Terrible experience. I purchased an order online to go pick it up in store and when I arrived home one of the items was faulty. I went back to the store for an exchange an they said I have to go to a Sainsburys to do a refund and repurchase. That represents a major inconvenience due to the current situation. I contacted by chat and Ali offered no solutions at all either. If it is an online order why does the costumer need to be at risk going back to another store that is much further? Cant the costumer service offer another solution?!? Avoid at all costs to avoid disappointment

I must say I never had such bad service in Argos in this store. I had issue with my Samsung watch and I was away with this Covid that I have stay in quarantine it was difficult to come back to London. When I arrived I when in this store there was Male store manager didn't wanted to help me at all and he was very rude towards me. I have call three times customer service to sort out this issue. He didn't wanted to call customer service for me, he was pretending that he called them , I have to do his job witch one wasn't pleasant at all as a customer. There was no customer service at all and no understanding my situation and I must say i spend so much money in this store to order everything for my home. And will never go back there and spend my money. It all happened on 14 Oct 2020 afternoon With such bad service I felt not pleasant there at all.

They were the only store to have the 3 items in stock that I wanted. So I travelled all the way there (items were store collection only) only to be sent home empty handed because I needed ID to pick up a knife set. Gone back today...no one has asked for ID. As I suspected they were just being difficult yesterday, as I definitely do not look under 18. So thank you for wasting my time.

Been here for a number of times. Very convenient for both buying things and collecting eBay orders. Staff are efficient and professional. However it would be better if you can prepare things that can allow people to lift larger items such as nylon straps. I bought something in a large box that has nowhere to hold onto so I literally had to ‘roll’ it out of there.

Wow! What amazing service I received here. I was treated before I even reached automated machines and asked if I wanted any assistance. Although I have been to the store many times before over years I decided to take the assistant up on her offer and she helps me process my transaction. Another member of staff brought my item to me having asked me to take a seat in a very civilised environment. Easy peasy. Thanks Argos for making my shopping experience a good experience. Online is so sterile and impersonal in comparison.

This is not the first time I visit this branch. I would say this is one of Argos's best branch, regarding the customer service and employees.  They are so caring and helpful, great job even if it's busy and pressured.  They are great. Every one of them.

Had a lovely experience from start to finish with the manager called Jubed. When I first walked in he opened the door for me and was very polite. Got me the item I'd brought online straight away and was just genuinely a lovely person. Lovely atmosphere in this argos as well! Will definitely be back!

I really can't remember slower service anywhere, ever. Ordered a rotary line cover online and popped in at 11.30am on a Monday to collect it. Despite being only 3rd in the queue, it took 15 minutes to get to the counter. Nice chap served me. But I then had to wait 15 minutes for my very simple order to be handed to me. I'm quite sure the item was ready and sitting on the side at least 10 minutes earlier than it was handed to me, though! Absolutely no sense of urgency by staff. As others have stated, the layout does not work. Argos is usually a good customer experience when you use pre-pay kiosks and a team are handing out orders at the collection point. In this branch, everyone gets in the same queue, where you are processed excessively slowly. The obvious solution is for warehouse staff to hand orders to customers directly rather than leaving them on a table for busy cashiers to handle. Argos presumably don't care because everyone is giving this branch terrible reviews for the same reasons over a lengthy period of time. FIX IT!

Not many experiences with Argos but happy enough. I’d already seen what I wanted online but thought I’d actually purchase in store. I went over and within a few minutes had located the code and checked out on the self service machine. Less than 5 minutes later and I’m walking out with a short stepladder. Quick, easy and no complications. I might do it more often if I need something same day.

Been here twice and will never go again bought a watch they told me the person who adjusts watches is busy come back tomorrow I come back all the staff is different they lady said I will check if someone can do it we do have people then she came back and said no one can do it we are not specialists hold on you just said you have people to do it. Who ever is the manager or supervisor told her to say that. Utter waste of time going back they seem like there just there counting minuets to leave monkeys can do the job better for the same peanuts

A digital-only store, so no chunky catalogues to flick through as item checking is done via an iPad. Does this make the process any quicker? No, not really as you still need to queue, pay and then queue once again while someone collects your order from the warehouse. Still, I suppose it looks modern inside...

I bought two 2G switch 2 and 3G switch 1 from the seller and he delivered the 2G on time and as described. The 3G switch never came to me. On sending the feedback to the seller I made a mistake and sent it for both items . A message was sent to him and uptill now no reply has been received and also the item has not been received.

I like the concept of Argos and everything went well with my purchase. The only comments I have are that I didn't think it was intuitive that you had to line up to collect your items. I thought that you would get a number and someone would call for you when they'd prepared your package. Also a lot of the iPads in the store weren't working. Be prepared for stock not to be available (you may need to go to a different location).

Excellent staff and excellent service! This was my go-to Argos when I lived in that area for nearly 5 years. Shame I have moved to the City now and have to bear with the Argos (Cheapside) branch, who have an awful service and a manager with a dreadful attitude.

It's an interesting concept where you order things off a tablet, go to the counter and they'll then go into the warehouse behind the scenes and pick up the item for you. Quality is so-so. You can also get eBay items sent here for pick up.

During the heat wave this week, I went to Argos to get a fan. I first went to the strand location to purchase a fan and was able to reserve the fan at the marble arch location. We bussed to the marble arch location and were told that they had an issue and reservations and stock weren't working correctly. At this location, a gentleman explained the stustion, apologized, and offered a 5 pound voucher.

Helpful staff at this branch. I'd go at off peak times to avoid usual Argos waits. It's a large store so doesn't feel as cramped as other branches.

What an awful store. Despite being quite quiet, a queue formed that moved slower than a snail on tranquillisers. In the end I walked out. Reading the reviews, this seems to be the norm for this branch. If this is the best Argos can offer, their days on the high street are numbered. Maybe they already know that and have just give up?

The worst customer service I ever had in my life and in any country. I bought a TV on last Saturday, was 1 hour before the store close then I carry the TV to my home (about 200m) from the store, and when I turned on the TV half of the screen was broken and all black. In the next day I went to the store to change the product, and to my surprise, they said that type of bad function of the product could be caused by me. And I should have open the product at the store and tested there before taking it to my home (who do that?) So I ended with a broken TV.

I love the things in the store but the only thing I have to say is that que is very long I thing there should be more counters in the store to stop distracting us from waiting. What if there was an emergency and you really needed to go home but you needed something from Argos! THAT'S A PROBLEM IS IT!!!

SOOO SLOOOW... Argos used to have self service machines, now you have to wait forever before you can even pay. You'd be better off buying things on your phone for collection here than using the actual shop.
