Absolutely fabulous. The service was exceptional, the food cooked beautifully and simply delicious. The coffee was wonderful, the hot chocolate, classic and white devine! The setting is pretty and luxurious. An opportunity not to be missed, I have already re booked.

My second time here, came for my 30th birthday with my sister last year and fantastic then andFantastic now, bravo my husbandaand I felt very safe considering covid19. We came for our wedding anniversary celebrations this year and everything from staff to food was on point, perfect, organised, polite. Really made it special for us thank you. Stay safe

I had high expectations coming here but unfortunately they weren't met.
The food was ok at best, my steak was a little over what I'd ordered and had zero seasoning. Overall everything lacked flavour.
For a restaurant marketed as high end (with prices to match) we were all disappointed.
There's far better options in Brighton.

The decor is really beautiful, and the food is alright. The service, however, is simply abhorrent. Our server (I believe her name is Carmen) was so rude to us. It felt like she had a problem with us or something from the second we sat down. If I’m going to drop over £70 on a meal, especially with over £8 of it being a service charge, I think we deserve better service than our cutlery being flung on the table and just a general bad attitude. I’m grateful for the company I was with because she could have potentially ruined my night. I’ll gladly take my business to another place where I’m treated with decency. I’m not asking for red carpets to be rolled out but it shouldn’t be the hardest thing ever to make a customer feel comfortable about being there. The vegetarian shepherd’s pie, while nice, tastes like curry.
On positive note, the chocolate bombe is a must-have for sure, if you’re willing to stomach being treated like you’re not even wanted there!

Lovely food, Poor safety compliance!!! ( Table booked 13/07/20 )
This is our fourth visit and our first night out since the lockdown.
We had chosen the Ivy because it was a very special night and also because we though of all places The Ivy would be safe and follow covid-19 guidances... sadly no!
The only steps the Ivy has taken is to spread people (very good) and take your temperature but remember most people with covid-19 will not have any temperature. The staff have NO masks or face visors, the waiters are far too close to you when taking orders or serving your dishes. The menus are passed on from one table to another without any cleaning and the same applies for the credit card terminal, in fact the terminal we paid on was passed on to three tables before ours. the table were not disinfected or even wipe between customers, only the table cloth was changed, the seat were not clean or disinfected either between customers. It is very poor from the Ivy. We will return BUT not until this pandemic is over.

My self and friend visited The Ivy Brighton last night. WOW! What a experience! Just stunning in every way possible. The food was incredible and the decor was stunning. Stuff friendly and helpful. Can not recommend it enough!
