A large and well stocked shop. Ample parking. Friendly staff. We visited at just after 7pm and it was nice and quiet. All together a fairly pleasant experience

I live here, so it's essential! Spend a tenner washing your duvet? Nah, just buy a new one for £9!!Great value, wish there was a loyalty scheme though.

Just spent the last hour attempting to leave... No crashes which could have caused the severe jam, seems to be purely because of appalling car park design. An actual hour, just to get out of a car park. Goes beyond just ruining my day!

Very poor customer service. Especially on Sunday. They got too busy. Everything just very bad. A customer Infront of me. Had a young baby in a pushchair. Poor thing. The cashier could not get an item scanned, something wrong with the pricetag, invalid. The cashier asked the poor mum go back to get another one. The poor mum, looked confused. She didn't understand why she is the one need to go back to get another one, when she need to deal with her own crying baby. The cashier explain, they don't have enough people to get another for her. If she want to buy that. Go back to get another one. Finally there is another staff came over. Sadly she said to the mum. They are short of staff. If she have any issues, she will need to go to the customer service. It was completely shocking how they treated that mum. There were two of them. But none of them willing to get another one to help this customer. The customer at the end said, don't bother. She just want to pay and leave Personally I don't like what I saw. And feel sympathy to that customer. Maybe that is the difference between shopping at Asda vs Waitrose. Poor service at this particular ASDA. or maybe this is how ASDA treat their customers.

alright I dunno man I dunno what to say about this place but it is very good and they do what you gonna time for the service they do the service they always make you wanna go very Even my 7 year old loved it! Fold out chairs available or plenty of benches to sit on. Nice spacious rooms so doesn't feel claustrophobic or too crowded. Cafe was a bit overpriced though and food wasn't particularly suited to children in general. Better to just cross the road and have something to eat at one of the more family friendly restaurants about. Alright thank goodness I got to see you bro I love it I love the way I can hear it from my dads house is my birthday and my new number it’s gonna is my birthday and my new birthday is gonna I wanna come now you wanna come now is a greatnesses here is a good night to be sure time for me haha was the time to get my food back from my food good time and I’m not gonna it is a very good food I service is a lot of fun but I think I wanna truck I was meant for the pizza to go with it haha is that a great thing about it and how much you have been completed in order for me some time.

Great value, lots of parking, can get busy sometimes. I love their clothes section upstairs, never that busy, so can browse with ease.

What is wrong with people? Why having electric car charging station in a massive car park and allow non electric vehicles to park there whenever they want?? Or even electric vehicles that aren’t charging? Massively anti sociable behaviour that ASDA is feeding. Shame shame shame on people!

So I went to Asda this morning because as an NHS worker that does long shifts the last few days I’ve been struggling to find anything other than empty shelves including kibble for my puppy. Apart from the long queue and lots of people which defeats the whole social isolation purpose, the lady at checkout was unnecessarily rude and unhelpful. First of all, I had a small basket and because it was so busy I put it on the counter without taking everything off it to make things quicker for her to scan. When my turn came she told me rather rudely that I need to take everything out of the basket. Then, when I asked her if there are any special times for NHS workers her reply was a rude “You need to check online”. I told her I checked online and all I found in the official Asda website is that on Fri 20th March between 8-9 they would welcome vulnerable people and NHS workers. Nothing about today or everyday. She then told me again in the same rude manner that “I need to check online, and it’s what it says online.”. She said that I have to apply somewhere and just find whatever is written online. She said many stores offer special hours and I need to keep an eye on it. She said that Tesco offers hours and maybe Asda Hollingburry will have something and basically to check other stores. Except that I live in Kemptown & have been shopping at Asda the last 5 yrs and asked for their store specifically, NOT about Tesco NOT about the rest of Asda stores in Brighton&Hove. Her attitude was awful but because it was busy and I didn’t want to delay the other customers I just told her “ok,thanks”, paid and left. I find this very ungrateful and unnecessary towards NHS staff and I will follow this lady’s advice and not shop at Asda again, even after the pandemic has passed. I will look online for the other stores again per her advice. And I will advice all the people I know to do the same. To compare, on my way back home I stopped by Lidl, to get what was out of stock at Asda and the difference and quality that existed in their store was astonishing. The staff were much nicer and friendlier and the store miles more organised than Asda. Please do your shopping somewhere else and don’t bother visiting this store. I’m sure there are some staff that work hard on there, but that specific cashier was clearly not one of them.

Interview process marina Brighton a JOKE!! If you promise to let people know either way after a long interview then honour it. Three weeks on and four attempts for an answer is disgusting . This is not encouragement for students who want to work! So very disappointed in Asda

Good location for a supermarket, the store is very large so there is a good selection of products at good values. The store needs a refurbishment as it is looking old and tatty although this doesn't matter to much. You should be aware that the supermarket is not open 24 hours at weekends.

Huge Asda with a good range of products, however the clothings is only a small area upstairs, so there isn’t as much of a range as you would think looking at the size of the store

This store has to be one of the worst managed places I have ever encountered. 1. They have numerous tills, but usually no more than five are opened even on peak trading times with queues often being 6 - 7 trollies deep. 2. They are never on top of their stock. There are always items missing from their shelves and when you question, you get a blanket 'we don't know when it's coming back'. 3. Whomever designed the foyer needs to be slapped. Considering the size of the branch, there is always conjestion around the foyer. My gripe isn't with the staff, because all the staff on the floor are incredibly helpful with a cheery dispostion, but my advice to Asda HQ, replace the management within this branch, because Asda Brighton Marina has a terrible reputation within the local community due to the all the points I have raised.

Not too bad a place, reasonably priced foods and a fairly good selection of fresh fruit and veg, the pizza bar is good too as is the bakery with a large selection of in store baked breads, rolls and cakes. The only minus points are if you go in there after 9pm every aisle is full of cages which are blocking you from getting your trolley down the said aisle so you have to leave it at the bottom and go get what you want from the shelves and carry it back to your trolley and the floors littered with cardboard boxes and packaging which for someone like myself who is partially sighted is a danger zone.

Here all the time when I’m the Marina grabbing items. Not my favourite supermarket in the world! The merchandising is appalling and always messy, the front entrance is carnage. Why can’t Asda open the east exit for marina footfall? The marina has a demographic that would spend more so get some better quality stock in tidy the place up. Ban smoking and drinking on the benches for all the taxi brigade!!! Also make people put there tops on when walking in on a hot day and perhaps get security that look more with it and not spotty teenagers that stare at there phones

I went to this asda for some petrol. It says it is a 24 hr petrol station but when i went there to get some petrol at 12am it was closed. The pumps even say 24 hr pumps. Does 24 hrs mean something different to asda? It was blocked off and the pump was turned off. There was no sign of appology or anything.

I find myself lost for words in my extolation of this fine shopping establishment. ASDA Brighton Marina Superstore is simply the most wonderful supermarket there is under the broad jurisdiction of Brighton and Hove City Council. Ask yourself, where else exactly can one purchase a near freshly-made pack of sumptuous custard doughnuts at half-past-three on a Wednesday morning? If you happen to suffer from insomnia or any such other related sleeping difficulties, make sure to pay a visit to ASDA Brighton Marina Superstore because I can assure you it is worth your time. As much as the wonders of Asda Stores Ltd. can be found elsewhere in the area, the ASDA in Hollingbury — as admirable as it is in the quality of its regular low-price ASDA bargains — understandably fails to live up to the impeccably high standards set by its seaside counterpart. There are so many marvelous things I could write about concerning my experiences shopping at this particular branch of ASDA, but I fear the Google Maps platform, not understanding the significance of this individual business, may only cut my endorsement. Consequently, I will list only the most relevant points. The floor is always sweeped clean to a level of purity the likes of which the majority of OCD sufferers would be proud of. I urge any shopper not to gaze in awe at the cleanliness of the tiles for too long, lest they become disorientated by the perfect, mirror-like reflectance it offers. Furthermore, the shelves are always stacked to fulfilling completion. It seems that not a single product has ever been 'out of stock' since the very joyous occasion the store opened. Unlike in other supermarkets, every Marina Superstore worker has a degree in the supermarket grocery business and is trained to the highest possible standard in all related skills, as well as having immense pride for their workplace and occupation. In summary, I can recommend this superstore to the reader no less than eating food. It is the bread and water of my life, and it should be of yours. Happy shopping at ASDA, Brighton Marina.

Will never use this store again.. Beware Sunday shoppers it'll cost you more than your shopping!!! Our local Asda in Eastbourne is on a Marina retail site like Brighton & allows you to shop then park while you dine out. No clear signage to warn you but to be fair you're not looking out for it either. Get a warning letter saying the car park only allows you to stay for 0hrs +0 minutes.. Not sure it should be classed as a car park if this is the case? Store don't want to help either.. Come on Asda this extirtion isn't right for your customers

If I didn’t have to shop there I wouldn’t. The self service machine has made a mistake counting my money more than once now and they don’t fix it. It may just be 1 extra pound to pay here or there but it’s extremely irritating and they should have a better system for checking the money I put in directly not how much it perceives because that was the entire problem in the first place. Not happy.

I find Asda very reliable, the shelves are stacked regularly and it's open 24 hours during week days. Just stay away from the veg, the quality at Asda has always been shocking. Not much more you could want!

Good store..toilets o/k,very busy fuel station..its had a refurb luckily..the brick flooring was soaked through after years of diesel spillage..so had to wear gloves and rubber boots to buy diesel..but cheapest around. Beware of new parking scam by Parking Sly...? check the details on the hidden notice boards...complicated or what..? specially thought up to confuse people, especially the older ones..signage thought up by a child. My car for its twice yearly total clean at the car wash..i cant clean cars any more its very hard work..these guys do a great job..my wife takes her old Rover 75 twice a year also, they use a special shampoo, car comes back glistening.. The car wash is open at 8.30 am..great,i usually get there about an hour later..we then do our weekly shop, refuel car..all sorted in 2 hours max..looking spotless and feeling good....BUT..? Anyone visiting the car park on Sunday morning early is now liable to be fined..the new rules/times ? are not on the ASDA entrance or window's..so/k at 10.01 am...but you could be fined up to £70 pounds at 9.59 am..!!!!! yeah right...this will cost you dearly ASDA...and the car wash that will lose customers early in the day... Im sure if management get enough complaints this will be looked at..if not i will never shop there again after 29 years of loyalty to ASDA..get rid of these Parking Parasites..you have lost a loyal customer who has spent thousands of pounds over the last 29 years..back to Sainsbury's Newhaven..food/fuel,and free parking..and no hassle..

Yet another shop over £100 delivered without bags! I pay for the cheap bags and add that I want bags and not loose items in crates, yet this is obviously not clear enough?? Enough is enough! My family spends over £200 per week in your store,so add that over a year! It is goodbye Asda, after all the many years of service. I think it is time for staff re training before you loose more customers!

It's a supermarket, it's got lots of food. With other leisure and restaurant facilities close by, but be prepared. If you think you might just pop in for a few bits just before lunch on Saturday or Sunday then don't say I didn't warn you. It gets very busy so choose your outing carefully.

Absolutely FURIOUS!!! I am a carer for both people with learning difficulties and downs syndrome who live independantly in their own homes and last Friday I took two of my charges to Asda Marina store to do some general shopping. One of my charges bought a few items of grocery but likes to chat and engage with other customers and staff alike. We went to the pizza bar and two young female staff members were laughing and mocking my charges and were behaving in a very patronising, rude manner towards them. I asked if there was a problem and was ignored by one of the staff members on the counter but the other girl muttered "Silly cow" and glared at us. We were told to go back in 10 minutes to collect the pizzas but when we did were told they were not ready yet. We were shocked at how rude the member of staff were to us but it was only to get worse because at the checkout my female charge was struggling to get the money from her purse and became panicky and upset so I started to help her , the checkout operator was huffing and puffing loudly and at one point asked me if I could not pay for the goods as it was taking up too much time, I tried to explain that as a carer we need to help our charges do everyday tasks independantly as a community support network and she very rudely mumbled "Whatever." another member of staff came to the checkout and the checkout operator glance across at us then back to this other member of staff and very loudly commented "Care in the community annual day out." What is WRONG with the staff in this store? Manners and courtesy cost nothing but obviously this is not a priority with Asda staff. We will never be shopping in that place ever again.
