What’s happened to this surgery? Website isn’t working to book an appointment and the receptionist told me to call back on Tuesday then sent me a link for push doctor which stated no appointment left try again later. No wonder people use A&E as a doctors surgery (not that I would) but where do we go when we can’t even book an appointment for a future date. This surgery used to be so good and people focused but since Modality took over it and everything moved to online their patient care is sadly no longer.

Receptionist 'Trish' was extremely rude, I worked in a doctors surgery myself when I was younger, she definitely shouldn't be answering the phones... The surgery seems way to concerned about a virus rather then the actual state of mind and well being of its patients

I called on Monday the 5th October 2020 for an appointment for my little girl. Trish, the receptionist was so polite and booked me a same day telephone consultation with Doctor Sahota. The doctor was so warm and professional! Honestly as a first time mom with frustration and anxiety regarding an ill child during this pandemic I truly was so grateful for the service I received. I felt compelled to review because too many good deeds go unmentioned in today’s world. Thank you for your services you are appreciated.

We left WMC to come here about 4 years ago and have never had a problem getting an appointment. Receptionists always friendly...dont always see the same doctor but happy to have an appointment!

Recently transferred here (12 months ago), what a breath of fresh air . Lovely to see the same doctor , nurses and receptionist all the time . i have never had a problem getting an appointment, all the staff are friendly and professional , and normally run on time . And as a bonus free parking right outside ! 10/10 sooooo much better than the larger surgery i was at

It is impossible to get an appointment here. I phoned in the morning and was told to ring at 2pm. At 2pm on the dot I was then told all the appointments for that afternoon had gone and was told to try again the next day at 8am! No doubt tomorrow at 8am I suspect they will have all gone again!

From a regulation point of view, the surgery was ranked 'unacceptable' this year on many categories (the lowest you can get). It's not clear from the letters if anyone other than the doctor changed as a result.
But from a patient point of view? terrible. Not available at all. No priority is given at this surgery to young children and after several days of ringing at opening and not being able to get seen, we had no choice but move surgeries.
Record keeping didnt appear good after receiving letters based on incorrect medical records and notes not being added for subsequent visits (on the odd occaision we did get to see someone!).
It's a fantastic surgery if you never ever need medical attention.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hlaing for many years now and I am 71 years old. He is without doubt the best doctor I have had in my lifetime. He always takes time to explain his treatment and any information on health issue you might have.
I recently shared a bus with several people who were all complaining about their doctors. Only one other person was complimentary about his doctor. I later found he too had the same doctor as myself.
Unqualified reference for this man and this practice.

Been trying for 3 days to get an appointment to see a doctor, what a joke, the cqc got rid of the last doctor which was running this surgery due to him struggling to run it on his own, now the new group thats running this surgery are doing the same..massive amounts of people on their books and only one doctor again to run it...i think a call to the cqc is needed...iam a diabetic and need to see a doctor..

This surgery haa gone down hill big time. To many people registered there. Can never get an appointment. Ever since it has been taken over it has been a terrible experience each time i go to an appointment. My recent app just the other day it was for 5pm i didnt get out til gone 6pm. Sometimes iv waited even longer. When i was there recentpy the whole waiting room was moaning at eachother about the experience and waiting time. Once upon a time it was a fantastic surgery to go to. Now it is major hassle. If you need an emergency prescription on the day it is very hard to sort out and there are chances it wont get aorted. So anyone on majpr meds like me sometimes have to go without which can be dangerous

Dr Hlaing is lovely. His clinics run behind schedule sometimes but that's because Dr Hlaing doesn't rush his patients and lets you take the time you need, which I think is great.
