I have always wanted to visit here, it was smaller than I visualised although the three staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the products they were selling. I would not hesitate to come back here again and would most definitely recommend it to anyone interested in photography. A very pleasant experience.

The staff here are fantastic. I hate shopping especially for camera gear but over the years never had a problem here. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and don't get frustrated by my odd requests. Came close to being offered a job once. Don't remember if it was my wit or if it was my knowledge of how to sync a bowens trigger. Might have been both.
You guys are amazing and the new Z6 I brought the weekend ????

A few months back I walked in to Wex, not knowing anything about cameras or not knowing which camera to get. I was approached by a young gentleman called Brian. Now considering the shop was quite busy Brian took the time to explain to me which cameras are best for my future projects. He was so insightful so experienced and definitely sounded like he knew the game. His approach was caring and delicate. I did not feel that he was talking at me but I felt that he was talking to me. He wasn’t just selling me the product but he was taking me through the experience. On that day I didn’t purchase a camera because I didn’t have enough funds but I promised myself that I would come back and definitely buy the camera which was sold to me. Forward to Christmas Eve I came back unfortunately Brian wasn’t there but I was served by a gentleman called Jake and a lady called Adele. Honestly I truly believe they were both my friends, again I didn’t feel that they were just selling me the camera but they were inspiring me and feeding me so much information and showing the possibilities of what my new camera can do. Jake again was very helpful towards what I can get with the camera and I didn’t feel that he was pushing me to purchase anything but instead he was flexible to give me the ideas and allow me to make a decision on what to buy. Adele broke down every piece of information so that she was sure I was able to understand what I could do with this new tool. honestly amazing customer service I feel that I can walk back into Wex and receive amazing service for my Future equipmen. Thank you guys for taking the time, and thank you for your Exceptionally service.

Visited store to purchase strap for camera, store well set out, bright, staff very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful which to someone like myself who is just starting to get into photography is paramount.
Easy to find.
Also has limited car parking.
Ended up purchasing used Canon 7d mkii, Jake staff member took me through the mechanics of camera in a manner which i understood, didnt just whizz through because he knows how to use and expected me to????
When i got home the usb cable was missing so went back shop next morning the staff went out of the way to find me 1, manager Adele, chatting to me whilst staff searched for the cable, she even knew my name which showed real attention to detail???? the cable could not be found so Adele found a card reader which will suit me better, so helpful.
Cannot fault store, staff, and will definetly be making store my "go to" store for future purchases, advice.

I have attended Wex Birmingham in two occasions since they opened and in both cases I was helped by Marcin...informative, professional and very pleasant. The first occasion I purchased a second hand Canon D6 in its box ( I also purchased a telephoto lens that I had to return as it was too heavy for me) the second time was after my 75th birthday where my wife bought me a Billingham bag.....both occasions Marvin went out of his way to ensure I knew what I was buying.
Great store I will be going back.......I do have to say that all the staff in there are very friendly and helpful.

I would like to thank Adele and the Wex team for an unexpectedly fantastic experience! I wanted to preorder the Canon R6 and I new that this camera is out of stock everywhere (including online retailers) and that I would have to wait at least a month to get it. To my surprise Adele was so accommodating, that she went out of her way to try to find an order that has been pre-ordered, but not collected on time, so I got my R6 in three days! Additionally I got discounts on memory cards , batteries and other accessories that matched online prices, so I will be shopping at Wex from now on. Thanks!

Owen was patience personified as I went through various issues (of my own making not Wex), and he resolved them all in a quietly efficient manner. I've used Wex on several occasions and always found their customer service to be excellent.

I came into store looking for a new zoom lens for me camera. I wasn't sure what I was after. however soon after I came into the store was quickly and expertly helped by Brian, who clearly knew his stuff. he was super friendly and really helped me get the lens I was after.

I'm not one to spend time shopping outside in the real world but the staff here actually make me excited to visit the store. Matthew is always super helpful and happy, nothing is too much and every time I leave the store I feel happy I've visited. Adele is also very knowledgeable and warm, excellent customer service, so is the rest of the team! Always greeted with a smile, highly recommend the trip and a conversation rather than a pondering whether you wanna purchase something online.

Crazily great support that was informative and friendly. Both Adele and Luke were completely engaging, knowing when to show support and, critically, when to give us space. Also very, very tolerant of us pulling different camera bags to pieces until I found what I wanted. Local shop mentality in a large retail setting, and I got a great deal too.

I reserved a telescope but was able to pick it on the arranged date they were happy to keep it for me . On arrival not only was the whole process was very easy the telescope was also helped to my car and I received loads of advice on how to get the best out of my purchase and ideas of what products I needed to get into astrophotography. So far I've visited Wex's Birmingham store twice. It's a nicely laid out store with new equipment and it also sells used cameras and lenses. I traded in a few lenses, and I had an online valuation and then took the option to have them inspected at the store. I was served by Scott, and while he checked my lenses I passed the time looking at the vast array of all types of photographic equipment on display. I was pleased with the valuation and put their value against the purchase of another lens. Scott is friendly and professional and very knowledgeable. All the staff and the store manager make you feel very relaxed and welcome.

Visited today with the intention to purchase either a telescope or a spotting scope for my Mother’s birthday. Upon arrival the two gents serving were both quick to offer assistance and help out with our enquiries. I must mention Brian, who I must say went above and beyond to show us what the most appropriate piece of equipment would be. Brian has a fantastic amount of knowledge regarding the equipment on offer and answered all of the many questions we had. Overall, very happy customers with a much improved knowledge thanks to Brian. A real credit to the company!

Today I visited the store for the first time. I had a complex trade-in to transact and also wanted to purchase a number of new lenses. Before I even got into the store, one of the staff came out to help me carry in the large amount of equipment I had brought. I was impressed. The store itself was also impressive, light and spacious with a vast range of equipment. The staff were all very knowledgeable and very good on customer service. In particular I would like to personally thank both Marcin and Adele who managed to get all my complicated business sorted in very short time, despite all the staff being very busy.

He helped me find what I needed, had a look at an old lens I had and him and his colleagues answered loads of silly small questions I had very patiently and kindly. The staff are so knowledgeable and as more of an amateur, I felt very reassured about my purchase rather than taking a punt online. Definitely recommend!

A small mistake of my own making was very quickly sorted out by staff at the Birmingham store today, and I'm very grateful for their help in completely resolving it! Specifically Luke went above and beyond! I've used the store a handful of times over the years and have always been very happy with my experiences. I highly recommend popping in, though if you are a guitarist be aware that it's right next door to an excellent guitar shop... so either way you'll end up buying something :-)
