Liked this place. Busy when we went about 10pm Saturday night but could get to the bar easily and served quickly.
Good range of ales, as well as the usual. Would come back here again. Good vibe.

Interesting pub, loads of good craft beers and exciting and unusual food. I had a "Pigchickenpigchickenpig", which was incredible. Beer is very expensive, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

Lovely pub. They tend to play a really nice mix of music and the atmosphere is very mellow during the week when it's not particularly busy. They have a range of whiskey, scotch and gin and different brands of mixers e.g. Fever Tree and Schweppes both available. Staff are friendly and the pub uses the "Ask for Angela" scheme to help people stay safe which is brilliant--posters in the toilets advertising this. Used to have amazing American-style food which seems to have gone which is why I've knocked a star off, but haven't tried new menu yet.

Great vibe, great drinks - I wasn't sure what I wanted but didn't want the usual prosecco wine or bog standard mixer, fancied a cocktail which they didn't unfortunately do however the barmaid was great and she recommended one of their infused gin and tonics. I had raspberry and it was absolutely fantastic. My only regret is that we didn't go back in after we went for dinner!

Excruciatingly loud but it's a pub and a Saturday night. We booked a table for a birthday and we got the worst area near the DJ with dancing people knocking into our tables. I would have preferred seating at the back but it was never offered.

One of the best, if not the best Pubs in Brighton. Great selection of beers. Including Staropramen from tank.
Also good and not too expensive selection of decent wines and spirits.
The food is awesome, super tasty Street food.
Cons- can get very, VERY hot there, the music is sometimes unnecessarily too loud. It's a pub, not a club and it's Wednesday late afternoon, so it's hard to talk and hear each other. Bit it's not always like that.
Love the art deco ceiling.

Loved this bar! The cucumber gin infusion was great, the staff were really friendly and one even got me a stool to sit on without asking. Lots of group sitting space and friendly vibe.

Decent food however not as good as similar pubs in the area. Good atmosphere and beer selection. Take car with the beer prices though. Massive range.

Gin theme is a prominent feature of this joint, often fanned for its Sunday roast. Usually pretty busy over the weekend, book a table of you want to eat. Booths at the rear of the place are prioritised for groups of six or more, so you may be asked to move!

Food was great. I get the feeling the pub bar wasn't quite sure is it wanted to be an old man pub or a trendy pub and has got stuck between the 2 somewhere. Really enjoyed the nibble food that we ordered. Tastey and different.

Good atmosphere, good selection of drinks. On the night we visited a jazz band were playing, very busy but that all contributed to the atmosphere. Worth a look if your nearby.

Food is great, gin is great but too loud in the back. It was only 6 pm. I couldn’t hear or talk to my mate. The fabric chairs and barstools are also super gross. And someone should wipe the tables from time to time.
