Had a really lovely time here with my friends the other day, we were accommodated and served by the lovely Amelia (I hope that I spelled that right)! She was super hospitable and absolutely wonderful, made the experience so worth it.
The outdoor seating is clean and well decorated, there are TVs and heating over some of the tables. It's all socially distanced very well, with ample space (and privacy) between the tables.
There was a huge selection of drinks and snacks! The cocktails were really great too, coming in both glasses and pitchers with no ice-cube overload like some other pubs have. The whole menu was reasonably priced and the service was quite quick for how busy they were.
Definitely going to be coming back and telling others about it. Thanks especially to Amelia, we love you!! ????

One of my favourite pubs in town. You'll need to book if you want to navigate the lock down restrictions. The chicken wings I had were tasty but a bit over done and dry for my liking. Other than that it's a good place to visit.

Good student pub near the centre of town, well priced. Has a couple of pool tables and a big screen for sport. Not the fanciest bar, but the staff have good hearts.

A good place to meet up with friends for a game of pool and a social pint of beer or local independent brewery ale. Its clientele are mainly younger in age i.e. university students, but it is also a family friendly place up until say 8pm, when it can be very busy and a bit too noisy for families with younger children.

The food (easy cheesy burger) was absolutely gorgeous. The place was nearly dead though for a Sunday. Area isn't the nicest and we had to park around the corner since it has no dedicated parking but the staff were friendly and once inside it's a nice bar.

When i visited the phantom I was pleasantly surprised.
The atmosphere was great, the staff seemed happy and friendly.
We ordered food, we all ordered separately, and all the food came out hot all together.
Great menu choices from light bites to big plates.
Not sure about the alcohol I only came here with work, but the Pepsi and juices as expected.

The Phantom is a great pub. Always have a good time here. However, the breakfast is absolutely shocking. Got to be the worst breakfast I've ever had. Was looking forward to it so much but got given a toddler size bowl of mediocre food. The mushroom must have been left in the oven over night. If I gave each person in the pub a baked bean, I could have fed all of 7 people. Tomatoes... Hard and cold. Egg, bacon and sausage... Alright. But small portions, so did Not make up for the rest of the breakfast monstrosity.
Great pub, just don't get breakfast here.

I eat the chicken wings on Wednesday and sometimes they are burnt and taste horrible. But other times they are tasty. The price for alcohol is higher than average. The environment is nice and everyone is friendly and the toilets are always clean.

I visit The Phantom regularly and the level of service from the friendly and often comical staff has never dropped. The recent refurbishment has really done the place justice and adds to the character of the place. Good food and a decent choice of drinks! Good for watching sport and always great for a sit outside in the summer! Best pub in Loughborough for me.

This is a brilliant place for drinks and the food is good too. Staff are nice. Service is quick, actually we only waited about 12 minutes for two full English breakfasts. What I loved about this place is that there is a bookshelf of board games that you can take to your table and play while your waiting for your food or for your time there. I think this is a fantastic touch, unusual and fun. Drinks are good here, there is outside seating and smoking area and the music is very good too. They do a loyalty scheme/card here which is great. And sometimes live music, quiz nights and live sports t.v for the main games. Highly recommended.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday, place wasn't overly busy - just your typical weekend punters. The single bar staff was friendly but clearly needed help at times, as service was a little slow. Unfortunately the food we ordered was diabolical and means we will never return for any food. We ordered 2 burgers and an all day breakfast, with coffee and a cola. The food took an hour to arrive, which for a local pub is just disgraceful - the only waitress was polite and apologetic, offering us free drinks as compensation. When it did arrive, the disappointment just continued. Presentation, portion size and overall appeal was laughable. Personally my burger was tiny, missing jalapeños, coriander, coleslaw and cheese... which for the time it took to make was extremely frustrating. Asked where the other bits were and the chef sent out a single slice of burger cheese in a bowl saying they forgot to mention they'd run out of coleslaw - pretty insulting. It arrived with a side of chips, which must have been about 15 skinny fries, gone in a few bites! The breakfast wasn't too bad, however the plate/bowl had a pool of grease at the bottom. Were it not for a refund of one main meal, which was dealt with swiftly and without hassle by the single bar staff, it would have got 1 star. Avoid the food, stick to drinks.

Well spacious bar has live events at bank holidays and such. Beer is not as cheap as a pub beer but is cheaper than a night club. Staff service is good and atmosphere is fairly medeoca as with any bar with live music it attracts a crowd so can be busy

Honestly used to be great, now seems to be where you can only find the local junkies and get harassed by them until you leave. Been threatened here and told staff and they don’t do anything. Complete lack of care about customers and they’d rather make money off smack heads that r putting long term customers off than create a (not even good) but just about tolerable environment.
Avoid it unless you are a local junkie, if you are you’ve found your new home. Gg guys.
