Fantastic interiors and atmosphere inside but absolutely low quality service. Highly disappointed!! Extremely slow service and untasty food. We ordered our food and after 30 min we got an answer that we cannot get what we want we changed our order and waited. Starter arrived after 30 min, main course after 1 hour. It took 3 hours to complete our food session. Really strange! And we paid £25 service charge after all. Didn’t want to argue, bcs everything thakes so long time to get it so, we just left as soon as we can. Didn’t find anything special on food and drinks. Doesn’t worth the money. There are much better places. If you wanna eat good food, I don’t recommend this place! Place is good for photo shooting.

Fantastic place !! We managed to get a table Friday for Saturday by chance. The decor of the place is lovely, full of plants and with vintage/chic furniture. I highly recommend the bottomless brunch, the drinks (amazing Bloody Marys !) kept coming, you don't even need to ask for them. Food was also awesome, 2 courses (big portions) that leave you completely full. A hot drink is included which is really nice to finish the brunch. I highly recommend this place !

Enjoyable 2 course brunch served with a hot drink and a cocktail. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Price was a little steep for what you got i.e. only one sausage in the full English so left feeling a little disappointed. Still a nice place to go for a special occasion!

Definitely the best place in town! The food is delicious, especially the pizza. I think its the best pizza I've had in a long time. Also, it has a high quality vine selection. I will come again soon, that's for sure. Keep up the good work guys.

Third and last visit for me. The staff and drinks were nice but the food was simply poor. It took over half an hour to arrive despite it being relatively empty when we ordered. And when it arrived it was cold. We were given a complimentary drink and our brunches were remade. The second lot were warm but definitely not hot - I suspect everything is precooked and then reheated and assembled to order. Brunch was nothing special and lacked flavour, a little seasoning goes a long way. The bread was hardly even toasted and the sausages and bacon were barely browned. Would not bother going back other than for a drink. Giving two stars to recognise that the staff at least tried to resolve the situation. UPDATE: they asked me to contact them as you can see below. I did. They never replied. Another example of terrible customer service.

We were in a group of 12 people and arrived around 5:30 pm. We came initially to only have drinks. Waiters were really friendly and quick. 2 hours later we asked if we could have dinner as well, they said a table would be prepared for us. The bar restaurant was not full but they came back to us 30min later saying our table was ready. We sat at the table and the waiter took 15 min to take our order. We were all hungry and asked mains only so it to Make it quicker but they said the kitchen was not ready so they would bring bread for us. Main plates took around 40 min to arrive. Food was really tasty and prices not cheap. Overall service from waiters and food were really good, buy kitchen service was extremely slow for a place their size and their location. As a drinks place would have given a 5 stars but as a dine place probably a 2 stars for its slowness. If you are going to eat maybe call the kitchen in advance.

I really loved the interior decor, very aesthetically pleasing. However, the brunch was subpar. I had the full English breakfast, it tasted okay and was nothing to write home about. I will say that the eggs were poached perfectly and I loved the bread. The beetroot juice was not the best either. All in all, I’d come back for the photo opportunity but not the food.

A friend booked a private room for a birthday brunchm, around 16 people, had a good couple of vegan options. The deal included bottomless coffee and avocado and toast (fancier names of course!) for the table. The room was excellent and uniquely decorated with warm/natural materials. Timber trussed exposed roof volume with low hanging plants. There was also a nice autumnal display in the centre of the table. I believe they hold cooking classes there; a number of ovens/ induction hobs dotted around.

We had a good time here. We had booked in for 2.15 however were left waiting til 2.30 til we were seated. We had also ordered the bottomless brunch but didn’t get any drinks til 3pm which was disappointing! Service was slow but our server was very friendly and kind. The atmosphere was nice.

I had a nice experience coming her during a Christmas time lunch. The staff were polite and attentive, the interior relaxed and spacious. There is a good range of drinks available specially cocktails. A good variety of mains as well and the ones we ordered were really nice, however the sides recommended with the mains were unnecessary. Classic british pudding were quite filling. Overall a brilliant experience especially to relax and talk as it’s quite and comfy inside.

I wouldn’t recommend the bottomless brunch. I visited for my 23rd birthday and we found the drinks weren’t very alcoholic so it’s not great value for money. Also not the fastest top ups if you want to make your 90 minutes worthwhile. Honestly it felt like a bit of a scam. The english breakfast was fine but small and nothing to write home about. The pancakes were more like a very dry sponge cake and nothing like the photos online. Such a shame because the venue is beautiful and I had high hopes!

Good clean and happy meeting place. Staff were friendly and helpful, not a usual pub and orientated to food. However, a pleasant beer was enjoyed on a Sunday afternoon. A fun place to visit.

Although the food was AMAZING, the service was..hideous! The server who gave us the menus first asked us if we've ever been to Bourne & Hollingsworth before - we said no, and then he ironically asked us if we UNDERSTAND and SPEAK English - we were a company of 6, 1 American and the rest of us have been living in the UK for at least 7 years. I also happen to be working in the hospitality industry and specifically in the luxury sector - and it is common knowledge not to offend our “guests” by asking whether they understand a language unless they mention they do not. He was doing it with the intention to OFFEND. He later on asked if we were "South Americans" or Greeks (completely irrelevant to us ordering food.), and he kept on throwing Spanish words throughout serving us even though we explained to him our background. RACIST AND OFFENSIVE - and just to be clear it wasn't just the fact that he asked from where we were coming from or if we UNDERSTOOD English, it was also the WAY he asked.

Blown away by the top quality service we received at B&H buildings. Warm, friendly staff made our experience so fantastic. Our servers were incredibly attentive, put us at ease and always served us with a smile. We went for the brunch option and I chose bottomless (obvs). I almost always had another glass of fizz ready to go before I’d finished the last! The food was good - hearty portion sizes and well seasoned. Not the best brunch food I’ve ever had but certainly not the worst (very far from it). But I have to say I’d go back time and time again simply for the staff: this how service should be done. Take note, brunch-serving restaurants in London!!

I ‘ ve visited B&H a couple of times for drinks and wanted to try their brunch for once as they have a nice setting for tables. We booked at least 7 days in advance and was disappointed that they gave us seats at the bar instead of a table. Prices were very reasonable but the food was average. Overall not impressed with the brunch and very disappointed for the seats at the bar. The staff are polite and I would stick to only drinks.

Very tasty food but in my opinion the portions should be just a bit larger. The service was polite and helpful. We arrived 5 minutes earlier than our booking and our table was already ready. The place is really well decorated and the garden on the side makes the atmosphere a bit tropical.

A bit expensive for the food which was average quality. We went when it was busy so it may have suffered due to this. Good cocktails however and a nice environment.

Highly disappointed - I rarely leave reviews, but this was so appalling that I felt motivated to leave a message. Having booked here for a one year anniversary for my girlfriend we found that:. The food was overpriced, cold and slow. The staff member serving us was even complaining about lack of resources from B&H. Really disappointed in what could have been a good day. Very nice for Instagram, but would recommend you go elsewhere for actually good food.

My first visit today and you'll struggle to find a better bar or restaurant. You walk in to be greeted by a huge smile from the young lady sat behind a grand piano doubling as a welcome point. The decor is very cool without being pretentious. The menu is pretty much perfect and the food itself doesn't disappoint. Ours arrived just 20 mins after ordering (10 dishes all coming out together!). Great staff supervised by a very professional chap in a suit. Plates cleared away once we'd all finished without rushing us. The atmosphere is bang on, the toilets squeaky clean. They use an old metal bath for sinks... A nice idea but it just doesn't work as it's a bit grubby. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. When I visited street parking was plentiful albeit a bit pricey

It was lovely food, served in a relaxed and well maintained environment. The brunch menu is diverse; great selection of eggs, pancakes and full cooked. The bottomless cocktails are especially interesting ???? HOWEVER; service already added to the bill... Automatic 2* penalty in my book. We'd pay it anyway but want a clear choice as opposed to an expectation.

Had a fab bottomless brunch here (with lovely mimosas that reappeared by magic), loved the food and staff were great! Also visit the 'bath'room for a giggle.

Rude host made us feel very unwelcome. Told when we have to leave before we could even sit down and also said we will all have to pay the full brunch price even though one person only wanted a coffee. The host then tried to guilt trip us, saying they are struggling for business due to corona which I thought was insensitive considering I have been made redundant and so splurging on a £27 breakfast is punchy. The lovely waitress made up for the mans unpleasantness fortunately.

The interior design was pretty good, however, it’s just two specific areas that are designed with plants. The food was average to good and the personnel’s behaviour was slightly rude pushing us to order quickly so we can make it on time.

I discovered this place one day when I decided that I wanted an affordable, quality, and bellini specific bottomless brunch with friends. After thorough research I tried it out for the first time and just the first time experience has made Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings a top favourite in London. Upon entering, the feeling of calm, beauty, and elegance hits you...from the design of the grand bar, to the Instagram popular back "garden" seating, and even right down to the bathtub sinks in the toilets you know that you'll want to return for aesthetics alone. The food is also equally delicious and of excellent quality, quite a nice selection of menu as well as vegan options, but the reason I give this place the rating and review it deserves is for their impeccable service. Ordering the bottomless bellini option for a solid £18 (cheaper than the average London brunch spots which are twice or thrice the price), for 1.5 hours of reservation and drinking, the consistent and tasteful flow of bellini is worth every pence. They are promptly served just before your current one is to be finished that you don't even need to spend time asking, it's amazing! Staff is friendly, extremely accommodating, and there's many of them. Definitely be sure to make a booking at least a day or two ahead for brunch. I've been here numerous times now and every experience has been equal, if not better. One thing I'd change if possible would be the seating time to 2 hours max, but then again it might just be me wanting to enjoy more time being in the green filled spaces. Great place, a must try!

Very trendy place that doesn't feel pretentious. Beautifully designed venue - it's an airy and light space with lots of plants but still feels cosy by the open fire. Relaxed vibe - great food and cocktails. Incredible service from very friendly staff.

The food and drinks were good, and the service reasonably fast. However, it barely met our expectations. I made a request far in advance given the special occasion for which we were visiting, and the staff made no effort to accommodate it. There were loads of empty spaces that were much nicer. Also, do not be fooled, the Garden Room is not at this location.

A bit disappointed of this place. Been there many times in 2017 and loved it. Bartenders was amazing. All cocktails was good. Came back in 2019,they change menu. Bartender don’t know exactly what his doing, made mistakes with our order. Also forgot our food and after 30min waiting we asked about food and he was like yay it’s coming... we waited another 15 min and still no food. We have to leave.

Amazing brunch at this place, which we booked two weeks in advance. Cozy tables, traditional decoration, and delicious food. The service is in general good - would be better if they could speed up when changing bottomless drinks. Will visit again in January

Really great experience and beautiful for photos etc, but the food menu (for lunch) wasn’t actually that great. Our cheese fondue was tasty and it was cool to try something a bit different but our salads were really average. Staff were friendly and they had a good selection of wine but unfortunately the food does let it down.

Utterly disappointing. I walk past this restaurant every day and always peer in thinking how lovely it looks. Today I came in with some work colleagues and the attitude of our waiter was horrendous. I’ve never seen so many eye rolls from a waiter in my entire life. I was a waitress for many years and I get it, large tables of people can be annoying because not everyone is listening etc but none of us were rude and we didn’t ask for anything unreasonable. It genuinely made me feel so uncomfortable and generally for a tense atmosphere. The rest of the staff were really nice and friendly but it felt like this guy hated us from the moment we walked in the door. As such, he was slow taking orders, eye rolled at most things and at one point I thought he was going to have a strop. Very bizarre indeed. Not someone who should be working in the service industry in my opinion.

Style over substance - a great business model which results in end product being *just* good enough for diners. The look of the establishment is slick, but the product lags behind anywhere else I have previously gone. Don’t bother with the “bottomless” anything - cheap variants being served to MAXXXIMISE profit.

Lovely interior and buzzy atmosphere, but the food was nothing out of ordinary and the range of options was quite narrow, e.g the only vegan 'main' for breakfast was avocado on toast. Would consider going back for drinks perhaps, but not for a meal.

Absolutely awful...The interior design is nice .but nasty black something floating in my Earl Grey tea started the event (dirty tea pot ) Then.the most ridiculous ridiculous wait for food almost two hours before the main course finally arrived ..and it was the most hard grey burger( we had ordered medium rare) and dried up flavourless chips and over done steak we have every had .The starters had been fairly disappointing ,esspecially for the price and size . Admittedly when we complained they gave us a cocktail and took the cost of the food we hadn't eaten off the bill.BUT it was a family birthday celebration and apart from us trying to see the funny side of it the evening was ruined........
