Came for a few drink today and the staff were so friendly and couldn't do more for us! Drinks didn't take long to come out at all seen as they were full and taking lots of food orders really nice atmosphere here specially with the sun shinning! Thanks for a lovely afternoon

First pint near a pub in 6 months and the real ale choice is Abbot or Abbot so a cool pint of Abbot it is its 10degs in the back yard so not tropical.And a breakfast gets cold quickly outdoors so eat faster.Two ladies on to serve you clocking up the miles back and forth no need for weightwatchers in the circumstances its OK give it just over a month and it ll be back to normal??

Took family members to have a drink and some food , doormen very good but once we got in , social distancing with a group near to us was not observed .
Once food was ordered , it arrived fairly promptly and the server duely served our meal . We was not told about sauces , salt and pepper and had to find them ourselves bearing in mind , this was our first time there .
Was not impressed !
Our drinks were served after we started our meal.
The meal I had was an Empire Burger , this had very little flavour and eating the meat was not a good experience.....cardboard comes to mind !
Chips were good but onion rings were very greasy.
You need to up your game as other eateries do it an awful lot better .
Sorry about the scathing review but the only way you will improve is to take note and work on improving your food and clamp down on social distancing within the pub .

Visited here while stopping in the Loughborough. Service and food was really good. It was curry night so went for the Rogan Josh, nice but portion size was quite small but had naan bread and popadoms included. Recommend a visit.

The food was excellent and very good value for money , The facilities were spotless and I noticed that they cleaned all the doors and stair rails frequently and they had hand sanitiser at the door .

Excellent beer and other drink selection with sensible prices. We had a pint if ale and gin which only cost £5. Anywhere else you couldn't even buy the g&t for that. Obviously the atmosphere and crowd is different to a swanky pub/bar but a drink is a drink. Always worth popping in for one or two.

This is the better of Loughborough's Wetherspoons Pubs (The other one is actually a Lloyds) They have Kelham Island Pale Rider on all the time. Nothing more needs to be said!!

Ok, so this place is cheap. I have to say though...you get what you pay for! Staff seemed unfriendly and far too busy to be nice it seemed! Upon ordering the same drink twice, was charged different prices! Upon questioning the difference, it was reluctantly corrected but with no apology. Tables were sticky and the floor dirty. Toilets need an overhaul but seemed clean. Not sure I'll return ..I didn't feel welcome nor valued. It's a shame :(

Usually use the buttercross in Bingham , but visited some friends here .
Food is usual happy standard however it's in need of a revamp I think, toilets were smelly.
However I'll finish by saying evry staff member we spoke to was pleasant.
