Not very helpful or understanding, I wanted to exchange a broken item to which I purchased, with the insurance in case it gets broken.
The manager said they don’t do exchanges or refunds.
I was advised that they only do click and collect at the moment and are not doing any refunds or exchanges. I asked for the telephone number of the head office and was told by the manager that I am wasting my time, as nothing is going to be done! The only way this is going to get sorted is if I buy another one and click and collect the item.
I am left with a broken item with no exchange or refunds in site.
I have contacted the head office and was advised that I will get a call back and a refund and that was on 8 March to date I am still left with my item that is broken. I am still no closer to getting this issue sorted out.

Very busy largish Argos store. Its got a fairly big stock room which is open (never seen one like that before - bit like seeing behind the Wizards curtain!! Some of the magic lost!) V friendly and helpful staff around to support customers. Collection is actually v quick. I remember waiting what seemed like ages when I was a child...all done in a couple of minutes here. Spot on!!

Clean, inviting store since the refurb. I haven't stepped foot in years but today's experience has been a pleasant one. Lady at the door was welcoming and directed me to the online paid tills efficiently. There wasn't a queue and a member of staff popped onto the tills to serve as soon as he saw me. Friendly, efficient and helpful. Quick pick up. Very happy with service.

My order number was FT062958 and code 3049. I share this to confirm my authenticity. I collected my order and was meet by a very rude lady. I had to collect my item from the fire exit door on the side of the building where there is four lanes of heavy traffic and the lady refused to accommodate my need to have her raise her voice slightly given the heavy traffic, face covering and over 5m distance. Very poor service she i now have a subscription for amazon prime as there is a locked at the end of my road.

Handy to have an Argos in the area, as the options of what you can purchase, are extensive and the added bonus of easily being able to return items brings extra confidence, should there be a problem. I have very rarely had to request a refund and have been generally happy with any purchases.
There is no parking at this store so would avoid buying bulky items. Waiting times can be a little long but in general are acceptable.

The staff at this store were friendly and incredibly helpful. I was struggling, with my son, to carry the item I’d purchased to my car. Two members of staff offered to assist me. In the end, a young man by the name of Joel took the item on a trolley and accompanied me all the way to my car. He was very friendly and had such a lovely manner! He even put the item in my boot. I was dreading having to pick up his item but it was the only store in London that had it. In the end it was a very smooth experience, thanks to the friendly staff at Holloway Road and, especially, to Joel. I never usually write reviews but felt I had to this time. This is retail customer service as it used to be - putting the customer first and five star service with a smile! Thank you!

Me and my mum have been going to this asda at Holloway numerous times and we are both very pleased with the customer service that we have received from Toni. She's always helpful, caring, kind and polite. She gets things done quickly and always has a smile on her face. Shes a real asset to Argos.

First time at argos Holloway and was very impressed. I was a bit worried about carrying my 2 heavy boxes to my car, but the friendly staff member explained exactly where I can park in the back and collect it from there. Not knowing exactly which back door to go to another very helpful staff member who was just coming out of his van guided me to the right door and even helped my out the heavy boxes in my car.

My daughter and I took a De'Longhi microwave back today today that we had bought 18 months ago, because it had started sparking out the back then just packed up. I didn't have a receipt and it was out of warranty so I was anticipating something of a struggle trying to get anything approaching 'satisfaction'. I couldn't have been more wrong! The female sales assistant that dealt with my problem was by far the best sales assistant that I have encountered for years! It was a delight to meet her, to chat with her and to have her resolve our problem. It turned out that she's a medical student working there part time but Argos - if you're reading this - you have no better brand ambassador than this particular sales assistant! She offered us a replacement and gave me confidence to continue shopping at this store for years to come! Well done, great after sales service!

I don't shop in Argos much I just buy the odd thing like a USB flash drive or SD card. Much better than what it used to be, not the most nice area but the Argos store isn't to bad. Waiting times could be reduced but otherwise ok.

Worst possible shop do to go. Any argos store always cause the same problems. No returns for unused item? You must be joking.. NEVER go there to buy Things. If you already did, don't even bother yourself to try to return it. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Short Caucasian lady with glasses has a rotten attitude. Someone clearly wakes up on the wrong side of bed. Extremely unhelpful & patronising. Maybe they should keep her in the deliveries area instead of the front store

Wide variety of staff knowledge. Varies from barely understanding that they work for Argos to thoroughly experienced and professional.
This branch "gave away" one of the items I ordered to another customer.
Sadly, that was the last one in stock so I had to receive a refund. "Gabby" took charge and was pleasant, polite, efficient and charming. If only Argos could staff their stores with people like her and not their usual teenage zombies.

Go at quiet times! Can get very busy. Do not like new layout of staff taking order and then also collecting while keeping other customers waiting. This only works well at quiet times!

Originally workers were terrible however because if ONE PERSON I've decided to 5 stars. Her name is Helen and she has helped me non stop every time u go in with my MY clients. Her manager has also been just amazing. Thank you Helen and the team. Helen should train the rest of the staff though I don't want to loose her at the till. I would recommend this branch more than any other I have been in. Thanks

Just want to say a massive thankyou to YASMIN LINDA & SARAH for all there help today when I had a panic attack! dispite being mega buzy they helped me so much when my app went down on my phone , and ide been queuing, they helped me with my order, kept talking to me and stayed with me till I collected my items , at the same time as answering hundreds of questions from other customers ! So kind friendly and professional absolutely love this store always a happy experience, cannot fault it , best Argos staff in London thankyou Bless : )
