I ordered online 2 items in the same order. Upon pick up it turns out that only 1 item had been confirmed for pick-up (my bad). The very disappointing thing is the following: there was no queue at all it was only me there, and I kindly asked the guy to check wether the other item had arrived since I was coming from far away. I was met with an immediate “no that other item will come with tomorrow’s delivery if it’s not ready for pick up now”, and instead within 15 minutes of walking out of Argos I received confirmation for the second item was ready to be picked up. The guy didn’t even try! Needless to say I didn’t have time to go back and the item was returned. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I bought iPhone cable 2m from Argos in Chancery Lane and store was not open as usual due to pandemic, my cable it’s not working properly so I call customer service team, they advised me that due pandemic Argos are not exchanging there for to take my faulty cable to Argos on Cambridge Heath Road London E1 to get refund, when I went there , I couldn’t believe So call Donkey Manager told me he can’t exchange or refund I asked him way he keep telling me because it’s apples products take it to apple, seriously I’ve bought the item from Argos they telling me this kind of rubbish and they treat their customers like this.. Avoid

Bought a hoover cyclone wireless vacuum cleaner quite expensive an hoover people gave awful customer service. The thing broke (the inside and screws are cheap china plastic) that break by the slightest touch very disappointing stay away from this item! Model is fd22g 001

Really bad customer service due to… Really bad customer service due to COVID. Bought an item that didn’t work or didn’t do what it was meant to. Took it back 3 days later and they said this I couldn’t return it due to COVID and I’d have to wait till the stores opened back up. I was never informed that if I wasn’t happy with the item that I’d have to wait to take it back. This should have been said before buying the item. Took the item back today from when I was aware and able to take the item back as I do not drive and have to take public transport. They refused to give the refund as it had gone over the 30day period. I explained to them that I tried to take it back but it was refused due to COVID and they didn’t believe me. Obviously there would be cctv evidence of me taking it back I’ve got the time and date. They refused a fund and offered a gift card for the amount. I didn’t pay with a gift card so the refund shouldn’t be payed back with a gift card. Fear that I would get nothing if I didn’t take it, I took the gift card. Called customer service they said we cannot do anything only the store can make the decisions. What’s the point in a customer service Argos ? The lady on the customer service called Debbie was extremely rude and blunt. So according to Argos I’m not getting a refund. It’s a shame as I regularly order from here and because of COVID there customer service has become really poor when you think because of these are times they would be more understanding and informative about what’s going on. Will never order from Argos again if they don’t refund the money. Don’t want a gift card !!! Not everyone has £140 to give away to you for things they don’t want. We have the right to return items and get the refund the way we paid for it.

Very bed customer service, staff and manager are very rude they are not helpful at all. Shame of you Mr manager if can't do you job properly you shlodnt work in this position. If your staff had problems with customer at list you try to help yours customer, argos give you job an a good position for help there customers and make there business good not to upset there customers and loss there business. argos has good reputation because of wrong people in high position only for this reason they will lose there reputation.

In and out in a flash ! Hardly any queue, got served so quickly! It's a collection only branch which makes it such a smooth transaction..100% the item you want is there because you've ordered it. Love these collection only branches, fantastic idea!

Worse experience in Argos ever , British African lady working there on her early 20s, what a miserable person , bought a phone , wasn't working properly ( couldn't make payment with starling Bank , every other bank was fine , Huawei mate 20 X ) she told me ." Is nothing wrong with the phone itself ( excuse me, I can't make payments? ) 2nd you broken the seal of package therefore I can't sell to anybody ) Don't you have 14 days in eventuality something is wrong with the product or is not performing as advertised to given them back ? Says on the receipt And how on earth do you find out something is wrong or not performing as expected without opening or unwrapping? She had a terrible attitude above all and the sense of superiority above all .

Complaint for Argos managers and customer service! Such a bad service reception at reception of Whitechapel Argos in Sainsburys on 4 July 2019 around 10 AM. I ordered dinner set and couple of more things. Since delivery wasn't available I decided to collect and when arrived there they requested my physical ID. When asked why, they said your dinner set has dinner knives... Which makes sense in case if Argos informed me well (via phone or with big and visible font at the top of the confirmation email, and not at the very bottom with very tiny font). I didn't have it with me so I asked them if my ID electronically with date of birth is OK and they replied NO! I was very frustrated that neither I had a phone call nor it was clearly shown in email about ID and they were refusing to give dinner set, drier and baby bath just because of some dinner knives in the set, so I asked them to remove the knives and I would take everything else with me, so they again said NO! And that I don't look well over 18 while I'm 25, I had my online passport with me and customer service refused and didn't even look at it. Worst experience with Argos, so I will never comeback to Argos anymore and will be using Sainsbury's and Wilko from now on.

Would've been so convenient to have Argos within Sainsburys 2 in 1 and we shop here weekly. However the customer service is appalling. 1 of the asian workers who was a hijabi was extremely rude. Not helpful at all and made the entire returns experience into a huge fiasco. Went the second day to click and collect and another staff member had the same attitude. Sort it out. Send your team for customer service trainings they're in dire need of it. Have been shopping at Argos for 20 years and have always had a good experience.

Very worst experience I had in Argos store in Sainsbury’s Cambridge Health Road, London, E1 today on 28/12/2018. I brought 49” Panasonic TV on 26/12/2018. I changed my mind and bring the TV to return to get my money back today on 28/12/2018. I mean within two days. When I arrived at the store, than the supervisor rejected and he didn’t n’t take the TV. He said they couldn’t take it return as I didn’t buy this product from their store and they don’t have enough space to keep it lol, just think only one TV not enough space for that. I requested him and explained that I need to go to work as I don’t have enough time to go to other store, also I explained I paid £10 for Mini Cab Driver, if I go to another store I have to pay more £10. He rejected my request on my face and told me to call to the manufacturer, I mean to the Panasonic Co. How dare he is....? However, I was hopeless and I called to Panasonic Customer Service and discussed the situation. The customer service said they couldn’t help me as I bought the Product from Argos. I have visited another Argos and return the product. Summery is I didn’t use the product but I lose £20 and time and the result is I arrived at work about an hour late. Never go again and stickily no recommendations.....

Horrible service. Unorganized and absolutely impolite. Ordered online "collect first thing tomorrow morning", I had to wait 40 minutes at the shop to collect the item. Half of the items were not delivered and I had to solicit. No apologies from the staff.

very poor service, they don't collect items which are " too big" ( in my case a small set of speakers), but there is no written policy about this. they just send the items back to the original seller, making the whole process very long. Waste of time.
