Find a better dentist! Booked an appointment & arrived for my appointment (as you would) when I arrived was told my appointment needed to be rescheduled due to corona and then was told it was cancelled and then was told I should of informed them I was coming into my appointment.. If I wasn't going to come to my appointment I would of called up myself to cancel, not sure why it was cancelled on my behalf.. seemed unorganised.
The receptionist who said her name was Adele was beyond rude, cut me off severely times when I was speaking and raised her voice which I was slightly shocked as she should have been apologetic if anything.. at least fake it... Will be finding a better dentist because if they can't get the service right I highly doubt anything else would be good.

I have been coming to this dentist for over 20 years and the service care, concern and planned treatment has given me years of peace of mind and more importantly I've kept most of my teeth! The receptionist Adele and dental staff Amelia.... Lina.....and all staff including the excellent cleaners of the premises...... I cannot thank you all enough and never have any fears or worries about my treatment.... Thank you!

I have been a patient at Smile Essential for a number of years. I used to be a very nervous patient and really hated going to the dentist after having several bad experiences at other dentists in Leicester. The staff are very friendly and very helpful too.From the moment you walk in to the time you leave you are put at ease and any treatment you receive is explained to you .I have recently moved to the Isle of Wight but I will be coming back to Leicester so I can have my treatment at Smile Essential

Very nice - the receptionists are very smiley and kind - they offer you refreshments while waiting. Dentist was brilliant and spoke through all the steps. She spoke reassuringly and explained everything. Highly recommended.

Smile Essential makes you smile on the inside as well as the outside!
For a good smile, yes, your teeth need to be white & straight and Smile Essential will certainly work to fix that for you.
However, your smile also reflects your inner happiness and sense of well-being. There is nothing worse than a false smile!
I am a full-time carer for my elderly mother, who has severe dementia. The service which my mother and I receive at Smile Essential is exceptional.
I cannot speak too highly of the sensitive yet professional approach of the staff at every level, particularly regarding my mother.
So, to improve both your inner and your outer smile, I would recommend Smile Essential

I can' not rate this practice highly enough, from the moment you walk in to the practice you are met with a very warm wekcome that is genuine, the dentists are very caring and understanding, using all the latest technology to help the patient through there journey, and the nurses are all highly skilled and friendly, If you are a nervous patient then this practice has a fantastic manager and team that will discuss all the treatment you will receive, and I highly rate her knowledge and experience, smile essential specialist practice for caring for nervous patients, it is simply a must for any patient looking for a new dental practce that cares and offers genuine top quality Service

I can't enthuse enough about this practice. The staff are all amazing and make you feel extremely welcome and very much at ease.
I had avoided going to the dentist for YEARS and Smile Essential not only managed to reassure me for the emergency appointment, but have also rebuilt my confidence in the profession and have regular check ups.
Again, I can't enthuse enough about them, they are absolutely fantastic.

Found this amazing practice upon good recommendation from other people. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Appointment system is so efficient. Always notified me straight away when a sooner appointment became available. Didn’t get ripped off for my cosmetic dental treatment like other practices were offering. Would definitely come here again for all my dental needs as the dentist I saw provided me amazing care, treatment and advice

After several years with my previous dentist - and dreading every visit - I decided I needed to change. I can't believe the difference, not only in the quality of care but also the dentistry which is far more advanced than I have experienced before. I have just had root canal treatment and can honestly say that on each of my visits I haven't felt the slightest bit nervous - the team have looked after me fantastically and I am very happy with the results.

The staff at Smile Essential are so friendly and professional. They really put me at ease. I had a facial aesthetic treatment and they made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. Highly recommendable dentist. I joined the practice in May, I was looking around for a dentist who could do cosmetic work for a while.
This place is nice and clean and staff were always friendly, I really felt taken care of.
I knew I wanted veneers, I thought I needed them on all my teeth but I have just had the top front 4 done.
Before I had them the dentist had some models made up to check that veneers would work for me and so I could see what they looked like. Fortunately I loved them! And love them even more now their in and I'm smiling from ear to ear. I had my teeth bleached first and then the dentist got the lab man in to do a specialist colour match and my veneers look amazing and so natural.
They have a membership plan which I joined as I saved 15% on my treatment and I spread the cost over all the appointments.
I can't recommend these guys enough. Thank you!!! :-D

The nicest dentists I have ever visited. The building and equipment is all new and the staff are all lovely.
I saw Lina who explained every step of the process to me and was more than helpful for any questions I had. She went out of her way to help get my treatment done as soon as possible and always made me comfortable.
A little bit more pricey than other dentists in the area but definitely worth the price.

Great dentist, much better than the last one I went to who struck me off because I'd not been in for a year! Anyway, I called them up with a sharp broken tooth and Adele managed to get me in the next day with Shrik who sorted everything out and it didn't hurt at all. I decided to join their membership plan as I want to go back every 6 months and it is great value for money for just under £13 a month. Really clean and modern dentists would definitely recommend them to anyone in Leicester

Having had not so good experiences in the past with dentists who are always running late (hence a 30 to 45 minute wait in the reception area) followed by a rush check up, Smile Essential was a refreshing change.

Visited this dentist practice, was ready to carry on with my treatment which was costing a few thousands. I paid 85 quid for the consultation and was ready to proceed. However, THANKFULLY i didn't go ahead. The dentist NIK thinks he is the only dentist in Leicester. He would get frustrated when the equipment didn't fit in my mouth. I was watching his facial expressions throughout and he seemed agitated and would correct your vocab like he is the only one who knows the technical dentist language. Honestly i think the reviews above are scam or I was treated differently because i wore a headscarf. Although i can't lie the receptionist and dental nurses were REALLY GOOD. Nik was the main problem. He didn't seem reassuring and was happy to let go of customers. Absolutely disgusted the way he thinks he can be so rude and say "go visit a specialist". Your job is to make customers who feel anxious about their treatment better, not worse. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Whilst I cannot comment on the skill of their dentists due to my lack of knowledge, I can safely say that the people I interacted with were some of the most helpful I have ever had the pleasure of encountering in such a setting.

My experience was a fantastic one, throughout the whole process from the enquiry & booking process and to the treatment & aftercare process. I’ve put off going to the dentist for more years than I care to admit. I researched so many dentists before finally deciding to register here.
Out of everyone I spoke to they were the first to email me back and definitely the friendliest over the phone(dawn).
On arriving The receptionist (Adele) was so friendly and just nice, I know people are probably more bothered about the dentist but for me I tend to judge a place by the first person I speak to.
My dentist Zsolt was new to the dentist surgery he was very nice and told me everything he was about to do without making me feel scared.
Can’t recommend this overall experience enough.

I'd like to express my personal experience's with smile.
For years I had left my dental care as I didn't like going to the dentists (from bad experiences), but eventually I plucked up the courage and went to smile.
What a surprise I was in for , polite friendly staff who explained everything at every part of the way. No pressure that you might expect from a private practice or up-selling just looking out for my own interests and teeth!
To date I have had to have some fillings and a root canal. I was wary of each one but you do not even feel the needle going in! To numb the area ,they use numbing cream before hand.The root canal did not hurt what so ever, ( however there was a throbbing pain afterwards for about 12 hours but nothing compare to the sensitivity that I had felt before hand)

I am a very nervous patient and hate the dentist, I haven't been for 15 years! But I broke a tooth and thought enough was enough. After scouring the internet I find this place and their website looked really good and everyone seemed to be recommending them. I am so glad I did! I still feel nervous but the way they treat me I almost feel as if they are holding my hand every step of the way. The staff at reception make you a cup of tea if the dentist is running abit behind, it has a good atmosphere and doesn't feel too dentisty. I feel very confident in the dentist and he was so reassuring and friendly. I'm still nervous but glad I'm getting it sorted out. The dentist is so good I wish I found this dentist sooner.
