B&B Italia London

Sales driven Company that sells their products under the umbrella of "great design". Sold to Bulgari, who then reversed itself and sold it back to the original owners. Why? Overpriced and overrated nowadays by the much greater competition than ever before in their "design niche". Beware that you will need much more money than you think to purchase these (slightly dated in my opinion) products.

Lovely store and good showroom.

Beautiful brand with incredible master pieces. The shop, designed by a great architect (John Pawson) is a journey through quality products. The staff is prepared and helpful. Might not be for all budgets, but it's worth a visit.

Definitely a great sight to just walk past and see . The customer service is amazingly vip

Looks great, but quality is appalling. After only four years €4500 Athos table has become totally discoloured as the different materials used age differently. B&B's response? "this is what happens in sunlight" and "our warranty is 26 months" So don't be fooled by the sleak looks...

Really great designs - not the cheapest but that's not why you buy it. Very pleased with my sofa.

Nice furniture but way more expensive than anywhere else . Avoid dealing with Michael , he only serves customers when he knows he gets his commission cheque . He’s condescending, unhelpful and borderline snooty refusing to serve you if he feels you compare the prices with other stores selling identical stuff .We were actually turned away and he refused to serve us naming us as ‘internet shoppers ‘when we openly asked for a price match . We ended up shopping for the exact same product - a 7 k bed and a 10 k sofa elsewhere at a much better service and a lower price while actually feeling welcome . In this day and age , where prices are widely comparable and transparent those shop assistants only looking to pocket commission cheques should actually be held accountable and not allowed to deal with potential buyers . We have many B&B items that we purchased over the years but were told were are ‘not really B&B customers ' if 'he doesn’t make his commission check from us ‘. Perhaps B&B Italia in London and staff like Michael need to get a bit more up to speed with customer service (especially at this price level )and get a better understanding of the evolution of the market practices rather than expecting customers to make uninformed purchases without comparing like for like . ps. Note Post owner's reply. Shortly after the incident , we tried to come back to B&B hoping we could speak to someone else. Without being asked, Michael made sure he intervened and prevented other staff from serving us and even went that far and tried to intimidate us by saying we were 'not really customers' and calling us 'internet shoppers' again. Maybe B&B Italia has too many customers and has the choice of picking and choosing who fits their ideal customer profile. We will surely never step foot in the B&B Chelsea store again . No price match will ever compensate for the poor customer experience we had and the embarrassment we were subject to.

I visited B&B Italia for an event during London Design Festival 2014 and was surprised at how enormous the space is. When you think you've walked deep in to the showroom, you soon find you're only 1/3 down. They have some incredibly well-made pieces of furniture - a must visit for good-quality Italian furniture.

Really friendly and helpful staff, many stylish furniture related products. Pricing a bit over the top though.
