I have had issues with a wax build up in my ears for many many years but this time was by far the worst !!
Donna was , without doubt , the most gentle , fast and professional practioner I have ever seen and pleasant and friendly as well
My hearing is the best it has been in years !!

I have a problem with ear wax accumulating in my right ear. I am a regular customer at Hear4U, who supplied my hearing aids, and I phoned for an appointment.This was available promptly within 2 days and my ear was syringed and the wax removed by an audiologist kitted out with all the covoid19 safety equipment. Problem solved and I was able to reduce the volume settings on all my audiovisual equipment. Very satisfied.

I was surprised when my GP told me they no longer offer ear syringing. I hadn't been to have my ears cleaned for over two years then all of a sudden I became as deaf as a post, I tried the Olive Oil drops every day for a week but it made no difference so I looked at the private clinics to get something done. Many offered to do the job but there long waiting periods up to six weeks in one case. I Came across an advert for Hear4U, phoned them and had an appointment four days later.
I have just returned from a 45 min session with Ben Oliver one of their technicians and after using micro suction as well as warm water irrigation he had me clear and hearing like a youngster even though I'm 81. I can now hear my car engine, use a phone and watch TV with Vol set at 10 instead of 50 so Ben and hit took kit did the job and we even had a laugh when I asked him to be careful he didn't such what's left of my brains out?

My second visit to Hear4U, this time for for ear wax microsuction and another great experience - very friendly and helpful, knowledgeable staff and good technology including camera feed to enable the client to see inside the ear canals. Would definitely recommend and will use their services again - but hopefully not too soon! ????

Excellent service and really friendly and helpful staff. I have been suffering with vertigo and blocked ears and Donna checked my ears without an appointment and then when I returned a few days later she removed the wax and gave me advice and a referral for my doctor. She also arranged for her colleague Brendan who is a chiropractor to give me advice on my condition. Thank you to you both. I would definitely recommend this company they are brilliant!

I went to Leicester Hear 4U at the Start of August this year having not been able to get my GP surgery to offer any help. I started by contacting your Kettering branch which unfortunately was fully booked for a number of weeks and they suggested Leicester. I was transferred and able to make a booking within a week which was a godsend. I duly arrived and was immediately put at ease by the receptionist who dealt with the formalities in a brisk, professional manner. After a short wait I was seen by Roger who was to carry out the wax removal in both ears. He started by an examination - he offered to show me pictures of the was in situ - I declined, but many might have an interest in being inside their ear canal! Two procedures are offered - water syringing and suction - depending on the state of the wax a decision is made on the spot. I had already oiled my ears for a couple of weeks prior to the visit and so opted for water syringing. At every stage Roger explained what was happening and within 30 minutes I was able to live with hearing restored! Throughout my contact with Hear 4U I was dealt with promptly and professionally. The nature of the procedure was explained together with the costs (a £30 deposit is required at the time of booking). As this all happened during Covid I was anxious that there would be extensive sanitising arrangement s in place and there were. I am extremely happy with their service from start to finish and can thoroughly recommend this company if you too are suffering from the blight of blocked ears. Christopher from Wellingborough.

GP surgery were unable to offer syringing service so I found Hear4U and was so pleased that I did! Was booked in a few days later, Donna was very friendly and helpful, could not be more pleased with the results I can now hear properly again, procedure was painless and fast. I was fed up with constant delays from my GP surgery and needing to add oil to my ears for 2, 3 or 4 weeks. Hear4U gave me an appointment in just 3 days and only needed oil in my ears for those 3 days prior to my appointment. The service was excellent and much quicker and efficient than my surgery. I would definitely recommend them and I'm sure I'll be back.

I attended Hear 4U recently after the Nurse at my Doctors Surgery told me it was now not cost effective for them to clear my blocked ears! I therefore decided to use Hear 4U. My appointment was on time. Everything was very clean. After speaking to Donna it was decided to try water to clear my ears. Within seconds my hearing was returned to normal in my left ear and then again in the other one. The whole process took minutes. Very effective and at a competitive price.

After years of frustration with basic NHS hearing aids I heard about hear4u and made an appointment. I was visited by Roger Stokes who tested my hearing, discussed options, and signed me up to a pair of new hearing aids. Sadly the right aid soon failed, producing a constant crackling noise. Roger arranged for it to be replaced. Then the left aid began to be so very quiet as to be virtually useless. So I tried to change the wax shield but ended up with the disk impacted in the end of the receiver... the design of this aspect needs a serious rethink: it’s fine when it works, but it is an overly delicate manoeuvre. But again Roger to the rescue with his customary courtesy, kindness, tact, and efficiency and he replaced that receiver too. So now I had two aids functioning as they should, versatile and easily controlled via an app on my phone, and so comfortable that I’ve been known to forget they’re there so I have slept with them in. So four stars for the aids but 5+ stars for Roger Stokes and hear4u.

I was incredibly nervous and was made to feel at ease the entire time. Donna, who attended to me, was incredibly lovely and explained everything she was doing very clearly and also told me what is good and not good for my ears. I also spoke to Michelle multiple times on the phone before meeting her at the clinic and she was very friendly and organised my appointment quickly and efficiently. PPE was provided and everything was sanitised after use. Would not go anywhere else.

Great service been having my ears cleaned for 20 years at LRI waiting times were getting ridiculous. Came across Hear4U by accident and thank god. I just want to say a HUGE heartfelt “well done” to every single person at our Leicester practice for everything you are all doing during the most difficult times any humans have faced. You are so professional, polite, customer focussed and can rightly be so proud of yourselves - that you are bringing some form of “normality” and “humanity” back into people’s lives. Wax removals, hearing tests, online shop orders, phone calls, emails, hearing aid repairs, Veterans Foundation, marketing, website maintenance etc, whilst also maintaining required social distancing (when possible!) and wearing PPE too - doing your best to ensure patient safety as well as your own.
I have been an audiologist for 26 years and worked for some of the big national companies. I rejoined Hear4U two years ago and, without a shadow of a doubt I can honestly say this is THE most professional, honest and customer focussed company I have ever worked for.
Well done everyone from the bottom of not just my heart, but I’m sure that all of our patients would agree and say a huge thank you for being there. Stay safe everyone and look after yourselves as well.
