They have been nothing but reliable, efficient and incredibly helpful. Easily the best experience I’ve ever had of a letting agency! After giving up from being on hold for 50minutes through admin and accounts when I managed to speak to someone at the hove office they organised for someone to call me back so I didn’t need to wait on hold anymore. When the call came through the person who helped me was really lovely and helpful. She was friendly and took time to chat to me which gave a very personal touch to the service.

Rented a flat in a despicable state with mould and a faulty oven. The oven turned into a great danger when the wiring completely failed and the fire brigade had to be called out in the middle of the night. Landlords avoid putting your flat in their hands, they won't do any maintenance and your property will loose value at a faster rate.

I had a really good experience with King & Chasemore. Everyone I dealt with there has been super helpful and professional, especially Ryan and Rebecca who I had the most communication with. They booked us in for an appointment, all the way from London and when we came at the property, their answer was that the property was let 10 min before us, no body called saying that the property is not available any longer for us not to loose the time. When I rented through this branch the people I dealt with were very friendly and good. I’ve not really had any problems until today. Dan called to give some very important information re the tenancy and was of the understanding I was aware of what he was saying via a letter some time ago. I never received the letter and told him this. So as he isn’t in my opinion a very good communicator and contradicted himself during our conversation I asked a couple of times just for clarity of the situation. He became rather dismissive and rude and I told him that I felt he was being rude . He obviously didn’t accept this criticism but that’s his choice not to do so. Overall a very good impression of this company going in has now been trashed coming out and I would not use them again after today’s experience.

These other reviews must be fake, I reccomend everyone to avoid king and chasemore and countywide lettings like the absolute Black Plague, I don’t care if you’ve found the house of your dreams go else where.
Expect to be spoken to like absolute trash over the phone, all of your complaints to not be taken seriously, to be told that the landlord is ‘too broke’ to resolve vital house issues
On top of the fact that everything they charge for is astronomical £300 per person for referencing when other agencies in Brighton do it for half that price, even want £30 to provide a reference to a new landlord.
After many years of having to deal with them I will never ever be making that mistake again.

I have recently rented a flat with King and chasemore, Norfolk square and genuinely have found the whole team professional, but always friendly and always willing to help where they can.
Kristina was the agent who dealt specifically with my rental and was a brilliant every step of the way!! She worked extremely hard to keep me informed of the whole process, and even when when there was a slight glitch in a tenant backing out at the last minute- she did all she could to make sure the move went ahead and I felt took a real interest in our situation.
She was always very patient as were all of the team whenever I dropped by or rang up.
I am now so happy in the flat I am renting and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this branch to anyone else in the area looking to rent or buy!

As is the case with most low-cost housing in Brighton, we had the occassional problem (which ultimately comes down to the landlord) but were very happy with the respect we were treated with by King and Chasemore. Past letting agents have ignored us and frozen us out, and tried to steal deposits over minor things etc, King and Chasemore Brighton is not like that at all. Nice, helpful people.
