I have been going to this dentist for years now. All the dentists I've seen over the years have been great and really patient with my dentist anxiety and fears. I used to avoid going to the dentist but since joining here, I go regularly. I currently see Muhammad, and both he and his dental nurse have been great every time I've been. Definitely would recommend them.

We are regular users of this practice. Dr Pooja Bagade cares for my twins. She’s friendly, easy going and competent. She’s great with kids and I have got no complaints whatsoever. She is a great aesthetic consultant too and I have had Botox and chemical peels done from her. She’s well read, experienced and personalises the care to suit your needs. I would highly recommend this dentist for your care!

A great dental practice near to Highcross. The practice was clean and well maintained. The staff are polite and friendly, I was seen on time which is important. I had a clean and polish and had fillings. The dentist was very good, he explained what he was going to do and why and also advised on how to maintain good gum and teeth health. Would certainly recommend this practice.

Very respectful staff from the reception to dentists. My husband was seen by dr Mohammed who was very caring and shared every solution possible, so that we had a wide range of options to choose from. The dentist did a brilliant job with fixing a crown for my husbands front tooth which sits and looks comfortably natural. Overall it was a great experience and worth every penny spent as the results are more than perfect. Definitely going back in the future and would strongly recommend.

No reflection on the nurse whatsoever but the dentist does not know the meaning of customer service or empathy. Was made to feel stupid and small. I felt a hindrance to her day when I was in severe pain. She insisted I didn't have an infection until she re-examined me and burst the infection.

I have tried desperately to reach the practice via emails text & visit to find out why we were charged £60 for parking within the Citydental customer car park (owned by the practice) on a family dentist visit in Feb. The car management camera time-watch matches the exact time all three of us were being seen by dentist. I can understand the need to deter shoppers parking there but not on dental checks. I registered my children here about six years ago having read good reviews and obviously wouldn’t have if I’d be getting charged for car parking space too. After all I go past several dentist with free parking from my house to the city. I need to hear from other patients where they park their car during Citydental visits please.

Fantastic practice, recommended to me from a friend - Was able to book me in (twice) in short notice as a new patient as was in tremendous pain and saved a tooth and replaced a failed filling - great team and great customer experience. I was seen by Mohammad Dastgir and he couldn't have been more helpful, great Dentist! Would recommend - an NHS dentists better than some private practices I've been to.

Very pleasant indeed! Mohamned is a great dentist who listens to the patient and takes care of him/her with great attention.. ThAnd you for the great experience and quality work you have done on my teeth. I am usually apprehensive about needles and it was no sweat at all. In fact, I am ready for the next needle, thanks to your gentle touch. Mohamned is very funny. Being in the dentists chair can be quite intimidating he makes the atmosphere very relaxing!!!! I would happily recommend him. 5 stars A.iqbal

This is a follow up to a previous review. Initially I stated that the staff here have good bedside manner and so forth and I still stand by that. However, apparently some staff are lacking in basic knowledge and diligence. Some back story and what happened during my time as a patient here: I required a referral to the NHS for an MRI scan of my teeth. After waiting three months to receive an appointment, I asked city dental what was taking so long. It turned out they hadn't submitted the paper work to the hospital. On a return visit I required some dental work for which they administered a local anaesthetic. They left me in the reception for so long after administering that the local anaesthetic wore off. They began dental work by grinding a tooth which caused me quite severe pain. At which point I'd had enough and left their practice. I left a review with my thoughts of their surgery, which was honest and open, three stars as I didn't at that point believe that they were entirely bad, scroll down in case you're curious. The surgery responded by disclosing some of my private medical records, right here on a Google review. I had to respond by informing them they'd violated the data protection (GDPR) laws by disclosing private medical record information online without my express permission. They did of course edit this information out, but it took me directly emailing them and informing them I would refer them to the ICO if they did not. Ultimately, this demonstrates that this surgery cares more about its reputation than the welfare of its patients in my own humble opinion. In their response they also failed to address any of my concerns and instead went straight for the "We have protocols we need to follow" excuse. Which is a shame. It's also worth noting they responded to the review approximately a year after it was left. I recommend that you avoid this surgery at all costs and instead seek better reviewed practices.

Inexperienced dentists. Two visits and each visit the dentist did wrong upper molar restorations. Another dentist recommended extraction of another tooth which was an extreme solution. I am still living with that tooth and resored it 100% by going to another dentist.... simply city dental is terrible and not worth the money.

This dentist does try and the staff are reasonable in the sense that their bedside manner is pleasant. I've never been treated rudely here. However... I went in during October 2017 as I have a large cavity in my third molar on the right side of my mouth. They x-rayed me for a better view to discover that as my wisdom teeth are impacted, the second molar needs a filling and the wisdom tooth removing. They sent me to another dental clinic to have the tooth removed and they immediately refused to do the work (rightfully so) as my wisdom tooth looks to have a nerve wrapped around its root. City dental were supposed to send paperwork to the NHS so that I can get an MRI scan to see where the nerve is. I suggested that I'd be more comfortable having the wisdom teeth crowns removed so that the teeth can be removed after the roots have been absorbed into my mouth. Long story short, I've been waiting six months, they forgot to send paperwork to the hospital and previously less damaged teeth have become more damaged. I don't recommend this dental surgery to anyone.

NOT GOOD AT ALL .. I use to use this dentist for about 15 years NOT ANYMORE. They use to be one of the best dental practices in Leicester but now they must be one of the worst not one of the same dentistry are there anymore they have all left and the new people they have brought in do not have a clue... everything is pull it out they can not get a simple route canal done without ruining the whole tooth so u have to go back and get it taken out anyway in order to get more money off the NHS the create problems with other teeth so u have to come back for more treatments. I was and still an Very disappointed with the way my treatment has gone since Rick and a few of the others have moved on I would not recommend this dentist practice to anyone!!!

Could only recommend to someone that I wanted to suffer. I've in the past been someone that goes dentist on an emergency basis through a phobia. My bad I know, but dentists like these only make people like me worse. They run a conveyer belt system where the injection is done seconds before the drill is turned on, effectively chasing the effect of the anaesthetic, and the pain of having the gum separated from the tooth was awful. 3 to 5 minutes wait is not too much to ask surely! If I had proof, I would have sued. Aesthetic smiles, that they referred me to on one occasion were amazing, so much so, I nearly fell sleep during an extraction. I will now be using them on a private basis

I had a filling done by a young new dentist about a year ago. She made a mistake by making a big gap in my tooth as she was not experienced and confident enough to fill a small gap. I was in discomfort from day one but I was told that it will go away once I get used to it. Then I went for my routine checkup and I was told by a different dentist that the previous dentist was no longer with them. I explained what had happened and that the pain is increasing day by day and that I don't think this is normal. He checked it and x-rayed it and he acknowledged that this pain was caused by an incorrect deep filling close to the nerve. He provided me with 2 options either to refill it which is not advised as there isn't much of my tooth left from what the previous dentist did or to leave it and see if it gets any worse then to visit them again. I went last week as the pain was unbearable and could not sleep for 3 nights in a row and even called the emergency dental service which they confirmed that the pain comes from the nerve. They advised me to see my dentist first thing in the morning to sort out the problem. I booked an appointment first thing in the morning. I was seen by a senior dentist that he confirmed the same thing as the previous dentist but he wanted to make sure by x-raying it but the x-ray machine was not working so he could not x-ray it. He told me that he will book me in for a root canal in 2 weeks time without having it xrayed and also the pain was unbearable. Then he took me to reception to book the appointment and wanted to charge me £20 for this visit which nothing was done and it only took 4 minutes in total. Then he also said to me that I have to pay another £20 for the previous visit I had. I was surprised and said that last time I asked the receptionist what do I need to pay and she told me I don't need to pay anything. He told me well I'm telling you now. I said this is unacceptable as I was not contacted regarding this and it is your negligence so I'm not paying for something that was a couple of months ago. He then shouted at me in the reception in front of everyone and said Go and find another dentist then and walked off. I was so humiliated and also been left in pain and discomfort and cannot sleep. I will make sure I will contact the dental council about this.

Having called up with a pain when I arrived she said it was a check up and their x ray machine was broken but they'd call me asap. I waited a month before calling for another apptment. She then xrayed it and said due to damage (caused by sugar!) I needed 3teeth out. She then referred me to another practice and they're going to call me to book fix! Useless. She seemed more interested in her costa than looking in my mouth or relieving my pains.
