Its easy to be taken in by the look of the place because its quite pleasant (although don't look too closely at the plants!) but the food is very poor. Expensive for what it is, badly written menu which is misleading for what you get. The staff are helpful and try to make amends but whoever is running this place is taking you for a ride. London 2017 there is much better food available for such prices. Don't go to eat.

This was seriously underwhelming. The one star mostly because the cocktail was quite good and the mocktails with ridiculous names delighted our teenagers. The food? One of the blandest burgers (so called cheese burger could not find the cheese) I have ever eaten, for £15?? Wow. Over cooked (although ordered medium) as well. Do yourself a favour and fry a frozen supermarket burger for a tenth of the price it’ll be better. The supposedly New Orleans themed evening (kind of sweet three men jazz band was around) was celebrated with the worst beignets I have ever seen. in the end pretentious hipster style with untrained (while sweet) staff and pretentious interiors (metal bathtub for hand washing in the loo? Please...) and completely overpriced. Go for a cocktail and then leave to get food in a pub for a fifth of the cost it’ll be better. Ok I did like the ceiling fans.

Matt dealt with our table in a fantastic manner for our Friends birthday. Matt, thank you for looking after us and giving our best mate a wicked birthday. Merry Christmas to you!!!!

Smart venue but the full English and eggs Benedict were very average. The full English was served warm but not hot, and didn’t taste fresh so I presume that it was all served from a hot plate. Price was it’s slightly overpriced for what it is.

Beautiful setting, kind of easy to find. It's absolutely stunning inside. I went there for brunch and bottomless drinks which was fun the food was ok. Would go there again to try something else!

What a wonderful evening. Had a lovely table with Patrick taking great care of us. The starters were ok, but not that great to be honest. However the Cote de Beuf main was sensational, the bernaise sauce the best I've ever had and the chunky chips and veg sides were cooked to perfection. The sticky toffee pudding was amazing too....as were the cocktails and wines. All in all very good indeed, just need some better starters (pricey for what you got) . Patrick and the manager Carolyn were both first class!

Really poor service. We were seated 30 minutes late, offered the 'bottomless' cocktails (note they are not bottomless and you will be lucky to get 3 or 4 before they refuse to serve you any more) which tasted really watered down and cheap. It took ages to get a waiters attention, even though it wasn't busy. Several times they straight up forgot to bring us our drinks and when they did remember it took 10-15 minutes to get them. At one point the waitress poured a round of drinks down my back and didn't replace them! As if to make it worse the staff started cleaning the floor whilst leaving me covered in sticky fruit juice. The food probably would have been good if I had got what I ordered, which was pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. What I got was pancakes and bacon - no syrup. Obviously it was pretty dry and I had no drink to wash it down with.. maybe the staff expected me to suck it out of my shirt.

Beautiful space and the brunch was tasty. Service was OK, some not being too knowledgeable. We were also promptly reminded that our table was needed shortly which could have been done a little nicer.

*Not what is is hyped up to be. Classic case of Style over Substance* This place looked amazing from the pictures and the brunch menu got me super excited. When I turned up on a Sunday with two friends, the place did look really nicely designed, was very bright and airy and clearly attracted the trendy 'Made in Chelsea' crowd. All was looking well until we sat down. We weren't served until 40 minutes later and when are food arrived, worrying quickly, it was stone cold. When we all sent our food back, the way the dealt with the situation was appalling and unprofessional - it just appeared that the staff did not want to be there. When I asked for the bill they should have comped the whole thing as we had only had a cup of tea each, and that hardly kept us going for the 40 minute wait. However, they charged us the wapping £5 which I thought was a bit pathetic really. Anyway, needless to say, I won't be returning.

The decor is on point - love the plants and furniture. It outdid the food marginally, but a very beautiful place to have a meal. Recommend!

Very accommodating staff. Excellent salmon starter. Delicious burger. Bavette like shoe leather, but what do you expect? Decor pushes the ladies' pleasure buttons. Lovely breeze in the summer.

Came here as a group for a 30th Birthday on the weekend - our table was 15 minutes late (which wasn't an issue as we were waiting on 1 more person). - Staff were incredibly rude and actually rolled their eyes at us a number of times when we were asking questions/asking if we could order a drink whilst we waited - We found plastic in one of our meals, and in general the atmosphere was rude and un-attentive. - Bottomless Bellini's were definitely watered down with the puree so much that for £18 you could barely tell there was any alcohol in them. - Food was fine, but very pricey for what you get. - Literally the only thing good about this place is the decor. Would not go again

Pretty cool vibe here though you have to book well in advance. Service was excellent and the waitor kept our bottomless drinks constantly coming. Hopefully get to come here again soon.

Great for bottomless brunch... no need to ask for refills! They just bring you more drinks when yours in nearly empty. Breakfast is nice but it could be improved, the food (and the crockery) need more character.

Stunning interior with a huge array of indoor plants. Great selection of cocktails (although their take on a bloody mary isn't anywhere near as good as the original), and the food was delicious too. Highly recommended!

Absurd value for money. Small portions - the Coef de beouf is TINY! Our husbands shared this £60 dish and now we are going to Five Guys as they are still hungry. Waiters could care less. It is lovely venue aesthetically .. but the portion sizes need to be bigger for the price tag and the service so poor. You can do better in the area.

Went there for our Christmas meal last week. We were meant to be more people so the choice of food for us was limited as chef's can't handle the crowd. Even after compromising because we had paid in advance and couldn't get a refund we had to stick to what was being served. Being a vegetarian I was forced to go with miso aubergine and rice. It was so dry and too salty. As the name and reviews go I was expecting a good experience but this was total let down. Desserts weren't great either. I understand it's festive season and they are busy and if they can't deliver what they stand for then I don't think I would ever want to go back. Thank God the wine was flowing else would have repented attending the meal. What a waste of time and money..!! I would not recommend this place. !!

A good brunch with friends. The service was good and the atmosphere is nice with a young and predominantly female crowd on the day we went (Sunday). There were some interesting things on the menu, but nothing spectacular.

Had a marvelous Sunday brunch with spectacular food and bottomless drinks. Only negative I have was that you cannot mix as in have one bloody mary then go to mimosa. However, whatever drink you choose they will be on point with getting you refills. Also try their cocktail menu as they are very delicious.

Always enjoy visiting Bourne & Hollingsworth. Really nice Eggs Royale and the bottomless bellinis are lovely. They're also not stingy and keep the drinks coming without having to ask repeatedly. Staff are nice and the interior design is beautiful. A bit difficult to get a table without booking at least 2 weeks in advance but I was lucky this week and managed to book on Wednesday for the coming Sunday.

Pretty posh place. Came in with no reservation for brunch and managed to get a table rather quickly. The interior was lovely, staff attentive but the food left something to be desired. Would probably recommend something else in the area.

The best brunch I've had in London. Turned up at 9.45am on a sunny Saturday morning. Staff let us take a seat inside whilst they finished setting up ahead of the 10am open. We sat at the bar, which was ideal with the bottomless Bellinis/Bloody Marys, but the conservatory area in the back looked amazing. The food was high quality & tasty, the building itself is light, breezy and nicely styled, the staff were attentive and friendly. Can't recommend it enough.

Painfully pretentious bar. Basically like a chain bar, but charging double and with snooty staff. There is a lovely glass roofed room to the side of the building, but good luck getting anywhere near it, let alone a seat!

I dined here recently with my friends for brunch and upon entering and being seated we were rather impressed by the pretty scenery and delicious looking food being delivered to nearby tables. The waitress welcomed us and proceeded to remind us that we had the table for one and a half hours. No problem! We were a bit slow in ordering due to a late arrival in our party but were aware of time and still ordered and ate well within the timeframe. Despite this the waitress took it upon herself to give us a countdown throughout our stay of how long we had left, often with snarky comments tacked on. We felt rushed and affronted by the attitude and decided at the end that the discretionary charge was not something we wanted to reward her with. Upon her realising this during payment she got defensive and gave us even more attitude of which I have never experienced in a restaurant, justifying to us that we were right in not paying it. And deciding not to return. Other reviewers have commented on haughty service and I can completely concur. London is not lacking of brunch places so I know next time to take my friends to one of the myriad of other highly recommended cafes.

One of those hidden gems in London. Relaxed atmosphere with an almost colonial feel and friendly and attentive staff. It's a great place for brunch and don't forget the bottomless Bellini's or Bloody Mary's... so allow yourself enough time to enjoy and soak it all in.

The brunch is great. I've been more than three times and they always get the food spot on! highly recommended and close to upper street. Great place to start a birthday party which you can easily move to bars around upper street or the Angel area.
