I have known Mr Mason, on a buying and selling customer level, for a long time and , without hesitation, can highly recommend both his services and the services of his equally approachable and efficient team members. Mason's listen and understand exactly what you want and respect the budget that you set. Any questions that needs answers or anything that I thought might be a problem, was immediately explained and/or resolved so that my sale and purchase went through as intended.

Masons are absolutely the best local agents and if you're looking for one at the moment I would strongly recommend you meet them. I've lived in the area most of my life and met all the other local Estate Agents. Masons are absolutely the best. The thing that makes them different is that they're nice guys!! Normal honest people, who I wouldn't expect to be Estate Agents! On top of this they're really good at their jobs. They sold our house in less than a week for a great price, and then continued to work really hard until completion to keep us all happy.
I don't normally get around to writing reviews but Masons are worth it.

I sold my house through Masons in 2018. I was struck by how much of a difference it makes to have an agent who is friendly, communicative and on it! Jake made the sale pretty straight forward - handling all the viewings, keeping me informed of the feedback so that we could respond accordingly, and have a realistic view of where the market was, and what we should be looking to achieve, and ultimately a positive outcome and completed sale. From the initial discussion on marketing with Tim I realised that I was working with a truly professional agent. No "false promises" or "hype" , just a realistic assessment of how to market the property and the target customer. Tim and Jake then worked effectively to find buyers and what I had thought may be a difficult property to shift sold in just over 3 months!

We found a property Masons were selling and decided it was the move for us. Tim had our property on the market within 48 hours and had a buyer for us within a week or so. Any questions or queries we had were answered quickly as Tim was available to speak to all the way through the process. It was as hassle free an experience as it could be and that's down to Tim, Jake the rest of the excellent team.
We bought a new build and after completion and moving in, Tim has been on hand to help with any queries we've had and liaised with the developers for us.
I would highly recommend Masons and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

What you want is good customer service. Not too difficult you may say. You want people to respond to phone calls to be interested in your concerns. To carry out tasks that are required on your behalf.
We bought a house from another agent and sold through Masons. The difference was unbelievable! Masons who from the initial meeting to the completion of our property met every expectation. I would say we had a normal sale process. A few problems with our survey that both Jake and Tim helped us through professionally. Every time I called there was someone on the end of the line. If not available I was told by what time they would call back. And they did. I would highly recommend their service to anyone either buying or selling their home. They are very knowledgeable about the area, friendly, and not pushy. If I moved again I would definately go to Masons.

I bought a house in Caversham through Masons and the two people I talked to (Tim and Jake) were both brilliant and very helpful.
I had a very difficult buyer in my chain who caused a lot of delays and Jake took the initiative to help the process along by communicating with each of us (since the buyer’s solicitor refused to speak to me) and made a gruelling process much easier. They were always reachable and professional.
I hope I won’t be moving any time soon but if I do I’ll definitely use Masons! Thanks all! :)

Tim was acting for the people we purchased off and he was brilliant, always on my case i.e. when we would I be ready to complete, putting in the hard word with everyone in the chain and generally managing the whole proccess for everyone. We had a lot of issues with my buyer and my buyers buyer and then with me moving jobs and loosing my mortgage. Tim got to the bottom of the issues and held the chain together I realy wish we had engaged Masons from the start rather than using our agents. If we sell again (unlikely for the next couple of decades) I would definitly use Tim and Masons.

Tim knows how to sell houses and he succeeded in getting full value on our property. He had good contacts of what local people were looking for and was able to find a buyer almost within 24 hours. He found a family wanting our location and facilities to move in and then negotiated well until both families were satisfied. The family were in a good position to give us reasonable time to negotiate for our onwards move property and he assisted that through the agent selling (his old mentor) in getting things moving within a reasonable time. We were downsizing after being in the same house for more than 30 years and needed a tailor-made service. We got it from Masons Estate Agents in Caversham. They are calmly professional and If you want to minimise the stress associated with selling (and buying) a home Masons are the agents to use.
You will get a personal service from an agency who have a thorough knowledge of the business of buying and selling houses. An agency who will listen, and offer sensible and constructive advice doing all possible to make your sale happen.

Throughout every stage of the process, Tim was helpful, friendly, professional and ensured that the sale of the house happened very quickly - it took Tim only three days to put the house on the market and get viewings that led to an offer within a week. If i could give more than 5 stars I would. As a professional property investor I have sold many properties, Tim sold my property in 5 days and tied up 3 other sales to complete the chain by knowing his customers and their requirements. Selling houses is not easy today with Solicitors/lenders/valuers covering themselves - all issues were resolved quickly and I was kept informed at all times - The Agents experience and determination meant that the sale was completed on time which is what everyone in the chain wanted so everyone was happy.

We recently purchased our first home through Masons. During a week where it felt like every little thing was against us completing our purchase, Tim was there offering solutions and going out of his way to be helpful and assist us. With the somewhat unhelpfulness of our solicitors in the situation it was great to have somebody who was on our side and made time to help us out.
We were pushing for a quick turnaround between offer and completion - and if it weren't for Masons I do not think it would have gone through on time. We are incredibly grateful for the service that we received, as it saved us massive inconvenience and cost in finding somewhere else to stay.
If you are looking to purchase a home, then I absolutely recommend you do it through Masons. There is a level of customer service which we have never experienced with other estate agents.
