A lovely experience from start to finish. Professional staff from check in and throughout the service. The perfect amount of attention so that we were never interrupted during our meal but didn't have to wait to catch someone's eye when we needed something. The food was lovely and the chocolate bombe quite probably the nicest desert I have ever had dining out. It was our anniversary so we also got a little donut cake at the end of our meal. Due to current restrictions we had to eat outside, but the whole experience was so lovely, I don't think the chilly weather made any difference. We will be back next year when hopefully we can experience it all over again ... in the warm!

We really enjoyed our first inside dining since lockdown...food was great and service exemplary....however, as we waited for my husband to get the car for our 93yr old dad....we were told (albeit politely) that they required our table at 2.00pm (time was 1.55pm). That's fine until I realised I had booked 12.30pm to 2.30pm slot...didn't spoil the experience....just rankled at me.

Ambiance great, staff wonderful...four medium rare steaks: three blue and one medium...yeh! Cannot fault front of house for trying to put things right! Chef needs to be checking what leaves his kitchen! We left reasonably happy, if only one of still hungry!

Absolutely fantastic, I and three friends from Sussex University were allowed in wearing scruffy clothes (Shorts) after I explained that we had just earlier in the day won the lottery on a Lucky number 7s scratch card. We ordered everything and will be back again soon!

At The Ivy. I had my wedding reception here on Saturday. We were treated like kings and queens - a big thank you to Jemima from head office who took control as coordinator from the beginning. Everything was perfect. Another big thank you to Lily who took charge on the day ensuring everything ran smoothly and everyone was happy! The table looked beautiful. Thank you so much for a beautiful evening - the good was delicious! Especially the Chocolate Bombe ????
P.s The toilets are also amazing - especially when you are trying to navigate in a wedding dress!!

My mum invited me to a late lunch here and it was truly lovely. Excellent service, as expected, but just a very fun and interesting restaurant.
Food was good and fantastic interiors, not what I expected... but the ladies bathrooms... fantastic. So much so that I took a photo of as many as I could!

The only issue we had was how fishy it smelt. Which isn't that classy and desirable. The host showed us to our seats and the barmen were very helpful, and quick with the cocktails. It was hot and they were more than happy to top up our glasses of water without any prompting. The service is by far the best in Brighton. Would I go back? We have already said we'd love to pop back for cocktails and have booked a date for lunch.

We had dinner here last night to celebrate our 36th Wedding Anniversary. The staff were lovely, especially Chris who was serving us. The ambience is delightful, bright and airy. The food was delicious. At the end of the evening we were given a dessert with Happy Anniversary chocolates which was lovely. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again. Thank you for making our evening so special.

Absolutely stunning decor to start with, food is incredible, the truffle arancinini starter is in particular amazing. Extensive cocktail menu and great wine selection. Staff were great too, definitely book before you go, even if just for a drink!

The design is lovely with a feeling of opulence. The staff were charming. Had to remind them that the set menu was till 6.30 as not offered this menu till requested even though it was 6. Food ok nothing special and overpriced. Good fun for a small group I would think.

Beautiful place with nice decoration inside. The service is very good, staff is always stand by to take your orders. The food wss delicious and I found the desert, banana ice cream, very tasty and the highlight of the night. Cocktails were another good and strong point. Fabulous ambience, stunning decor, sumptuous food fit for kings and queens and wonderful staff. I have been a few times now and my first review said "not much choice for vegetarians" well, I now know they have a whole veggie/vegan menu so just ask!! All of the curry type mains are delicious and you can chop and change bits from both menus. This place exceeded my expectations at a very reasonable price. A first class dining experience..

My first visit to The Ivy in Brighton. There were 6 of us and we all had a wonderful meal. The decor is amazing so colourful very high standard of furniture as you would expect for The Ivy chain. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Even the toilet is so well decorated. Prices are slightly high but there is plenty of choice to pick from. Only downside I was disappointed that the staff did not wear masks or visors.

I ordered scallops as a starter and the head waiter, called Michele, reccomended me the pie as it should not to be missed. And he was absolutely right, I never tried something similar. He got me a very professional service and was absolutely kind, always helpful, caring of and smiling. The local beers were very nice ones and the design, as all ivy restaurants, brilliant. Top 1 in Brighton!

The atmosphere here is amazing! Decorated like an 80s restaurant with bright walls and lavishly decorated dining rooms this is a must visit. Even the bathrooms are decorated to perfection. The food was very good quality and I loved the peach bellini! We also came back for breakfast the next day and I had the omelette.

I came here with my girlfriend and we were feeling something quite fancy, and something where could just compliment the hotel we were staying in. We enjoyed lovely fish and chips, prawn cocktail for starters, some cocktails, sourdough break and a fillet dish. Overall I was very impressed on how great the service was and enjoyed the environment.

The service and food here really was exemplary. Perfection! There are grotty pubs and bars in Brighton that sell inferior meals and cocktails for more money. Really. Normally, no Guinness means no five stars for me, but this is an exception. Absolutely loved my time there.

When I enquired they could only fit us in at 10pm. I risked it. Thought we would be rushed in and out, but no. Staff were very helpful. No pressure at all. Menu has an excellent selection. There are various menus offered at different times of the day. The a la Carte suited. There was an array of wines to choose from, with some expensive vintage reds. Rib eye steak was cooked to perfection. Their truffle and Parmesan chips are to die for. My friends burger was declared excellent. We shared cheese to finish. A lovely dinner in beautiful surroundings with excellent service.

Came here few weeks ago and had a lovely time. Food was lovely. Decided to bring my partner here as a treat and wish we hadn't. The service was great just disappointed with the food. Our starters were okay and then I had the chicken milanese and whilst the flavour was nice it was all soggy underneath... i had some thick cut chips and they were awful tasted as if they had been sat there for agesl i ate 3 or 4 of them. My partner had the monk fish and prawn curry and whilst the flavour was lovely the lack of mobk fish and prawns let it down,3 pieces of fish and 5 prawns. Not alot to be honest. Would I visit again... doubtful which is a shame..

A spectacular space, beautifully designed. The cocktails are creative and not bad value - I can recommend the Candy Floss Fizz! Food as expected was excellent. Don’t miss the Parmesan truffle chips. Decor has lots of Brighton and seaside touches that really make this a unique experience.

Good to come back to The Ivy. This year I my work Christmas party was booked at the Tidal room. Everything was great the drinks the food and the service! I had salmon which tasted amazing. Highly recommend this place even just for drinks. Food here is amazing and afternoon tea is also one of the best here.
