Unfortunately inexperienced staff. Young man behind the counter informed me my phone would need to be sent off for repair. I'd figured it just needed restarting (un-responsive screen). "No facility" to connect it to a computer for any diagnostic. Bye. Took it to a phone repair shop 100m away. The guy showed me how to force re-start. Done. No charge. Dropped a ball there Vodafone. I've been a good customer for a while so I'd hoped for a better customer service than that.

Rude staff. Tried to ask proof of I.D via a driving licence to a man registered blind. Staff highly require disability awareness training. Had to wait an additional week for a nano sim for phone to work. due to I.D issues. Could have been resolved easily without the sales speech upon initial sale.

Really great customer service from Nina. She helped me get a new SIM that I did not know about earlier, and I really appreciated her support. She is a real professional and very friendly. Thank you Nina, I wish you all the best :)

Staff were really friendly and we were able to work out an amazing Broadband deal. We weren't waiting for very long either, despite going on a Saturday afternoon, which you'd expect to be a peak time. It does not deserve the low reviews it's gotten, I honestly can't fault the place.

Avoid to become a Vodafone customer. I accidentally used mobile network to call abroad, thought I using Internet call, as I usually do using Facetime, however for some reason Facetime were using mobile network instead. Vodafone won't listen you. They just charged me £206.00 Also, since November 2019 Vodafone promised to fix mobile coverage at Peckham Rye, London. Still not fixed.

The staff are friendly and considerate. We were treated with curtsy and respect. They have a wonderful system so that no one is missed. The certainly knew their products. I would recommend them to everyone.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced in the Brighton store. The staff do not know the products well and when they get it wrong are incapable of appologising or putting things right. They refuse to answer their phone, so you have no other option than to return to the store to resolve issues. They clearly do not care. Avoid this place and like the plague!!! EE in Churchill Square were more than helpful and offered the same deal. I will never use Vodafone again regardless of cost.

Churchill Square: BAD - - - Western Road: GOOD. Waiting times in Churchill Square frustrate me enough to write this review. I went in the store and there were quite a few people in front of me but the staff in the store had no consideration for waiting customers. For whoever is reading this review.........there is another Vodafone store about 200 metres away from the town centre on Western Road where I get served straight away every time. I visit Brighton a lot and have been into and passed by both stores several times. Every time I pass by the Churchill Square store I never go in because of the wait. I always end up going into Western Road and being served straight away.

The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful. They take every one in rotation My problem was with my Wi-Fi communication which was sorted out in just a few strokes. I was able to follow all the assistant did and I was very satisfied with the results. I would recommend them to all with an IT problem.

Don't bother going in here folks. A bigger bunch of liars you will never have the displeasure of encountering in your life. I've been with Vodafone since they started and will be moving networks as soon as my contract is up all thanks to the idiots who work in this store. Only wish I could have awarded them no stars which then again would still be too many

Went to the Churchill Square store around 5 pm yesterday as I wanted to review my tariff after four years on the same one, and to find out about roaming use in a particular country. The young woman I saw could not have acted more uninterested, bored and unhelpful if she had tried. She made no attempt to engage with the questions or go through the tariffs. Clearly she must have slept through any customer service training she might have been given.

I bought an emergency phone priced at £19, they then snidely removed the price and pretended this didn't happen and told me the new price only on scanning. I asked to speak to the manager who was actually on the desk behind and he went and his in the back and refused to come out. Before I even picked the handset up I asked if it would need replacing in a few months due to updates. They said no. By day two it had flashed up with warnings of being unable to update abs storage space running out. I have no extra apps and constantly delete messages and clear cache. What really annoyed me was the fact they lied to me, then accused me of lying and attempted to hide the pricing error. Utterly appalling performance.

I regret the day I ever got involved with Vodafone. They are completely and utterly useless in the highest form.. To try to communicate with these morons is impossible. We are advised to ring just one phone number. The recorded message female was absolutely no help whatsoever and there was no way a person to person call could be made. I would STRONGLY advise anyone who is thinking of giving Vodafone any business.. For your peace of mind DON'T .. they are total rubbish and NOT interested in the customers enquiries.. PS.. It is unfortunate I have to give them one star, They do not deserve any stars.

Dont go there. Bad customer service. The assistant manager is a brainless tweet who has no idea how to deal with customer's that don't submit or buy his ridiculous charm. After a long 37 minute wait. I finally got to see someone. I then bought the new IPhone with the assurances I had the best deal Vodafone had to offer (Which off course was not the case). I've actually changed to a better plane online. After going through the motions. I was then told my phone is not in the shop & I would have to wait a maximum 5 days for it to be delivered to the shop (Don't see why I could not have the option of the phone be delivered to my home). If I knew I'd have to wait 5 days, I would have gone elsewhere. But I guess 5 days is not to bad. 20 days later my phone was delivered to the shop. Spoke to complaints who informed me Apple was having problems & that they where awaiting conformation for delivery. The gentleman also said the the agent in the shop had miss informed me & should have never told me my phone would delivered in 5 days. When I arrived at the Vodafone shop 20 days later to pick up my phone. I waited 25 odd minutes to be seen (This a really long sorry cut short).I arrived at the shop at 5:30 p.m & left at 7:15 p.m. All because they refuse to compensate me. The brainless assistant manager told me they cannot compensate me & that they hold no responsibility or blame for my inconvenience. I could not accept that statement. I went all around the houses with the assistant manager, with no resolve. I was not leaving that shop without a result. A simple sorry couldn't resolve the unprofessional conduct I was receiving. I then instructed a member of staff to immediately phone customer service to compensate me. He was back in less than 5 minutes. Saying they was nothing they can do for me (Who ever gets through to customer service in less than 5 minutes?). So I phone complaints in front of them. They where playing hard ball too. But they compensated me adequately enough for me to finally leave Church hill Square Vodafone shop with my head up high. There is another Vodafone shop about 200 metre away, with a totally better service & no waiting time to get seen. Western Road Brighton. How crazy is that? Tbh. Churchill Square Vodafone shop should not even have 1 star. Unfortunately I could not score them zero stars.

Spoke to representatives online through one of the call centres, they were super helpful about an upgrade and told us to go in store to get them to help with the process. Once in store the assistant store manager was incredibly rude and dismissive, we then spoke to one of the sales reps who was incredibly unhelpful and implied to us the deal we were quoted over the phone was not within contract law. We were confused and asked them what they meant and they simply told us they couldn’t help without any attempt at customer service or encouraging us to ever want to return to the store. Will be moving over to ee. Deal lost. Really not impressed. Actually Came away insulted from the process. I can see from other reviews this is not the first time this had happened. Go online.

So.... I went into the Churchill square store in Brighton approx. 3 weeks ago. I was still in a contract with my previous provider, however my phone had become faulty and due to a small crack on the screen it was no longer in warranty. I spoke with an advisor in vodaphone , who agreed he would take £30 of my first bill to cover my cancellation fees with my previous provider. Whilst I was there he also suggested i join vodaphone for my internet. He promised to waver the first months charge. I accepted and we sat there for at least an hour applying for both the phone and wifi. I left the store happy. However, I then received a text from vodaphone telling me they would be taking the full charge of £46 out of my bank on the 27th of this month for my phone contract. I called and spoke to the guy in store who sold me the packages and he assured me he had inputted all the information onto the system correctly and that I would only be charged £23 for Dec and not £46 as the text had stated. I took his word for it and went away happy that he had done his job properly. However days past and I had heard nothing with regards to my wifi, so I called vodaphone. Only to be told that the guy in the store had not processed me an account for my wifi. I tried to call the store several times since, leaving messages for them to call me back, but have still not heard back from them. The service is shoddy to say the least and I would not recommend vodaphone to anybody. I will also be looking into returning the phone and leaving the contract. I do believe I had 3 weeks to do so, but as they have not called me back, I have been unable to do so. I assume, I would still be in my rights to return the phone.

Terrible customer service, now down over £120 because i was told by an employee that my contract was finshed and no more payments would come out. She couldnt have been less interested, and forgetting to mention that id have to ring vodafone and give 30 days notice after my due date to cancel or they would continue to take payments. Prehaps some decent training wouldnt go a miss so you dont leave customers out of pocket.

I wanted to change my mobile from pay as you go to a contract so the employee in Churchill square branch got me another number (07****47078) and I signed for a contract 12 months with NHS 30% discount. The employee told me that the contract will be shifted to my old number next day. So I waited 2 days and nothing happened so I went again to the same branch and another employee told me that he did the job and that I need to call 191, which I did and they told me to do it online and I did. Now I am having two numbers one contract and one pay as you go. I need only my old number (07****71833) with an nhs discounted contract, very disappointed for the service and waste of my time

The service was so slow and uninformative and i still didn't get the phone or contract i required after !! After discussing for an hour I was told to return with my passport again to prove a reference. I did this and the reference was confirmed only to be to be told the phone i required was now out of stock (since 4 days ago). I was then tried to be sold up on a more expense contract. Terrible for service and i have also been a previous old customer for years!

There's one thing you should bare in mind if you considering switching to Vodafone: their shoddy, incompetent and dismissive customer service, both on the phone and in-store. Went to send off my phone today for repair and to get a replacement while I wait. However they were unable to set up the new sim as their "systems went down" (one advisor said it was a global problem, the other just a problem for this store) and then palmed me off to an in-store phone to call up their customer services, so they could set up the new sim instead. Got through to some foreign call-centre who said they could not help as I was not on their system, and put me on hold for an indefinite amount of time. Went back to ask another in-store advisor (Tia) what to do and she said "nothing", and then stared at me blankly for a few seconds until I responded, "so I'm just supposed to leave without a working phone?". She stared at me blankly a bit more - not a flicker of care on her face - and seemed to imply I should wait in-store for a few hours until they sorted their stuff out. Just ridiculous. She was so dismissive. Not even an apology. I appreciate it's not their fault the systems went down, but at least show some initiative and try and help the customer, or even apologise if you can't. So yeah, if you've got a choice between Vodafone and another provider, I would seriously take into account the competence of their customer service, because you will at some point, and unfortunately, have to deal with them.
