I bought a laptop but the specifications were not what I ordered so I wanted to return it. The attendant, very rudely said that it was only the sticker on the package and that they would not take it back (They didn't care whether it is against the return policy of the company or the customer rights) They complained that they box had been opened but she didn't mind taking her sisors and cutting the tape all the way through, then left it there saying: we are not taking it and left me talking by myself. Don't ever buy in this store, the customer service is pathetic, I even filmed a video while I was there as I couldn't believe how unprofessional they were. You are forewarned....

I received the most atrocious level of customer service by the lady who served me at the collections desk.... she was really rude, biased and aggressive (she kicked the till to shut it after giving me change for a bag). to add to "Treating Customers Fairly". She charged me for a bag, whereas the customer who jumped the queue in front of me for a bag, was given one for free...and she sarcastically said to me"Hope you have a nice day. See you later". I

The staff here are super friendly and I never have to wait too long to collect a fast track order. If I have to add something to that order, the staff are always happy to accommodate. Always a pain free experience.

I travelled to Argos to collect my fast track order. The person at the counter was super helpful. He brought me my order straight away and helped me store it safely in my bag.

Staff doesn’t deserve even a single star. Rude, lazy service when came to return a Bluetooth speaker bought 24 hours ago with its original packaging and I unused item. She opened the pack herself and put her dirty fingerprints on it and made an excuse it has fingerprint on it. Unethical stupid lady who looked drunk on her face

Not as busy as some Argos I know. Be careful though, I ordered a product online and was informed at 8.30am that it was ready for collection "now" Got to the branch and discovered they don't open until 9am which was pretty annoying because I could have gotten it elsewhere but I was stuck waiting for nearly half an hour waiting for them to open up.

Manager beckie was extremely rude and i think she does not like brown or black people. She ripped the package of the item i wanted to return and did not packed it back. Then walk away and did not help and was pretending she very busy. One of the worst experience i had with argos. She was arguing and asked me to leave the store.

I have been looking for popular toasters tested by which? Magazine at Argos but could not find any despite several visits over several months. The brand names can be found but not the specific successful numbers/makes. Isn't Argos monitoring successful makes?

Not very helpful, tried to return an item that I had been told "could be returned" but I had failed to note the small print saying that if the item was not re-sealable they would not refund it. As it had plastic wrap I voided the return policy of said item. Rather then just refund my money, having admitted that they did in fact say "It can be returned" they just did the classic "policy says no" and did not try to help me. It became pure semantics. "I didn't say you could return it if it was opened". Well you didn't say I could return it if it wasn't opened either. They hid behind the meaning of their small print and failed in any capacity to help me as a customer.

This is the best looking Argos I have been to. It's nice and clean and quiet also. Argos, over the years it has become less popular due to internet shopping. But you can still get an Argos catalogue from here and shop like usual.

I have been here several times and find customer service to be very poor. For example if you are waiting for your number to the Call and someone come and give them receipt they go straight and grab the goods for the person regardless of how many people are waiting. On this occasion the call My number and I waited about 3 minutes because the product wasn't taken to the collection area until when one of the customer service adviser run to the back and brought my item and he apologise. This argos is in a prime area of London and they should be do better than that

Ordered a Tablet online for pick-up at this store the next day, as stock was listed as available at the time of ordering, only for it to be 'out-of-stock' or 'unavailable' when I visited on the scheduled date (a date which was evident from the email receipt). Had to create an Argos card on the spot in order to cancel the existing order and place a new order for the item, this time for home delivery the coming weekend. What followed was a shambolic delivery service that delivered to an entirely different residence, nowhere near our building complex. (despite them having our number) In addition to this, Argos's solution was for us to speak to our 'neighbors' that it was handed over to. I might as well have asked strangers on the street if they received our Argos order. I was assured by Argos staff that they would retrieve the item with the help of the courier they use and that my order would be cancelled and refunded. That was in August 2018. October 2018 I am still credited for that order on my account, which amounts to £350, despite several confirmations from staff that the 'finance team' had dealt with it. In the meantime, I had placed a 3rd order of that same item to pick up from a branch in central London that actually had it in stock. Argos confirmed, via phone and two separate members of staff, that I could collect it from the Tottenham Court Rd branch - one day before a 2-week holiday, the last chance to collect the Tablet we needed for our trip. Arriving at the store, I was met with cold apologies, for the item was not available and I was clearly misinformed about picking it up that day. Asking them to call customer service, who I had spoken to just 15mins previously, to explain why they had sent me there in the first place, was met with a negative response, because the item was not there so there was no point in speaking to anyone about it. A member of staff on the phone later could only apologise and confirm it would be there the next day. We were flying out of the country the next day. The Tablet would be useless to us thereafter. A simple apology in no form of compensation for all the trouble I was put in, such as placing 3 orders for the same item and wasting valuable time in two separate branches, the stress we suffered at Argos couriers losing it during the delivery process and us having to chase it, several phone calls to customer service staff throughout the week during my work hours, in addition to chatting to customer service on the Facebook page to resolve the still pending balance on our account, still ongoing 2 months later. Terrible experience. What's more, they do not have an online section on the website to make a formal complaint to management regarding situations such as these, only a written letter method that will cost me to send, if I request a tracking and signed service.

The staff here are polite, friendly but most importantly knowledgable about their products. Also on the one occasion I had a faulty product they took the time to help and even made the necessary phone calls on my behalf.

Accidently hurt my foot while visiting London, had to buy crutches... ordered them online on Argos website, went to collect them 1 hour later, ordered 2 types of crurches just to try which ones were better. Staff let me try first, then decide. Btw super friendly staff. Hassle free, quick, saved my week in London.

Use it as my local last minute gift saviour! Rarely wait at the til. What else to say....it's Argos so it's not fun nor cosy nor astounding... But straight to the point!

The refurbishment of this branch is top notch. HOWEVER... Unbelievably, the payment kiosks are being decommissioned, meaning one must queue to pay. This is complicated by the fact that there's no proper queue - just a crowd of baffled customers standing awaiting service. They've also gotten rid of the collection point, which means one must stand by a till until your item arrives (no screens telling you how long this will take). Finally, they are phasing out the reservation system, presumably for business, rather than customer, purposes. To sum up: a real design success, but a massive customer service failure.

Good spot to buy stuff, you can order on the iPad's instore and pickup instore in about 5-10 minutes. I must admit their process of picking a secret word to advise the cashier is painful as some of their staff can't spell so it takes 5-10 attempts for them to find your order each time. Also they never have decent sized bags for the items you buy and the bags they offer always break after 5-10 minutes.

Checked stock online (in stock), walk nearly a mile to get there, check again in store & pay, queue up for a while, number gets called to go & collect - it's not there. Watch everyone else go through the collection point over a 15 minute period, finally someone comes over - they can't find it - REALLY?! Opt for a refund over waiting an indefinite amount of time for them to find it - 3-5 days until the refund will get back to me. Why thank you - just what I need over christmas. You get more than one star because the checkout person was at least apologetic about it.
