Really good service, friendly and easy to get in touch with. Let us look at as many houses we wanted, and patiently helped find the best house for us. When we did pick a house, Cintra called the landlord who kindly put the price down into our price range. So far they have made everything simple for us! I would definitely recommend.

University accommodation is limited, but it is good to know there is somewhere else one could run to. They advocate the company ‘Ridgemoor Properties’ which looks after the house on behalf of the landlord. This sister company is appalling with their service, and took 3 months for us to recieve our extortionate deposit back, after many ignored calls and emails. In the calls that were picked up we were told on various occasions that our deposit would be returned by a specific date, which obviously never occurred. Coincidentally our deposit was returned when we rang Cintra to complain about Ridgemoor Properties, stating that as an advocate of the corrupt company, we will also be taking them to court too. This company is full of sharks- do not use.

Went into the office at 1pm today for our scheduled appointment looking for some help to find a 4 bedroom house for next year. Balil was really helpful and took us to see some properties and the group decided there and then which one we liked the most. We went back into the office and the paperwork was all completed quickly but thoroughly. Thank you to the guys at Cintra Estates for helping us find a great house!!

All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly in taking us to house viewings and helping us to secure our house for next year. The staff at Cintra were very pleasant and we were overall very pleased with their customer service. As my friends and I wished to have a weekend viewing of the houses (As all our schedules clashes with the weekday viewing and we wanted all of us to be present when choosing a house), they had catered to our needs and had opened the office for us during the weekend and brought us around. Would definitely recommend, as it is also hassle-free and no fees charged to students! :)

oh me oh my! what can I say? I have to nice right?.. In all honesty we haven't had any issues with Cintra Estates at all, they have been very organised and very friendly to us girls, even though we came to them last minute. Our estate agent is lovely and he knows his stuff when it comes to squats.. Such a lovely bunch of people and have no regrets with anything :)

I am writing my review on Ridgmoor who i am under the impression are a sub group of Cintra. As I signed the contract and received my keys from Cintra, I assume that they are responsible for the conditions endured at least in part.
I entered into a contract with five other housemates at the beginning of July 2017. Cintra assured us that the house we agreed to rent would be totally refurbished by the end of summer, in which time we would all be moving in. The house was not refurbished in its entirety, the kitchen being the only thing that was worked on, which was a complete health hazard when we viewed it.
Upon moving in we found that the showers weren't working as promised. We had to meet with a highly unskilled handyman sent by the estate agents. We would have random workmen appear at our door without being notified at all by the landlords. We had our doors removed and replaced without warning and had them thrown carelessly in our front and back garden, with an empty promise that they would be picked up and disposed of soon. It never happened.
We were hounding the landlords to fix any and all maintenance issues for the entirety of the contract by they never did anything solved the issue for little more than a day.
Our deposits were not given back to us for over two months. Our lead tenant had to email them and phone them during a holiday. When he got through to them they made the baseless claim that we hadn't paid them rent all year.
Because we were students, landlords like this take advantage of our lack of knowledge of property law, and lack of options, providing a sub par services because their attitude is; "Well? What are you gonna do about it?"
The most we can really do is leave an honest review about our terrible experiences, so they can either be better or be nothing.

Kind and helpful staff, have used them for our current house which is great. As a student who didn't know the process of going through the motions of renting a house, all the paperwork and steps were explained well. For next years house, they were able to knock the price down by £20 per month which makes a huge difference to our bill over the course of a year. Cheers Chaps!

Run Run Run far away and never look back! They lie by omission of facts. Pressure you to take the worst properties first by lying about availability. Each agent will have different information for you. Bait and switch tactics to try to get rid of the worst properties. Property they put you in is not well maintained or inspected. They also sneak all type of fees even though they advertise no fees for student. They sneak it into the rental price. Never again! If I could give negative reviews I would!

Cintra Estates is free for students which is a huge attraction. The staff are friendly and welcoming and, when showing you round a property, are truthful about it. They provide helpful information based on what you are looking for. Each of their properties are well furnished and close to the university campus.

Fantastic employer and a friendly atmosphere, can't go wrong with Cintra, especially if your searching for student accom... large portfolio of fantastic properties for all adults whether you're a working professional or student however you have to be fast to snap up the nicest ones as they go like hotcakes. Get in there and simply hand in your details to become a prospect, to this day I am still informed off available properties for rent/purchase so the services are consistent. You will not be let down.

I am about to move from one Cintra property to another with a day between contracts. I was assured by the manager when signing the paperwork that we'd be taken care of in between tenancies, provided with somewhere to stay in between. At this time I was asked to review Cintra on google. However, now that the time has come, that same manager jas told me they can't do this, and made no effort to help find a solution. They'll say anything to make you happy to make sale or get a review, but fail to deliver on their promises. I feel utterly betrayed.

I wouldn’t even give a one star but i am forced to in order to give this review. As a student tenant i wouldn’t recommend to use CINTRA. Our landlord has harassed us for an entire year, forcing us to make out of contract purchases for things that are out of our control and are actually in their care. If you want to save money and your sanity do not rent with Cintra.

They arranged for the former landlord to bring the contract and then they emailed me the scanned document. All this happened within a just few hours of me inquiring if they have it. Our landlord pulled out the day we were paying our first month's advance rent! The CEO of the company took us under his wing, dropped everything and made it his personal mission to find us a house that very day. He waved his magic wand and somehow managed to show us around a handful of houses within the hour, two hours later we now had a house in a better location and cheaper! He didnt have to bend over backwards to help us, they charge no fees for us student. I was honestly amazed by his outstanding service. Thank you so so much!

Rude, unprofessional “estate agent” with multiple legal cases against them and the sole intention of scamming students! Not heard one good thing about them. Stole £1000 in refundable deposits from my friend then called her mum a stupid b***** to her face! Took £300 from my group as a refundable deposit to have a meeting with the landlord, only to laugh at us and hang up when we asked for it back. Ask any Reading student about Cintra and they’ll have a similar story... AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
