This is by far my favourite store in London! Everything about it is magical and dreamy, the staff are always so friendly, polite and most of all very knowledgable about the products in store. The food is not only presented beautifully but tastes amazingly. This is the only place I buy my tea from, my personal favourite is the Royal Blend. Thank you kindly for your originality and making me feel so special every time I visit!

I love this store. It is decorated to perfection. Warm - clean - and tidy. Delicate and exquisite products. Perfect gifts to buy for weddings and to bring back as gifts abroad. It always looks festive and luxurious. 5 floors of beautiful things to buy.

A quintessentially English experience that you can't miss. The store is full of amazing teas and treats of high quality. It is a must to wander around and check the luxury goods and excellent options specially for gifts. The whole bulging is a foodie haven from the lower ground market to the upper level. The Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon was inaugurated by the Queen and the best way to get there is booking in advance. The place is charming and cosy, the service is quite attentive, the food is good and the whole ambiance is unique. Almost every day they have a piano player during the afternoon.

Fortnum & Mason is one of those places in London with a certain magic and charm - especially around Christmas! We are such avid fans of everything F&M - from their iconic hampers to their products and afternoon tea! They also produce and sell the only champagne brand not from a specific vineyard that we actually like! If you're lucky enough to visit after Halloween, you'll be greeted by the most festive setting around the shop and a visit to the Christmas floor is a must! We love love love everything F&M! The quality of products are second to none.

Such a wonderful place, with great customer service, yes the prices are quite high, but it is some SERIOUSLY high quality product. The store inside is so beautifully decorated, did not wish to leave it. Fantastic selection of products to select from, gifts for loved ones etc, a place worth visiting at least the once!

Heaven for luxury food hunters. Although it is not as impressive as the endless food hall of Harrods, it still provides you with that post-pandemic feeling of luxury shopping, with prices being about 5 times higher for the same products as M&S offers.

I visited just before Christmas 2020. It is like Charlie and the chocolate factory. This place is must see shop. I had something to eat in one of restaurants . I was able to manage oysters, very fresh. I was apprehensive because I cannot always cope with shell fish. I managed to buy some lovely Christmas gifts. I will be visiting again soon. I discovered a outstanding passion fruit curd, I need to replenish stocks.

Very posh and expensive London landmark shop. Most people just go in, are shocked by the prices and come out with a small pack of biscuits or teabags for £15. Men’s toilets are on the ground floor at the back left and ladies on the upper floors at the same spot. Probably the best loos in London! There are some nice food and drinks bars in here serving things like sushi and oysters.

Lots of products besides tea are offered here. I’ve been to London a couple of times and this is always a must-visit every time. Some of the teas are amazing as well as the chocolates. There are also festive products during holidays. Definitely recommend for buying gifts or for yourself!

Great experience, we even managed to catch 4pm tea tasting and a biscuit. A lovely shop, to browse and buy special presents, gift and treats to self.

Beautiful department store with an extensive range of products. From tea and biscuits to cutlery and crockery, they have high quality items. It's not the place to go for your daily shop, as its considerably pricey, but its a good store if you want to treat yourself or your loved ones.

An amazingly decorated, grand department store located on bustling Piccadilly for those who want to spend any left-over holiday money they may have left, or just want to splash a bit of cash on luxuries like fancy chocolates, jams, wines, hampers etcetera. The mood of the store revolves around seasons and holidays, with especially wonderful Christmas displays in December. Can be pretty busy during Christmas and Easter times though due to popularity. Located basically equidistant between Green Park and Piccadilly Circus underground stations. The store also has a tea room, ice cream parlour and cafe/restaurant (if you want a bite to eat). The cafe serves very nice food, coffees and ice cream. (Never been to the tea room myself but I’m sure it’s nice as the F&M tea itself is excellent). 5/5.

Simply the most decadent biscuits and delicious teas you'll find in all of London. Browsing the store is an experience in itself. Their sparkling tea with no alcohol is refreshing and light, tasting just like champagne. The bottom level is a foodie's dream. Bio dairy, meats, produce, and snacks are a plenty. Freshly made pasta with homemade sauces is a great take-away lunch. Fortnum and Mason is a must stop for any visit to London.

Brilliant place for Christmas shopping. It always impresses friends when you give them something from Fortnum and Mason. ( The Royal shop!) Especially the confectionery and drinks sections. The other departments offer an excellent selection of gift ideas too.

I may be working class, but readers, please do not confuse that with me not enjoying the occasional day dream about living on the other side. And Fortnum & Mason is the perfect backdrop for this. Beautifully presented, with smiley, dressed as in a Cinderella fairy tale, very helpful staff. Every sweet, every tea, every incredible preserve (mermelade for the likes of me) and an endless list of treats, are memorably tasty. Guaranteed. The price? It's all about perspective. If you are wealthy, you won't even raise an eyebrow when presented with the bill. However, if you are closer to being a financially-challenged person like me, it will shock you. BUT as sure as day follows night, you will forget about the cost as soon as you taste your treasure. I may not be able to afford going there every day, but come Christmas, birthdays, weddings or sending a food basket to someone in hospital, and I'm always the first in the queue. See you there ????

I went for a Sunday stroll with London being in tier 4. Fortnum & Mason. Christmas display was a delight to look at. So decided to pop inside and treat myself to a few luxury food item. Their Traditional Mince Pies is like eating a piece of heaven they have a light pastry and mouth watering filling. How can I go back to normal mince pies again. Tier 4 is not going to ruin my Christmas the other purchases will definitely make me smile.

It is a must see during Christmas period. If you are a tea lover, then Fortnum & Mason is a must duting the whole year. They have a really large and fine selection of different teas, cookies, sweets, accessories... During the pre-Covid era they also had a restaurant where you could eat, we hope we go back to normality soon and they can open again. See photos for the 2020 Christmas decorations ;)

Ordered for mother’s day 9 days ago, not arrived, call them and get told they have no record of it even though I have an email confirmation. Shocking. Mother’s Day tomorrow and now I’m shafted. Won’t be using these again utterly appalling

I highly recommend the afternoon tea experience at the Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing. It's also worth noting that it's unlimited afternoon tea so get more of the food you love, and if there's any left over, they're happy to provide you with boxes and a bag to take it home with you!

Always a highlight, it’s a real pleasure to shop there, and they have lovely packaging so it’s a great place to buy chocolate, jam, tea etc as presents. Also rather good stationery selection, advent calendars are always excellent, and The Parlour’s ice cream is great too. The food hall is definitely on the expensive side but has a really good selection and some quite niche products, so it’s worth going for a treat.

As always everything was pristine, the staff are wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. The products are second to none and the range of everything is extensive and incredibly sourced, the name exudes elegance and they continue to keep up the traditions without losing that personal experience.

Amazing place to buy Christmas presents and still open! The charming old lady in the til on the menswear floor made my day as she was very nice and helpful. I appreciate the store having senior elderly staff as well as it reminds me of the old world charm and traditional British manners, a shop fit for the Queen herself. Shopping here is an experience, like being transported in a beautiful Victorian setting, well worth a visit!

Ok firstly if your hoping to pick up a bargain....it's not the place to go, it is pricey. But if you want to give someone a nice treat or purely treat your self when it comes to food and drink, then this the place to go...picked up some lovely cheeses, meats, teas and biscuits to make up a quality hamper. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would advise you go in the week, rather than a Saturday as it's a very popular place for tourists.

Why come to fortnums? Apart from the amazing selection of teas, coffees, cakes, biscuits and other sundries... The absolutely beautiful décor. It is so grand, the entire building and it's displays are so beautiful, they go back to a time when there was no such thing as minimalist. The staff still look the part, dressed in morning coats and trousers. Even Harrods has slacked on the dress code for staff sadly. I love going to fortnums it may not be very big but it is very grand. Always worth a visit if you are coming to London. Please like my review if you found it helpful. Thank you.

A nice staff 1st floor told us about this restaurant that we can try all variety of teas and cakes. We decided to give it a try. It was quite an experience to learn England’s culture since this is my first time in Uk. All scones and cakes were delicious!! Service was just so so once they know we were first time here. We had to wait a long time to get teas、 scones refills. My server wasn’t really paying much attention to us compare to other English customers. But he did show up at last to led us know this table was reserved by another customers. The downstairs department store was amazing!! Staffs were really nice. I wanna to buy everything from them. Just department store will have 5 stars.

Very bad experience with wine department. We bought a bottle of Champagne the day before Easter 2021. The sommelier of the wine department could not not give us any advice when we asked, and at the end we bought a mid expensive bottle but we had a surprise today... we had to throw it away because of an evident cork smell and flavour... Of course is not their fault, but we are curious to see how Fortnum and Mason will repair to this inconvenience.
