Was really patient with me, kind, cheerful and even went the extra mile to help wrap up the present I bought for my lil nephew. Really appreciate that. A 12/10 customer services for me

I get my items fast enough and some people complain that they wait too long but you got to understand it's a small store and you're going to have to wait longer if there is loads of people and cutbacks on staff in every store

This Argos has terrible service and clueless staff and I expect any other location in London will be much better. eBay package pickups are always an enormous hassle and seemingly fine elsewhere. The queue signage is utterly meaningless.

Read all the negative reviews but I've been visiting this branch quite a few times recently and I've had nothing but excellent service. Perhaps the team has been trained or replaced. Either way, I only have good things to say about the service I've received. They staff members that have served me have been polite, attentive and obliging. Keep up the good work!

Terrible service. I had bad experience from Argos Holloway , this time I had bad experience from Argos Angel. I went to the branch to complaining about the delivery cancellation , spoke with the lady behind the Till and the manager was standing next to her when Manager heard the complain she went away from the desk. If argos using DHL delivery service (which is third party) I understand if it’s second party (main dealer) simply I can shop online don’t need to shop from Argos, secondly if only take 20 minutes for a refund why telling me to Waite 24 hours? Which I paid in cash. No more Argos two bad experience in a row. Make me to woken up early morning and wasting my time. Bought and collected same item cheaper from ......

Extremely rude! I purchased an item online and on the email it said to bring the ref numbers and my argos card. Went there, did that and received a confirmation email that my item was collected.. but I didn’t ! They kept asking my for the phone number on the account and since it was an old one I couldn’t remember it. They told me it was for security reasons and they couldn’t confirm it. I showed my driving license as well to prove it was me. Eventually they handed my item, after a lot of frustration! Purchased exactly the same item 4 months ago and didn’t get all the fuss about phone numbers etc. Just the email of confirmation and the Argos card.

Awful customer service. Do not go to this Argos - literally any other store is better! I was told to wait in the pickup queue, and I didn’t even get a waiting number...which meant that it took an hour for them to deal with any existing and new customers before I was served. Then I was told “why didn’t you go to the cashier and get your order sorted?”. I didn’t BECAUSE YOU TOLD ME TO WAIT!! All I wanted was to buy a video game and it took well over an hour.

Appalling customer service for the most part. We ordered 4 white goods on the 30.1. They delivered a smaller and cheaper dishwasher, and got a reply several times that it could not be changed. Finally someone agreed to replace it for the one we bought. The fridge arrived on the 19.2 and it said online it would take 2 days!! They did not give us any excuse or explanation. The cooker arrived over one month later and it said 2 weeks when we bought it! No excuse or explanation. They forgot to send a technician to fix the dishwasher. They are disorganised, and unhelpful, and have huge delays.

I have only every used this Argos but on 2 out of 3 occasions the items that I have ordered have not arrived on the date that they were supposed to. Was told that there was a problem with the system and that they didn't even know where the items were and to come back tomorrow. One I had to cancel as I needed it by that day and the other I am still waiting for. What is the point of fast track or delivery times if they don't mean anything? Staff were okay, not terribly helpful but then there isn't all that much they could do.

I ordered a Samsung Galaxy S9+ for £699.95 on 14/06/2019 for collection from Angel Islington Argos. I collected the order on Friday afternoon and returned to work. I opened the sealed box to discover that the phone model inside was a fake plastic display model and had no electronic components. The rest of the boxes contents appeared as they should. I returned to the Argos store to explain the situation, but was met with disbelief by the staff and duty manager, who insinuate I had deceitfully removed the model and replaced it with the fake display model. I found their tone of voice and manner to be dismissive, unsympathetic and accusatory. I tried to seek a resolution to the incident, but was told by staff the phone would need to be sent of for investigation and that I would not receive a refund until after the investigation took place. I explained I was upset about having spent £700 on a phone and that I was going to be left out of pocket, but the staff did not seem to care. Only after persistently explaining my situation did the duty manager check on the store computer system and discover that the item had been retuned previously by another customer and that the previous customer was probably the culprit. The tone of the manager then changed to a more apologetic one. I then received an offer of a replacement handset or a refund, I wanted the replacement but it turned out the model was not in stock and so disappointingly had to settle for a refund. As a regular longterm customer of Argos for both personal and business purchases, I was very disappointed by the lack of attention to detail shown by the staff who processed the original return, the phone should have been thoroughly checked before accepting the return and being resold. I subsequently bought a fake phone in good faith from Argos to replace a lost business phone. I choose Argos for the speed and convenience of purchases but this transaction proved to be a waste of my time as a director of a business. I also found my treatment by staff upon returning the phone at the Islington Store to be upsetting and embarrassing, and was made to feel like I had committed a crime in front of other customers, when my only aim was to receive a replacement/refund and to highlight the problem to staff so future customers were not disappointed. Will be submitting a formal complaint.

Came into Argos Angel Islington to return an item that was not working for us, instead the manager refused to refund the item because of the packaging being torn open. Like seriously?? Is this a joke? The manager was very rude and abrupt. After this experience we will no longer be using Argos; we will use Amazon who provide a far better customer service and don’t have a stupid returns policy.

This shop is a joke. I understand that it gets busy but the way the staff act and offer "customer service" I don't understand how they where even employed in the retail sector. I paid for my items waited 20-30 mins for it to come up then when it came they gave me 3 of the products I had ordered but 2 of the same things I asked if I could change and was told I would need to join the back of the queue!!

Terrible customer service! Came to Argos to return an item and what was a very simple procedure became a real nightmare. The manager, lady called FERINAHAZ, was not only rude talking over me and not listening to my problem, but she also didn`t even try to help me. It was noticeable the lack of confidence of the manager as she didn`t know her own company policies, and for that reason she preferred me to set a complain with her name on Argos customer service by telephone instead of her offering any help. I have never seen anything like this before. In a few words I can describe my experience at Argos Angel: bad management, rude manager, short-staffed and customers waiting very long to get served, unhelpful.

After waiting 15 minutes just to pay for goods today and still not getting served. Along with witnessing customers asking for their money back as they have been waiting so long for their goods, I ended up walking out. One of the staff commented there was only two of them working when there was clearly three staff! Shop lights were flickering on and off and most of the touch screens were not working too. Have to say it really is not a very well run shop and probably the worst I've walked in to in years! Very shocking for such a well known company.

Worst Argos I have ever visited and will NEVER return there. Worst customer experience I have ever had in a Argos store. I purchased a Wacom (836/5204) on 18/09/18 from the Westfield branch. On the product description at the time when I purchased it said it was Bluetooth compatible. I purchased it, took it home to use and then realised it doesn’t have Bluetooth as described. I went to the Angel branch today (20/09/18) to get a refund, I had to wait 10 minutes for a manager then when I finally got seen to by the manager and I explained why I wanted a refund she doubted me and took me to the in store tablets to confirm if what I said was true. Obviously Argos have changed their error so when we looked on the in store tablet there was no mention of this product having Bluetooth. I said to the they must have changed it and she replied “They would not change it in two days” and although she never actually said it, she’s implying that I was lying. Then she just made a simple refund turn into a 20 minute process telling me that she can’t find the details of my purchase on the Argos computer system even though I had a receipt the proves I have purchased it. I feel like she was making it difficult for me to get my money back which I have every right to as the product isn’t fit for MY purpose. This manager does not care about her customers and this is evident as I saw how she treated another customer waiting in the queue waiting to see her. She very rude and acting like Argos is her business. The company policy is that they offer a 30 day exchange or full refund.

Appalling customer service, rude and unhelpful manager. Went there to get refund at 5.45pm, was told a manager was needed. Female manager comes up at 6.08pm who says she needs to call Home Delivery to confirm cancellation before refund can be issued. She calls and after one minute on the phone says “sorry they say there is a 20 minute wait, and we are now closed”. Even though I have had to wait for her for over 20 minutes, because of the appalling customer care. Her manner was rude, unhelpful, patronising and boardered on lazy. Telling me I could cross LONDON to another branch or return the following day. When I passed the shop later at 6.30pm it was still serving a customer in there and so could have easily dealt with my refund. I’m in shock at the appalling store and especially this manager’s attitude.

Not as crowded in the early hours but in the afternoon is as most Argos stores and the staff is really helpful. I accidentally bought a wrong product, opened the box and they hustle free gave me a refund to buy a new one.

Terrible customer service. A queue for the collect now (paid online) a queue out the door to pay and an equally lomg queue for the collect. 5 staff, 1 was on the phone, 1 was who knows where, one was getting stuff from the back very slowly and two aimlessly moving around between computers and aisles. I don't know if they really had no idea what they were doing or didn't care. None of the signage was working either to show where people should be. All round rubbish don't use unless you have to.

Staff are totally not interested in there job at all wouldn't surprise me if they were stoned by the way they act, it's all so slow and no one not even the person in the back as a clue on how long it will take to receive your item so be prepared for a long wait, I.e order now and your receive it by Christmas. A total joke of an argos

Terrible customer service always. The staff are not very welcoming and don't really make any effort to help customers. Ive had to return/exchange many products from this store due to damage and often have a lot of trouble doing so even when I have every proof of purchase and was in the store 10 minutes prior. Just from every experience i've had here at this store, makes going to argos very unpleasant and pretty much time wasting.

Up there with the worst customer service experiences you'll ever recieve. Tried to return some knoves with a 5 year guarantee and would not take them because it was with the manufacturer... argos was the manufacturer! There solution was to stand me in the corner and put me on the phone with customer services and just rang and rang.
