My partner and I had a fantastic time at the Ivy last night, it really couldn’t have been better. The surroundings are beautiful with perfect warm and attentive staff, who dealt with a difficult customer seated near us with absolute professionalism. The food and cocktails were great- we can’t wait to go back soon!

Having diner at The Ivy many times, Brighton might be one of my favourite venues. The inside decor is beautiful (with the toilets becoming their own selfie spot). The food has always been excellent whether you go in for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Additionally, it’s pretty reasonably priced and in line with other local eateries. The staff are friendly and attentive and help create a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. I look forward to going back once the doors reopen! Booking is advised during peak times but never had issues getting a table midweek

We attended a birthday lunch recently which has been of exceptional quality. Food cooked and presented to perfection, exceptionally attentive and friendly waiting staff, lovely, relaxed atmosphere, we would definitely return again. In addition, suitable measures are put in place in order to keep people safe due to COVID 19, however, this does not reduce the quality of the experience. Thank you for a very special time. We look forward to visiting again.

Great experience. Staff were really attentive. Food was really good. Even blown away by the bread basket! Had Pavilion Passion cocktail, arancini, fish and chips. Definitely going again!!

Absolutely wonderful, from the moment to walk in, a very warm welcome very accommodating talking your coat, lovely soft seating beautiful decor through out. Not too many choices which is perfect. Food hot tasty filling every mouthful better than the last. Toilets were out of this world. A real experience thankyou.

It is a very nice restaurant but its a little overpriced and underwhelming. I've been three times now and it's been nice every time but £10 for a single standard g&t (because its on the cocktail menu) and £30 for a steak is just a little too much if you compare to other higher end restaurants.

My boyfriend bought me to The Ivy for my birthday. This place is so beautiful and the food is incredible. Our waiter was great and attentive. A wonderful place for a special evening.

Very very nice afternoon tea. Great service lovely cocktails. Seating is comfortable and laid out very nicely so you don't feel too close to anyone, there isn't really a bad seat or area to sit. Recommended

We came for my friends 21st birthday for lunch, the food was really lovely and is definitely a menu which you can't find anywhere else. The decor and so on was lovely, the biggest issue was our waitress. I don't know if she was new or if she just didn't give a care for any of her tables. The Ivy comes with a level of formality and standard you expect with the staff, this is very much the high standard of expectation you have with this sort of venue, what you do not expect is the waitress to have such poor English, not only that she was very scruffy.
Having worked in locations similar to this there is a uniform standard and boy, she was not up to cut. She had rolled up her apron for some apparent reason, which bulged around her stomach causing her shirt to be mildly untucked and you could see the pure lack of ironing which went into her uniform, this also caused for her to have an issue with all the buttons on her waistcoat being done up. She was just a complete mess, and could never seem to get the balance of being good with her tables, never picking up on when a table needed her assistance or if she was just being an irritation. Frankly I would've been happy to pay the 12.5% service if the service had been at least acceptable, it was not. I requested to remove it, but felt bad for doing this so ended up leaving a light cash tip just to not seem like an ungrateful customer.
Would I return to the Ivy, potentially yes, but only if the service was of a notable improvement because for the price it was shockingly poor.

One of my favourite spots in Brighton. Been a few times before so picked it for my daughter’s graduation dinner. Unfortunately it was one of the hottest days of the year and the restaurant AC couldn’t cope with the heat and volume of people so it was uncomfortable.
Love the menu choices and portion sizes. Decor and artwork are modern and colourful and the ladies bathroom is like a fancy boudoir. Recommend the cocktails and afternoon tea too.
Only 4* instead of 5 as there’s alway a strong fishy aroma whenever I’ve visited.

I loved this restaurant,my brother took me there for my birthday lunch. It was a Beautiful, luxorious setting and the food was delicious. They even brought me a birthday patisserie with a candle after over hearing it was my birthday. A real treat.

If you've been to The Ivy in London, then you'll recognise the same art deco features and lovely central bar. Lovely relaxed restaurant which has been lovingly restored. Staff so attentive and food deliciously fresh. Recommend the Candy Floss Fizz if you're into cocktails.

An absolute treat. Loved being able to spend time here with family on my last visit to Brighton and it's on the list for next time! Book a table, you don't want to miss out. The staff are amazing, the atmosphere is divine and this is a nice place to stop for afternoon tea. Gluten free/dairy free options available. Made some very special memories here. Will certainly be back.

Lovely Place but your really need to sort out your Zucchini starter! Brighton is the only place that makes it so greasy I feel sick after eating it. Lots of my friends think so to. So definitely less grease would help this! :-)
