This is a very small argos but I have aways found it to be the most efficient. I never have to wait long at all and much prefer to visit this store than the one in old street which is bigger.

Last night(black Friday) I placed an order for collection at the Whitechapel road store, London E1 (Store no. 4133) and received a reservation number when completing the order. Ready for me to pick at the store. Late on that morning, I received a text say my order has been cancelled, with no real reason behind it. What a waste of time, they can’t deal with the volume of customer or demand, that’s a fact. Better dealing with online companies (Amazon or EBay or even Gumtree), at less your order something that is in stock, and is truly available.
Left a bad taste for many shoppers today, Last place to order anything again for Xmas/New year

Costumer service was polite, helpful and I was very impressed with the staff at the Whitechapel Argos Branch. Very grateful for the service and I would recommend Argos Whitechapel at any time to family and friends.

Worst Argos ever, management needs to realise whose manner he's working at, the fool needs to behave and work like a human or even better a Slave, waste-man. Definately organised theft within the staff members, and they accuse customers of tempering and damaging items and bringing them back, why would a person waste their own time in doing that! Run your mouth again fool and see whats coming your way (large gorilla looking bangali manager)

No issues, smiling staff. Not sure why people give it such a bad review. It is Argos and not a restaurant. I used the fast track and it was fast. I was in and out in 5 mins or less. Girl serving was polite and Courteous she even cracked a joke despite the store being very busy.

Please anyone who is looking at these comment trust them. I met the rudest and worst staffs in this shop. Trust these comments that their manager are the most rude, impolite person I have ever met in the whole UK. Even the homeless people on the street are nicer than him. I was argueing and crying in the store and he looks happy about annoying me. He speaks the rudest English I have ever heard in any shops on UK. Just never go there please!!!! I will recommend the argos in stratford.

Very bad customer service. The girls work there, they think they are gangsters! She gave me just one call with my item, as I was busy with my child, before even I turn around and figure out whether it's my item or not she put it back. I went to the desk but she left the desk already! She served one more customer while I am standing at the desk. I was served without even a single word or body language!!!!

Store manager (I think he is store manager) his names ray he is worst staff ever very rude has a very bad attitude I was treated horribly by him made to look like a thief even after I gave all my details for the fast track and snatched the items from my hand. Absolutely unbelievable!!

The worst store I have ever been. Very rude staff not helpful at all hardly say even hi. Once you ask for the manager a guy who is leaning on the wall comes to you..doesnt speak english properly and only repeating two sentences. Ridiculous, unprofessional, untrained people. Try to avoid to go there!

When I go to Argos, I like to dance, but this time the staff stopped me and told me I should feel ashamed of myself. When I told them there was no shame in expressing myself through dance they tackled me. They're lucky I had the flu that day or I'd have made a scene, but as it was I sneezed on them and they got sick. Ha ha.

Thr store is rather small compared to the old street store. The wait time is longer specially during lunch time period. Its a good idea to click and collect rather than wait or check in store. Alternatively, you can check online via "store" availability.
Other sevices argos offer are order in store near you and collect.

Appalling customer service. Yesterday I was assured a product was there, only to discover it wasn't when I got to the store. That, however, was a minor detail compared to the disgraceful way I was treated by Scott who works there. He was rude, had a terrible attitude and zero customer service skills. He even refused to speak to Argos' own customer service team on the phone about the issue (I phoned them and wanted to hand my phone to him). Needless to say I have made my purchases at another retailer and won't be buying anything there again.

A very outdated Argos store I'd rather avoid. The queue is always long. The staff seem to be really stressed as it's forever busy. Once you've queued to buy your item, you can then wait another 5-10mims to receive it. A little revamp could really help this Argos out. I only use it when items are not in other stores nearby

I can not believe that a multi-billion company has such a store. The store was completely packed with no space for movement. They need to hire more staff. I felt sorry for the staff members as they were working hard and fast as they could while being verbally abused!

Never enough staff manning the tills and the ones that are are very rude. Far too cramped! And there seems to be no system for collecting your item. Even once your number is called they get annoyed at you for coming to the collection point. It's just plain stupid and infuriating. I know a trip to Argos is not meant to be a glorious experience but this store is like the seventh circle of hell.

what ever you do not buy anything from Argos, the product arrived damaged and really poor quality.
I arranged for collection which they said would be two weeks which was bad enough but they have now not turned up twice on the day arranged. I have had two wasted days waiting three massive boxes sitting in my flat and over £200 worse off.
The worst decision i ever made, DO NO make the same mistake as me!!!!

This guy called aminoor hes short, slim and keeps long beard needs to definitely learn about how to provide good customer service before supervising others and also he needs to learn to say Sorry when he realises his mistake instead of defending his arrogance with lame excuse infront of his female collegues. This argos should be more mixed because sometimes when a person works with his own culture people they can end up behaving abit nasty and get away.

I bought some Thonet & Vander speakers....got home to find there was paint on the speaker cables, scratches on the subwoofer, no instructions, broken polystyrene.....and to top it all off...when i took it back for a refund i was told it takes 5 days to get my money back.
Also, when checking other items for an exchange, they were out of stock everywhere....
Will never buy from here again.

Hi, three weeks before i went to your white chapel store to change my iphone 4 charger (bush) it was not working but one staff( Mirza )he refused to change that and he told me it was changed 4 times, when he realised it was the first time he said it was not the problem of them. After 1 week i changed that charger from Warren street Argos..Look Im doing a small business my all contacts in that phone was switched off around 1 week and i spent another 15 pound for the new charger, but Im not wondering because all your white chapel reviews are not really good, with this type of rude staff how can you get good reviews ?
