Excellent!! We went without any kind of expectation, and I got very surprised. Food is very good, but the service is absolutely excellent. There is a waitress, a Spanish girl, who is very kind, even wearing a mask, because of the Covid, we found her very nice. I absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely amazing food, service and wine. Special shout out to George for being so welcoming, the rest of the staff were also exceptional- didn't even have to think about filling my glass up, it was always filled as and when I needed it. A seamless dining experience, in a very comfortable setting. I shall be returning!

Went with the set meal option for a table of 6. Very very good service, atmosphere, and food! Bank holiday special, so we each scored a free drink as a bonus. Would hv been a 5 star - The steak which is a £14 extra, I found it to be average however, it was in the thin side, and was just ok - not worth the 14£ extra imho. The beef carpaccio entree is a standout!! Highly highly recommend you order this dish Overall the set meal is a really good option ! I recommend it, and would defn go back.

A lovely restaurant with a nice looking bar, the staff were very friendly and attentive, we had a bottle of champagne and the guy behind the bar let me try some of their more unusual gins, which was very nice of them, we will definitely come back, my husband is already planning his business meetings here!

I was not happy with the offer menu..there was no chicken. The aircon dint work when london was at its hottest.iy was very uncomfortable and one would think that they would at least offer us complimentary water

Located immediately adjacent to Exit 7 of Bank Station, this beautiful former Bank is classily decorated with lots of natural light. The highlight of the Brasserie is the circular bar beneath the enormous glass dome. Great for a business breakfast or for lunch; although, as others have said, the tables are too close together and privacy can be an issue. Service is always great and the food is to a very high standard. Often has two or three course ‘offers’ in the evening, which makes the bill not too bad for the area.

Good quality food with a warm atmosphere. Quite good value if you're booking the set menu on Open Table.

We visited the restaurant very recently and I can only say positive things about the experience. All members of staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome all the time and the food (smoked salmon, sirloin steak and a blueberry crumble tart) was really tasty and cooked as requested. The interior of the place is also imposing but without being loud. We will definitely go back.

Only here for beers, but the place had brilliant service and a lovely civilised ambience. I got food envy from certain other guests.

Good lunch venue with a solid menu. Baked salmon was not overcooked. Presentation was pleasant. The restaurant was a bit warm as temp was in mid-20s and the AC is antiquated. Service was attentive. Space has good natural light and is suitable for conversation despite being busy.

Shared a Christmas work meal here. The location is a beautiful example of London architecture and vibrant atmosphere. Waiter's are attentive with the wine and water. I had the starter of the Goat cheese crottin with cranberry jam & truffle honey, the goats cheese was fairly mild, went very well with the jam. Mains was the Stuffed turkey roulade (with all the trimmings and cranberry sauce), the turkey was nicely cooked, potatoes could have done with being a bit crisper and the brussel spouts were either under done and had a sharp garlic tang or was too over and sulphuric, they overwhelmed the dish. Chocolate mousse with cream was to finish, light desert that was about the right at the end of the meal, the chocolate flavours was reasonable. Overall portions were generous sometimes I came away full but not quite satisfied. Just misses the mark but enjoyable night out.

I visited 1 Lombard Street for a business breakfast - originally drawn to the building’s grand architecture (inside and out) as a good choice to eat with an American colleague from NY. Overall I was very disappointed with the experience. Our coffees were cold and sent back twice (we waited a very long time for the replacements) and the eggs were mediocre - it was 8am and peak City business breakfast hour (incredibly busy), but still I think this was an unacceptable standard. The service we received was mediocre to poor (considering location and price point). I also personally disliked how close the tables are crammed in. I would not recommend this place for a business meeting or, indeed, a relaxing breakfast - mainly because the ambience doesn’t become either of these in my opinion. Like others have said in their reviews, this venue feels tired and a little outdated - almost as if it’s hay-day was 15 years ago.

Great place for low key drinks in the heart of the City. The brasserie also serves lovely food and they usually have a fab 2 or 3 course set menu. The service can be a little slow but it's still one of my favourite places to go around Bank.

Very stylish restaurant When we had dinner at 20:00 it was crowded but many people finished and it was quiet around 21:00. Bread and butter pudding for dessert was heavy after 2 plates course.

A really great quality place to eat in the city. Eat in the restaurant at the back if you don't like background noise. The menu is really good with lots of classics for even the most limited palette. Not cheap but good value for the quality on offer.

Lovely bar and interior. Would be 5 stars, however the loud clubbing music played both inside the restaurant/bar and then outside into the entrance area hugely cheapens this otherwise lovely venue. The building and service is excellent, so the music is unnecessary and encouraged us to leave after a drink when we otherwise would have stayed.

Great location. Had the English breakfast, would recommend the scrabbled eggs over fried. Customer service and breakfast on my first visit was not great but they made it up with a free return visit which shows their dedication to get things right. If Google gave an option I'd actually rate at 4.5 stars, but an giving the benefit of the doubt that they will continue to strive for excellence with a 5 star review.

I had dinner here with my friends yesterday. I was generally satisfied with the food and the service provided. Pros; + Food was fresh. + Staff were polite and concerned. + Meals arrived fast. Cons; + Needs some decoration.

I was 10 minutes early for a breakfast reservation and the front door was open although the restaurant not quite open so I waited in the foyer. I was very rudely informed by Christina that I couldn’t wait inside and she instructed me to wait on the steps outside. Such an odd way to treat a customer. Cancelled my reservation and went elsewhere.

Roasted salmon is very good and the "g'...." (Forgot the name, first one in the list) G&T is very nice. Waiter spilled one of the floor and my colleague unfortunately ;)

Really nice place for a late breakfast with some peace and quiet. The orange juice was served in a glass with a cut crystal band around the circumference in the middle, which always echos The Edwardian Era and is very elegant. The service is of a commensurately high standard and this coupled with the paintings and high ceilings makes for a fine experience in hospitality.

Run down interior, poor service, low quality food and rowdy clientele. This used to be one of the nicer restaurants locally, but now to be avoided.

Good service, good food, reasonably priced - bar too close to tables, creates an uncomfortable conflict between diners and drinkers.

I love it when solicitor's take me out for lunch in the city. I've stopped here for drinks in the evening before, so it was lovely to finally eat here. Fantastic food! Will definitely be going here again!!!

Beautiful vaulted ceiling in the bistro. Special January menus are always good value. Service isn't bad, but not outstanding. Gluten free options are a little basic, but would be nice to have alternatives that one may not get everywhere.

The service is always really attentive and the food is good value, the wine selection could be a bit more bold. Great place for business meetings or a cocktail after work. The bar is really comfortable and the although there's ambiance, one can have a conversation without raising the voice.
