leaving my car on charge longer than the 3 hour parking limit. I wrote to appeal, stating; - my car needs 3 - 4 hours for a full charge, - status quo dictates no time limit for electric cars on charge process - the notice within the electric bays is different in shape from the rest of the site alluding it's a separate entity and said notice within the electric bays does NOT state a parking time limit, - my car wasn't parked but charging and - during the charging process, my contract is with Chargepoint, not Asda or the parking operator Parking Eye. Parking Eye replied to advise the parking notice is cancelled. Ive written back to suggest they should spend more time stopping petrol and diesel cars parking in the electric bays rather than trying to increase revenue only. Asda should take more effort and consideration of their customer's plight otherwise more customers will find alternatives

Well every little helps. Firstly the people are adorable, its Brighton and I just love the happy staff but you loose a star for teenagers in Onesies, there is no excuse after you take your first baby step. I have never seen an adult in one so Brighton does have some class. Another star off for that lady that tells her 5 year old to F*******. Shame on you lady. Shame! Way too much junk food between anything you can call food, must be so hard for families with this US sugar force feeding system rigged against them. But there is enough fresh, cheap fruit, veg, meat etc. if you look around its just feels harder to get to than other stores. Parking is good and they at least have 4 EV bays though they are usually filled with petrol cars with empty free spaces nearer the store entrance which seems crazy. But Asda don't care so won't put up a please don't park here sign or leaflet the petrol cars that park there.

This store is fast going downhill. Less and less choice, especially of fresh and chilled products and very short dates. Less manned checkouts which means longer queues and they are now all at the rear end of the store. More self-service checkouts which are slow and tedious. Last time I shopped I only had a relatively small amount of shopping, but had to have the checkout assistant's help at least five times because of "unrecognised item in bagging area" when there was nothing extra in there at all!!! It makes me want to scream!!!! I understand there is a new manager who has lots of new (read BIG) ideas. I think he might need to learn the ways of the world before he starts trying to change something that worked perfectly well.

Much confusion over the car parking - signs that say 3 hours only but speak to staff if you want to stay longer. Staff knew nothing about this signage and were unable to help us.
