Great experience when entering the chance. Was there to trade-in some of my camera gears. The inspection took up to 35 mins and the processing cash was very quick. Just make to bring a piece of ID when you want to trade-in your photo and video gears.

I recently purchased an Epson scanner and was very pleased with the level of customer service as well as the quality of the product. Shortly after ordering online, I was contacted directly by a member of staff when a slight delay in delivery was expected. They took care to keep me informed, managed to reduce the delay and delivered barely a day later than originally expected. Outstanding customer service from CameraWorld.

Hands up I am a pure amateur photographer with a basic D3300 I came in last weekend for the first time after going to a handful of other camera shops....and I was really impressed with the staff and range of gear + second hand equipment! While I was there I watched staff check and reject lenses people were trying to trade in for cash, because they did not meet the high standard of the store. Which gave me confidence that the second hand stuff I might by would be top quality.....which it was! The member of staff I spoke with took his time and offered lots of advice on what I could get for my money and shared his own experience, which really helped. He also ensured I was aware that online sales prices applied in the store (which I didn't know). Long story short, I came in looking for (but not planning on buying) a travel lens and left with A Rodes microphone and a great second hand 28-200mm zoom lens ( including a quality guaranty). Totally not planned but so happy with the gear and the service that I will be coming back to by in store when ever I need more kit! Highly recommended!!!

Really helpful and could not do enough to answer any and all queries. Did not catch the name of the guy I was working with but know he was studying politics. Had a great experience, didn't feel pressured into buying but am really happy with my new canon. The shop was out to help make the best purchase and not sell the most expensive item. Would definitely recommend.

Took over ten minutes to try and get through, when I finally did the employee on the other side of the phone was so rude, with absolute no customer service. He kept repeating hello, on the phone and I asked if he couldn’t hear me, he says “no I can hear you” Instead of apologising for the difficulty getting through he made me realise, we aren’t going to be able to purchase anything with his Attitude. We want someone genuinely friendly, not moody or rude... makes us as customers feel so awkward, asking questions or purchasing goods. - addition I did not call at 8pm, but thanks for making me further realise how unprofessional your services are. I called at 5pm during business hours as it said open on the google home page of your business. Thanks for your reply, whether you were confused or not. Should fact check before replying back to customers who were dissatisfied with your services.

They tried to rip me off. They offered me £285 then only offered £50 in shop. The offer was online with a two week deadline which had just passed. The item was absolutely mint, only mounted twice, still under warranty, and they gave no reason for the meagre offer. Absolute thieves. Stick to buying and selling your stuff online and we should all celebrate when they go out of business.

I saw a Nikon 70-210 mm 4-5.6 afD lens on your website but the accompanying photograph showed the non-D lens - a very different proposition. I decided to phone you to ask for clarification and I'm so glad I did. The staff member located the lens in question and confirmed it was in fact the D version. It was listed as Excellent ++ but he said it looked near mint. It arrived next day as promised, securely packaged and I can confirm it is as described - near mint. I've taken a couple of dozen test shots and couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. Quality, value and great customer service! Highly recommended - buy with confidence.

The website should make it clear what the new store stocks. Visited shop in London in search of a flashgun. Told that they don't stock them anymore. Assistant could not help. I felt a bit foolish that I had not looked at your website more thoroughly and that it was my fault. Not sure whether I feel like going back to the new shop.

This is a review of their online part of the business. Ordered a tripod which I needed in couple of days for a trip. My delivery address is for a concierge we have for several flats in the area, but specified my home address as you need to do anyway so that the concierge can assign the package to you. Next morning I get a call from one of their operators, to explain the address situation. Did that twice, still was not clear to him, saying he has to talk to his manager (another very great client service employee, as he didn't talk directly to me, maybe he would have understood better), and he decided that somehow the address is not matching the card address (wasn't aware that the delivery address was used for the card address) and decided it was "risky" and he cannot deliver. I have to mention it was a 100pounds transaction...so what was it that risky as long as the transaction was approved by the bank? Was I buying a 2000pounds camera? No, it was a bloody tripod which I really needed and I should have order it from London Camera Exchange where I never had an issue, but they had a better price at that moment. Funny thing is that before I bought from their store a Sony 70-300 G lens and other stuff and even sent the receipt to them by email so see that I am a "usual" client. After two emails not even a sorry for the inconvenience, explanation why they did that, nothing, ignored totally. I had tens of orders from Amazon, never had an issue. Recently bought from Amazon Fujifilm 56mm 1.2 R and Samyang 12mm 2.0 and other items, totalling £1,058. In two days was delivered at my concierge. But CameraWorld cannot deliver a £100 tripod. Very shameful, as I said in my email, for sure you lost a client. I am sure you don't care, as you proved when you didn't even replied to my emails (even if the emails were sent when I was very unhappy, angry I would say, this review was posted more than two weeks from that moment, maybe, maybe you would have replied in the meantime. But you didn't). Good luck in treating your online customers like this. Fortunately in the store you had nice people (last year at least when I visited)

I was very pleasantly surprised stumbling on this new and used camera shop in the middle of London. Staff were really friendly, there is a surprisingly large range given the size of the shop and I stoa load of Fuji instant film for quite a bit less than I'm used to paying on Amazon. They have bags, lenses, cameras, tripods, accessories and lots of film for traditionalists.

I was given great advice. One employee took the time out to help me choose a good lens for wedding photography. Then another Member of staff assisted me with the electronic gadgets of CF card readers. A small shop with a lot of variety. Price variety also inside. The choice to buy used/like new lenses is also in this shop too!

I had a camera where there had come some sand inside the lens. I called these guys up and they were very helpful on the phone. I later arrived in their store where they started looking and blowing the sand out of the lens. Then they made sure the camera was all in order. After the check up they didn’t want any money! Thanks for the best service and your friendly staff who helped me :)

Letting me wondering if my account was going to be debited or not... This is unbelievable. They did not dare answering my email either. Cannot be trusted!!!

Went in to store with the intention of placing pre order for Sony A7r iv and asked if could leave deposit and pay balance when I picked the order. The staff just looked at each other for a full two minutes and would not answer me. When I pressed for an answer they just laughed and full payment now else no deal. Was willing to leave £1,000.00 as a deposit and when they laughed I just walked out. Went into jessops and you can pre-order and we will charge your cc when we despatch. Clifton cameras just wanted £5.00 deposit. Never going to deal with them again. Totally unprofessional I can spend my hard earned money elsewhere.

Generally though these guys know their stuff and are very helpful although I've had a mixed experience. One person I dealt with was excellent! He was very down to earth and I received a very personal and thorough service. (5 star) The other was very impersonal saying "sir" every other word like an 80's sales person. (2 star). So it depends who you get and what kind of service you like. Good equipment though and like I said, generally very good

I appreciate that they're trying to run a business. But as a customer who has made a 30 min travel in pouring rain to purchase an item, who also has seen the product online as a fraction of the price and better condition, I don't appreciate being told, not much can be done about the price. Really not that keen on the "not my problem" either. Thankfully I've made the purchase elsewhere and I know where I'll be spending my money next time. My advice with the store, double check prices only before you purchase, unless you want to pay the mark-up premiums they offer.
