During my first weeks in the UK, while looking for a place to settle into. I endured through so many let downs and turn backs from other agencies whenever I found an available room in a house share. Even though I was very little experience with life in the UK, I was left on my own, and each one of them did the bare minimum to help. Until the day I found co-apts while physically touring lettings agencies as a last resort, and I got so relieved to find so many options, and a formidable team that understand how hard it can be for new students to find a place, and were kind enough to assist me all the way to finding the perfect home at a reasonable price. I can't stress enough how grateful I am both to Saskia Edwards and Jack Easen, for their great work and kindness, who did way more than their obligations to assist me in such challenging times. Thank you so much !

It's always been a pleasure to deal with Coapt and I would like to recommend them all, as they go that extra mile to help and in particular I have been looked after most recently by Charlotte , Jenny and Wes.

The Coapt team I work with – Charlotte Rogers, Wes Cunningham, Jenny Bourner and others – provide an excellent professional service and really do go the extra mile. I have an agent in another city and Coapt outrank them in every department.

I was a rookie landlord with a half converted house when I first went to Coapt (MTM as was) for some advice. That was 7 years ago and the fact I'm still with them says it all. I've always had professional, friendly attention from the team - my current main contacts of Kayleigh and Matt continue the tradition of a solid business foundation delivered with a smile. Thanks.

CoApt have been great again for us in our second year as landlords letting out our flat to students. Great at finding tenants, very quick to manage the paperwork, and have everything finalised and guaranteed for the year ahead. I really like the agency's friendly, no-nonsense, professional approach. And best of all is Syd Wilson, Sales and Lettings Negotiator, who has always excellent to deal with in every way. Speedy, friendly, professional, reliable - Syd is a great reflection of what CoApt is all about.

Despicable agent, formerly MTM, changed the name presumably due to adverse press, here we are again. My daughter and friends have been put through the mill by this company and drained of finances as a consequence of a raft of hidden charges. Unfortunately I was unable to step in due to work commitments, I am mortified by what has happened. A steep learning curve indeed. As a warning to other parents (and landlords) - avoid this agent, they have no interest beyond extorting every last penny from what they view as a disposable commodity (students!). Don't fall for the glossy shop front, the website or the cringe worthy slogans and pitter patter. Read the contract cover to cover, ask questions, dig beneath and you'll find something quite abhorrent. No doubt a patronising 'we're so sorry' reply will appear shortly... they aren't and never have been and will continue until students and landlords wise up to this shameful practice.

Don't fall for the marketing! We enquired about some houses and decided to check any fees first . we were quoted over £1200 in fees just to secure a house. We are now looking elsewhere! Absolute disgrace and daylight robbery. You can get free pens in Argos as well you know!

Seriously, avoid using them at all costs- we were charged £500 at the end of our tenancy due to finger scuffs on walls- alongside an additional £300 cleaning fee. On top of making us pay another additional £500 for what is obviously "fair wear and tear" as described on the tenancy agreement.

My house has been managed through Coapt for over 10 years and it's never been empty. They're quick to respond to issues and always provide a good service!

Their business is set up to squeeze every last penny from their student tenants- because they can. Assume from the start you won't get much of your deposit back. Our house was arguably in a better state when we left than when we arrived, yet we were charged for things we hadn't done, despite challenging them. How our landlord was allowed to part-manage our house will always be a mystery to us, he was honestly the most useless and incapable man I have met. Our house had no carpet for 3 months of our tenancy, despite being promised a new one for when we moved in. The cooker actually broke kitchen safety regulations (but that's fine in co-apts eyes. We had no fridge for 2 months and it took an unbelievable amount of effort to get him to replace it. These are just two examples of issues, the list goes on and on I just don't have the time to explain it all. We were given a 45 page document with charges- despite the house being in a better state than when we moved in like I said. Including a 'cleaning charge' for a piece of paper on the carpet no bigger than a thumbnail, which was laughable. Our landlord also said it was fine to prop the fire door open for the majority of the tenancy which just isn't legal. I would avoid coapt if you can, although as a student rents company they are effectively untouchable and will continue to rip students off. They recently rebranded themselves from MTM to Coapt and I wouldn't be surprised if this is something they do regularly to try and hide their bad press and give people a false hope that it is a good ethical business. Most of all though, if you ever deal with a landlord named 'Volkan Yilam' , run away from the deal immediately, I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if this slimey, useless man has even dodgier dealings on a darker level. I doubt he can even tie his own shoe laces he is that useless.

avoid these people !!! this company has very high rent and fees and never fix or repair anything, we have mice and no heating for weeks, then they keep asking if we are renewing the contract OF COURSE NO. we never use this company again when there are other places to choose. our studies have been not good because of the cold house with mold.
