Had a nursery appointment to learn about prams and car seats, the lady was incredibly helpful and informative and they had a space where I could sit and have a break and offered water. All of these small gestures make a big difference when you’re 8 months pregnant so I really appreciated the in-store experience

The furniture shopping experience was horrible. The showroom furniture was pretty beat up and worn. The lighting was poor, and the options for sofas and chairs just weren’t that great, especially for their prices. We were happier and had more options at DFS.

I enjoy going into this store. There are very friendly staff ready to help if you need any assistance. You can find pretty much anything. There are lifts available for people in need and mostly items available in store and if not you can easily order it and pick it up in this store easily. I love browsing around. It is pleasant to be there and plenty of choices available. There are toilets for customers also cafee where you can sit and rest. What more would you need. I would totally recommend it. You wont regret visiting.

It's a good department store. Less crowded than it used to be but that's the effect of online buying and Covid-19 restrictions for you. It's not cheap, albeit never knowingly undersold and the staff tend to know their stuff. It's reliable for what it sells - that's why people used it, and probably still use it.

We booked a nursery advice appointment and the staff assigned to us, Matilda, was extremely knowlegable and polite. If you are expecting, I highly recommend booking an appointment as this John Lewis has a broad range and the staff provide an enormous amount of useful information!

John Lewis much loved shop and now no longer undersold is just about the most anodyne shop ever. Polite assistants oops partners, clean but ultimately boring. Apologies to all those lovely people who see it as the gold standard. Why did I go there? Because there is a pandemic on and I knew that it would be empty and my partner was given a load of gift vouchers when he retired. I bought nothing. Amazon were offering the same items (headphones)at 30% cheaper.

Great stuff! Great service!!!! I was there 10 mins before closing, had to buy tv urgent. There was a manager named Gem I think. He was more than an excellent, helped me a lot, with patience and smile! Great guy!

Really disappointed with their kids shoe selection. Firstly two members of staff sent me to different floors when I asked them where is the kids shoe section and when I finally found it there was barely anything to choose from. I normally go to brent cross JL to do shopping for my children and they're great, definitely won't be coming back to Stratford to do any shopping for my family.

They are absolutely useless and will not help you with any problems you encounter with your phone. They are thieves and will try to charge you even if the issue is to do with manufacturing and when you complain they will ask you to go to apple store and deal with it yourself! So why buy from them if you are going to end up going to apple yourself and deal with it?

1. Had a damage on my new phone I bought, and instead of shipping me a new one and then asking back the old one like I had with Apple, they took my old phone and I needed to wait 5 days without a phone!
2. They promised me when I changed the phone that I will still be able to claim headphones... whatever... and when I tried to claim I just couldn't!
But when I call them that don't help me!!

Got the exact product I wanted (tablet cover) however had to search as they are low down under a counter, not on an open hanging display like most are. Seem to be separated by product manufacturers rather than grouping similar products together.

John Lewis never fails to provide a great service and is not expensive given that in general they offer a John Lewis extended guarantee on many of their lines which accounts for a great value purchase in my book.
With the high street suffering it is good to see John Lewis busy and we never hesitate to go buy our electrical and other goods from there although our usual port of call is their store up at Brent Cross.
Highly recommended is a very good shopping experience and you get to talk to real people not fixated on some computer screen.

I liked it. But John Lewis is expensive, very expensive. They advertise that they will match any lower price that you find, but that doesn't do any good for store brands or other items manufactured/sold exclusively at JL - which is most of what they carry. Nor do they carry a lot of the current trending stuff, which they leave to their competitors. Leggings for example.
But their stores are nice and staff very friendly, attributable perhaps to the fact that the associates are part owners in the company. This particular store at Westfield though does not have the depth and breadth of stock that their Oxford Street location does, nor Blue Water as I recall. This is probably attributable to the demographics of the shoppers at Westfield. In any case, it's a pleasant shopping experience if you need something that only JL has and you are in the area.

I visited on Friday (3rd of Jan) and was on the hunt for a small sauce dish (a surprisingly hard item to obtain). I found one but it should've been part of a set and was chipped, however, it was still, in my eyes, extremely cute and desirable. The set was supposed to be £20 so I thought maybe I could grab it for a fiver or something.
I approached a member of staff, cute, slightly older but not like old old, and enquired about the object. To my immense SHOCK & DELIGHT he said it'd end up in the bin anyway, wished me a happy new year and then offered it to me for FREE. Ooh girl let me tell you I was THRILLED! He even wrapped it up for me. What a legend.
