Went in to ask about an upgrade to a new handset. Asked the bearded member of staff a question and he completely lied to me about the price of a hand set and that the price was “the American price” , when I told him I actually knew he was lying and the price in on the apple website he became rude and didn’t offer me anything else as a customer, essentially telling me to go elsewhere.
I’ve been with EE for many years and this has completely prompted me to change networks. I can’t believe in 2019 phone shop workers are still allowed to use “tactics” to rip people off!

I came into the store and all the assistants were busy so I sat down. I waited 15 minutes and in this time, despite many of these assistants walking past me, I was not acknowledged. I also watched 5 different parties walk in, wait, and then leave. After 15 minutes, I suggested to my husband that he go to the 3 store around the corner. 5 minutes later he returned having been served and with what we needed. I asked to speak to the manager, Joe Watts, who I apologized to for interrupting him bring with a customer, and explained that he had not only lost my business, but that of the other 5 parties who had walked in. He said, putting his back to me and hand up, and I quote directly, "I don't care, you're constructive criticism is not taken, please go away". Wow.

I bought an emergency phone priced at £19, they then snidely removed the price and pretended this didn't happen and told me the new price only on scanning. I asked to speak to the manager who was actually on the desk behind and he went and his in the back and refused to come out. Before I even picked the handset up I asked if it would need replacing in a few months due to updates. They said no. By day two it had flashed up with warnings of being unable to update abs storage space running out. I have no extra apps and constantly delete messages and clear cache. What really annoyed me was the fact they lied to me, then accused me of lying and attempted to hide the pricing error. Utterly appalling performance.

Absolutely appalling place, I am (unfortunately) on contract with EE but my account has suddenly increased by £11.55 pm so I went in to the shop to ask why this had occurred and for what reason? There were about 5 or 6 assistant all sat in a corner near the back of the store giggling and totally ignoring myself and other customers. After waiting for 20 minutes I was about to give up when this cocky little runt of an assistant comes over and asks "What's up?"
What's up? Hardly correct customer service talk is it. So I began to explain and he was smirking the whole time, then another assistant came over and was just as lairy as the first guy, all this time I am patiently trying to explain about the increase on my account without anyone taking the mick but my explanation was completely disregarded by both assistant who simply shrugged their shoulders and said "Yeah and?" Where do they find these people is what I'd like to know. I asked the first guy if he was actually listening to me or not and the second fella goes "He's not with ya love, he's smacked off his head". Seriously this place needs shutting down if it is run by idiotic, smackheads.

Staff was very rude and clearly had no customer service skills. We just wanted to come in to look at the offers, we were not interested in upgrading, but the person we spoke to would not listen. He said, and I quote, 'it's no water off my back' if we didn't buy anything. So we didn't.
Congratulations, your sales rep just lost you a long-time customer.

12 month contract isn't really a 12 month contract. EE were going to charge a cancellation fee to cancel early, then charge you for a 30 days notice period when you cancel. Quite a scam for a large company.
