Covid guidance observed as all staff wore mask. Contact tracing in place and tables were appropriately separated. The food was also tasty, I ordered the chicken and rib combo. My only issue was that I should've asked for the chicken to be well done. I would recommend this pub

The app said they were out of a particular cocktail but you can order any drink in person. Other than that nip it's a nice atmosphere and great for night life

Had a very pleasant afternoon sat on the outside tables however, I was very disappointed to see that tables were not sanatised after use. We were there for 5 hours so saw many new patrons but, though the door handles were wiped down 3 times (not necessary as doors open and so untouched) none of the tables or chairs were cleaned once

Its a Wetherspoons. You know what your going to get but its one of the better ones. We stay near here for Download festival every year and get our breakfast here each morning. Service is quick, food is good, reasonable priced and the staff are friendly and helpful. The place is usually clean and feels quite spacious even when busy.

Pretty standard weatherspoons, been going there for a couple of years now and it's often had alot more security than needed, however no worse than any other spoons! Probably second local spoons if you you live in Loughborough, find the bell more welcoming, however if you're near pop in!!

food below average and service absolutely shocking, sauces thrown on your table and server gone before you ask for anything else. food came before drinks so asked for refund on drinks. nobody asking hows your meal, and full of students who seem to have priority. last time i will visit and recommend a local takeaway instead.

Great for all meals. We stayed over the road at Travel lodge and used this weatherspoons restaurant for breakfast menu on 2 mornings. Good value for money.

Even during the pandemic we are in you would think they could afford one or two more staff members, and out of the few staff they have some are bloody slow! Waiting 30 minutes for drinks that they had given to another table! Banging blonde though the 16mm white tunnels damn I would!

Amber's rooms is the best bar for their pitchers! Purple Rain is highly recommended!! They also have nice food here. Chilled out atmosphere and great staff service

Nice pub with an increasing amount of events happening. At least twice a week there's some form of activity (bingo or pub quiz) to attend with friends. Although there's many students that frequent this place, locals do too and it's nice to see unity in the town of Loughborough. As it is a Wetherspoons, it's cheap and there's a variety of food. It is massive for a pub, so there's always room available for people to come in and have a drink or a snack.

Very quick and friendly service, had breakfast which was very quickly served. Not very hot but had a little bit of all things that make tasty meal. Free coffee refills. Clean toilets but on a 2nd floor.

Never given less than three stars to any establishment before, but I've never been spoken to by abusive staff before either. Refused to get coffee cups and told me to go downstairs and get my own. Manager also seemed to display a poor attitude. Some serious staff training required.

Purvhased burger n chips, returned original order as burger was badly burnt. Replacement given with a comment rather similar to, not as burnt but cannot do much better because of the fryer. Terrible service n food . Disappointing

Always a nice pub to visit, food is great and the atmosphere is friendly both from other guests as well as the staff. Usually not too busy but can get busy at times so maybe look at when it's less busy.

Went there on Saturday for a colleague's 21st birthday drink. There were only 2 barmaids on duty, one of which was busy doing table orders. Had a 15 minute wait at the bar when it wasn't very busy. His help them if they got a rush !!!

Good value I always have the skinny chicken burger and the chicken was nice and tender, my friend had the vegetable lasagne the only thing which is a drawback is the bar upstairs doesn't open until mid-day so you have to go downstairs to order.

Nipped in for a hot drink while we were waiting for our coach. Very friendly helpful staff. Unfortunately my hot chocolate was not hot and my husband's coffee although good was luke warm.

Pros.. Prices are reasonable and has great selection of drinks, large venue Cons.. unfortunately in the evenings at least caters to the towns student population rather than locals. Total lack of dress code but that seems to apply to most pubs in town now. Gets very busy if looking for quiet drink look elsewhere.

In the day, nice staff and good service most the time.
Last night it was unpleasant.
Rude drunk with power door men, forcing your drinks into a cupboard to go out into their enclosed garden. Mixing them.
Just over all a bad experience which is a shame because it's a really nice place in the day..

Been here a few times before when in the area & always had a good time untill now. Went in early for a drink with family, Place was clean, staff was friendly, Everyone in our family is over 50, two of our group was drinking soft drinks so we definitely wasn't drunk & having a good time remembering our mothers anniversary. That was until 9pm when some of the bouncers from Mothercare started working there. & two of these so called kids plus an old boy doing it thought that they could be rude & bully us. Boy was they in for a shock. Eventually the management came over heard what we had to say & removed the bouncers from the pub. The rest of the evening went with no problems & the rest of the bouncers was just doing their job.
Suppose you always get a few bad apple's but they picked the wrong barrel to land in this time. Would like to say thank you to the management for sorting it out before it got out of hand ????

We have been going in here for years but lately has gone down hill. Staff seem to spend more time talking than serving. Manger who was on duty on Thursday was very rude took our menu without asking while we were talking. Plus then I had to go and fetch a menu

Just been in for a quick pint and young lady refused to serve me without paying up front. In 45yrs drinking in pubs this is a first so spoke to manager who has a couldn't care less attitude and said it was up to staff and walked away as I said you've just lost a customer.

I enjoyed a chicken and bacon and cheese panini. Food was great, and even better was paying a pound more and enjoying a lovely poured pint of Guinness.
Made my Friday complete and set me up for the day.
Can happily recemdend the place for a well priced bite to eat.

Big let down. Girls birthday night and was told if we continued to be loud, ( this was us laughing and having fun) we would have to leave this to me was pathetic. We did leave through our choice, but on way out i did say its a poor shame that you cannot come out and have fun for someones birthday, and that if this is how people are treated no wonder they were dead.
