no signs to indicate the pay till and order till. Just a small space with a long queue and two shop assistants who were incompetent clueless. Went there to purchase headphones....Didn't in the end because I was in the wrong queue

Returned a product here 2 months ago, was told warranty would refresh. Item was defective after 2 months of replacement so just tried to return. Staff are clueless completely unhelpful. The manager told me my only option is to send them off which takes 2 weeks? Even though I had them replaced on the spot 2 months earlier in the same store! Said to me the reason for this is because there staff are not trained properly. Even said to me if she wasn't there I would've had them replaced that day, what a joke! Wont buy from here again for sure. If my item is defective you have an obligation as a company to fulfill the warranty I shouldn't have to send them off and be without a product for 2 weeks!

I bought the product expecting good professional service but I've been very let down by Argos. I took the product back to replace for a different model due to the original item being very poor quality and the store agreed to replace but told me to take it back to another store as they did not have the item in stock. After taking time off work to walk to the other store I was told they would not replace it as the product was opened. I would strongly recommend using Amazon instead of Argos due to their client friendly service.

Try to avoid unless you really have no other option. The stuff is rude, it looks like I own them much. If you want to return stuff, they will try their best NOT to help you. Their argument is “it is not a strong reason”. Their on store return policy is poor. My advice: try buy online first, they have 7 days return policy. If you want to buy in store, try other shops

The store isn't very big but it's totally fine as I imagine most people don't spend a lot of time in there and if you're like me and pre-ordered online it's even faster. The store looks quite modern and minimalistic which I liked.

The place gets crowded really quickly. I went into buy some rings. The lady who was serving me fed me wrong information that i could order the size i want and they will be delivered by 4pm the same day. She reserved the rings for me at a different store when i went they were out of stock and i was tokd that wad the wrong protocol. Nothing was done to assist me or help me at all. Unfriendly customer service.

Helpful to collect due to where I work, sadly the staff members need an update on customer service skills. One staff member when i first walked in waiting in line, I spotted her rolling her eyes at a customer who wasn't sure on what she was saying. Thankfully I got served by someone else who was a bit distracted at barking at the other employees (one that looked like she was new). Was left waiting for my item that I could see on the shelf behind this other staff member who was rolling her eyes at customers. I approached to say that's my item and the woman snatched the receipt out of my hand and didn't say anything. When I asked for a bag I was told in a sarcastic way 'they are 5p now you know'. Will use Argos again, but not Cheapside

Easy to get to that's about it. Rude and incompetent staff who give your items to other people. Fast track never ready even when ordering hours before collection. Waited 15 min for my pan set, when I complained they went to find it and took another 10 minutes to track it down and they realised it had been given to another customer who had just paid 1 minute earlier whose other items had not arrived yet. USELESS.

Very poor service and not for the first time at this particular Argos. I appreciate there were a lot of people collecting / buying items due to black Friday and cyber Monday but it was very chaotic in the store, as there are no queing systems, no organisation. Staff are not proactive and did nothing to bother to sort this out. On another and less busy occasion, staff v slow to respond and lack concentration. This the only Argos store where I have found service to be lacking. Maybe the small space does not help matters.

The staff are pleasant enough but the service is shoddy to say the least. I went 3 times to collect a reservation I had made only to be told that it was not there. When I asked on the last 2 occasions why and can't someone be called to find out where it is, I got the classic 'computer says no' response. On the last 2 occasions I asked the girls serving to ask the manager if anything could be done.....'manager says no' was the response. They then suggested that it was available at the cannon street branch, why don't you go there? I kid you not, they said that lol So finally I ring customer services who were no better and I suggested they call cannon street and get it delivered to Cheapside branch for me.....revolutionary I know but it worked. So when I finally go to collect it I ask to see the manager, I'm standing there why they have a private conference at the till to discuss the fact that they are going to offer me a 10% discount. Did I ask for that? no!.......So I calmly let them finish discussing what they believed to be a solution and the 'manager' I say that loosely starts to approach the till and starts without saying a thing to me, to do something to the till. So I ask.....Excuse me are you doing some sort of 10% discount or something?......Yes I'm told........I didn't ask for that, I asked to speak to the manager. She proudly points to her badge and tells me she's the manager of 2 branches.....really?....I explained she can keep the 10% I'm not interested, what I'm interested in is the fact that the previous 2 occasions when I asked the girls serving to find out if the manager could do anything, why did she not feel that she should come up and speak to me, who knows, take my number and sort it out and call me and you know what she said and kept saying 'My staff never told me the full story'....really? Your staff never told you, this guy is back for the second time and this guy is back for the third time? So it's your staffs fault??? and she just had this blank expression on her face nodding.....well done you, blame your staff for your mistakes!!! I loved the look on the girl standing next to her who went down earlier to talk to her, it had a 'Yes I f*****g did tell you' look all over it lol The place is a joke

disappointed.Lunchtime service was good even tho i waited i thought as i wanted to buy a ring and said they dont have it but Cannon Street has it. They reserved it. i went to Cannon street branch waited to find out that they do no stock jewellery. wasted my whole lunchtime waiting around and going from one branch to another to find out that dont even stock the item. Was very unhaappy. waste of my time.

Created unnecessary hassle when I went to return kindle!!! It wasnt used even once..it waa just opened to test n i dint like the interface so went to return! The staff said no..since it has finger prints it cannit be returned(utter nonsense)..there werent any!!! All papers,boxes everything was there but still the staff created unnecssary nuisance. The return policy is not at all user friendly!!!!!!
