WOODARICH
I think this bar+restaurant has the best meal+drink deals in town. You can get some good bar food and a beer for under £10. You'll see people of all ages here - it ins't only for the university students. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because they don't offer table service unless you use their app - otherwise you have to order your food and drinks at the bar.

We were staying nearby for download all weekend.
Came in Saturday for breakfast, but place was heaving with 2 staff, 1 on bar, 1 on floor so we went elsewhere.
Came in Sunday and Monday for breakfast. Sunday busy only just got a table. Service was good, food arrived quickly.

Quite good presentation in our dishes, however the beef burger over cooked. Place a bit crowded I guess because the curry night special, tried the chicken korma, supposed to be mild of all but still very hot for my liking. This pub has reduced the portions of dishes but it's still value for money, most attractive is that includes a drink in majority of the menu.

Good value food and drink. Does tend to be busy most of the time and can be difficult to get a table. There is outdoor seating front and back for when the weather is nice. Would recommend for a quick meal or drinks with friends.

If you don't know a town or place, A wetherspoon's is always a safe bet. With a front and rear beer garden.
Unlimited coffee, thats expresso on tap for me. The breakfast was good and black pudding cooked well.
Staff are nice, friendly and food order was really fast.
Also plug sockets to charge your tech. (A small revamp on the decor would bring this lovely pub in to the 2020s and secure that final star )

Nice Cosy Wetherspoons with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Food is good, and Real Ale is excellently kept. Good meeting point on a Pub Crawl!

The food is delicious and very cheap (the cookies are awesome), as well as the drinks. The personnel is very kind and attentive, and I love the atmosphere, very cosy. Definitely a good place to go.
